The Patriots, much like the Bills, have one good win and 4 wins against very inferior oponents.
Expect something to give in the next 5 to 6 weeks while looking at both their schedules.
So what if they get a first down? My bet is the Bills still would have held them from scoring a TD if they did and there were no indications that the Jaguars could have picked those yards up other than a fluke play or penalty.
The Bills defense was dominant yesterday and McDermott failed to take advantage of that in that particular situation.
Agreed.
Not only that, MDermott declined a penalty that would have taken J'ville out of FG range....especially with our pass defense being the strong suit of this team. Terrible decision.
McDermott needs to wake the hell up regarding FG range. Pretty soon he'll be punting on the 31.
Not just pass blocking….I’ve never seen a team struggle so mightily to pick up short yardage situations in my life. It feels like a monumental task to pick up a third or fourth and one. And that’s a team that actually carries a fullback on their roster. You’d think they be one of the better teams.
You don't dwell? I think you absoluteluly do dwell. You don't acknowledge the obvious short comings on the offensive side of the ball and tbey will struggle to be a playoff team.
The Bills couldn't have beat any team in this league today.
And, again, the Bills have got to five wins because they played garbage teams. 4 wins...two against crappy Miami times 2, Houston and Washington. Then they beat a KC team that also has a lot of issues.
Weeks ago?
Weeks ago the Bills were regularly putting up well over 30 points a game.
The past two weeks has been the issue and it's because of craptastic o-line play.
