Josh is pretty darned good at this point. He will become a smarter player as time goes on but I wouldn't look for any extraordinary progression in his play. I think he pretty much is who he is right now. Dan Marino had his best season in his second year in the league. He still had a great career.

I'll bring it up here instead if making a new thread. 39 years ago today, the Bills had their own version of "Hail Murray" when Joe Ferguson's prayer was answered by Roland Hooks and the Bills beat the pre-cheating, New England Patriots at Rich Stadium. Back then, I believe the Bills called yhe play "Big Ben", but I could be wrong. On a side note, I was at that game with my Dad. When Hooks hauled that pass in, we were in the parking lot. LOL

Yep. Halftime adjustments seemed to be a strength of the team in the past. For some reason they come out of the locker room flat and then turn it on in the 4th. However, I don't know if that's something that can be fixed over a bye week?

The game was much better 30-40 years ago on the field. With saying that it is more interesting, IMO, today because of the 24/7 coverage, to include an off-season that has turned into being almost as interesting as the season itself. Also being able to tune into any game is a huge plus over the good old days. I'm fine with both eras. Hockey, on the other hand, was MUCH better back in the day.

It's going to be important if we have a game in terrible weather. Especially if that game is in the playoffs.

That post was absolutely silly on your part. If it's not a big deal why wouldn't the NFL have mandated the players wear a mask while playing? They have for coaches, refs, etc.

Just move their games out of state. I mean, anyone that has played a competitive sport knows wearing something that restricts breathing is not a good idea.

Under contract in a rookie deal and coming from an awful situation I'd put him at a 3rd rounder.

Why would the Jets trade him there? He is still under contract and has value. He will be traded to an NFC team or, at least, out of the division.

Yeah, I’m discouraged as well since we will be facing a bunch of fleet footed QB’s like Murray down the stretch. I shudder when I think of Big Ben doing that to us.

I’m a fan so it will not effect the Bills who I focus on. Yes, I have been thinking about the Steelers being 12-0 coming into Buffalo. Looking forward to that game!
