Came down from yesterdays high. There is still work to do. On offense we will have lost Sanders and Beasley (probably) and have gained OJ Howard. We need to make something up there. O-line we lost Mongo and Williams and gained Saffold. Call it a draw with a loss of depth. On defense we certainly have a stronger d-line but lost Levi Wallace and have White coming off an ACL. Our d-backfield is much worse than it was pre-Thanksgiving last year. Still have more free agency and the draft. That's good because there is more work to do.

The one thing McDemott and Frazier know a hell of a lot better than any poster on this site is defensive back talent. If they feel Dane Jackson, Neal, whoever is legitimate, I will take their word for it. They also thought Levi Wallace, an UFA, was legit. They were correct.

No offense but everything in your post is wrong. The Giants brought Taylor in to be a backup. There will be no QB competition and Daniel Jones will be the starting QB of the team. Not to mention, no way, no how, will the Giants take a QB at 5.

Correct. And, to add to what you stated, the Rams added OBJ and Miller as in-season trades last year. There are many ways to accomplish getting a roster to a Championship level.
