    Whaley came from Pittsburgh so I wouldn't dismiss him as a swroous candidate.

    A lot of players might be deemed worthless by the end of camp. Right now the Bills have no depth at all at guard. Ford is still on a rookie deal. He is not going anywhere until there are others that supplant him or his deal expires.

    We can now close this. Harrison Phillps is currently on NFL Network on SiriusXM. He said the Bills were in it until the end and made a decent offer and he even insinuated that his agents reached out to the Bills right at the end. He said there were 4 teams and it was down to either the Vikings or Bills. He cried tears when it wasn't Buffalo.

    I think an extension for Diggs and Edmunds would give us room this year, or am I wrong? I also have a feeling eith Basham, Epenesa or both could be traded to a team heavy in CB's but light on the d-line.

    Right. Because it's not like they have ever beat the likes of Mahomes, Russell Wilson, Derek Carr, Dak Prescott, Phillip Rivers, Justin Herbert, Lamar Jackson, Kirk Cousins, Ben Roethisberger....or anyone with a good QB, right?

    Yes, we should trade Allen while we are at it as well. Having cap space and draft picks is what really matters.

    DeSean Watson is good. DeSean Watson doesn't scare me.

    The way I look at it, Watson had a pretty good Texans team and barely beat Allen back when we had sugar high Josh QBing us and we had a much less talented team. Buffalo will smash the Browns when they come to Buffalo this year.

    Nothing to back this claim up but it just seemed to me that Star played football because he had to, not because he wanted to.

    Everyone keeps bringing up Ward. Ward was a damn good blocker but what made him fearsome was he would lay a player out with a blind side block. That is no longer allowed.

    Mel Kiper had Allen rated as the top QB.

    If he is so much of a bust, you won't get squat in return. Don't bet the farm that it's Epenesa if they do a trade, though calling Epenesa a bust is way premature IMO.

    It has the feel that Epenesa or Basham may be sent away in a trade. I like what we are doing but having 9 starting type players in a unit is overkill.
