Then we would stand the chance of having to play both of them. If they finish 2 and 3 and we are 1, we wouldn’t face one of them, if at all, until the AFC title game.
Don’t care. All I know is if both make the playoffs which I think most assume they will, and we are fortunate enough to get the #1 seed, I want those two to get the #2 and 3 seeds.
The Patriots turned the ball over 5 times yesterday. That was the first time they have done that in over 15 seasons. To think that’s who they are is just not the case.
Dominate? Yes. They out-gained the Steelers by over 160 yards. Held the ball for almost 7 minutes more and had 50 percent more first downs than Pittsburgh, Maye completed over 75 percent of his throws.
I watched it as well.
The Patriots dominated the Steelers. No doubt they were sloppy. Two turnovers at the goalline and three others and they only lost by 7.
The Patriots won by 6 at Miami. We won by 10 at home against Miami.
We killed the Jets. The Steelers squeaked by the Jets.
Explain?
The Pats beat the Dolphins by 6 in Miami. We beat the Dolphins at home by 10. Is there any difference there?
We smoked the Jets. The Steelers squeaked by the Jets.
Logic suggest, the Patriots are better than the Steelers. I agree with logic.
UP:
Kincaid- looked like we hoped he would look.
Shavers- couple catches and effective blocking.
Linebackers- some physical play from Williams and Thompson. Of course the big play from Bernard.
DOWN:
Rousseau- I know he’s French but I didn’t expect him to surrender so fast.
White- not his fault but it is what it is.
Knox- overpaid for so little to no production. That coming off a two drop performance against the Jets.
