Why are people always talking pass rusher?
Walking Tall replied to Marvlevydraftdaygenius's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m supposed to prove you wrong that Bruce Smith and Reggie White wouldn’t get sacks on this defense? You are clueless. The Bills were 12th overall in sacks this past season. -

The Bills sacked Mahomes twice and put pressure on him all game. He just beat the pressure. Why do you have to make up lies to force your narrative? -

https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/sacks-per-game Buffalo ranked 12th overall in sacks and those numbers down thebstretch were particularly impressive. The Bills also pressured the heck out of Mahomes but he was able to escape that pressure much the way Allen escaped KC's pressure. So, really, the both of you are wrong. -

When people post dumb comments like that I stop reading. I can only imagine what the rest of your masterpiece contains. -

Walking away very young and into the booth? You tell me. -
Sean McVay considering stepping away from coaching?

Very true. And he could also be jumping off a sinking ship that has no draft capital or cap space, which could also be a strategic, smart career move. -

Modern day John Madden of he does. -
I don't think the running back position is a spot where a team should be looking for a long term solution. Running is nice and having a good running back is great but I'm not sinking a whole lot of money into the position. Continue to draft these players in the middle to later rounds and show them the door after their rookie deals expire.

Though I will be watching, I am looking forward to this season coming to an end and everyone back to ground zero. I'm a bitter man. -
Bills Hire Kyle Shurmur, Son of Pat Shurmur
Walking Tall replied to JGMcD2's topic in The Stadium Wall
Like I said earlier, I'd take it and put it in the plus column that an up and comer knows the life-style and has a sounding board. A big us. And, again, how many coaches in the NFL have family ties to former coaches? I bet the percentage is very small. 14 percent is small. -

Walking Tall replied to JGMcD2's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tell me, how big of an issue is it? I don't think it is a problem. At all. In fact, if I knew I could hire an up and comer that has a relative that was an NFL coach, that's a plus in my book. But, again, how many coaches are there in the NFL.....and how many of those had relatives that were NFL coaches? I bet the percentage is low and it isn't exactly shocking that a kid, or young man, would take an interest in what his father has or is doing for a living. -
Is he a dominant pass rusher? If not, no thanks. Run stopping DT's aren't nearly as important as they used to be. Not when teams are throwing the ball all over the field.

It's nothing. Just some guy wanting his moment in the sun.

Questions Surrounding a New Stadium in OP .
Walking Tall replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
No offense bud, but you build a new stadium, everything should be brand spanking new. Well, we have a new stadium with a 5 year old scoreboard, 3 year old tables from the old club seats,....... Beating a dead horse. The same players that have over the last 35 years. -
Probably because of the same reason a dozen or so professional football leagues have folded in the United States.

Weren't they letters and number sections back then?

Mr. 65 toss power trap on color.

I don't think I responded to this yet but my answer is short and to the point. No. We are not overreacting. It was literally one of the worst collapses in NFL history and the more I think about it the angrier I become at the coaching staff.
