Dolphins expected to go with Fitzpatrick as the starter
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm a huge Fitz fan, he leaves it all out on the field. If Fitz looses a game it's not from lack of trying, he sacrifices his body out there and his style of play elevates his whole team. At 38 with a average at best arm I don't think he will do very well this season but I hope that he proves me wrong. -

If Tua cannot beat out a 37 year old Fitz for the starting job by week 6 Tua’s will be approaching bust status at Mach 2. Fitz never had a strong arm, I think Fitz will struggle to make certain throws this year. With the way Fitz plays and his age I doubt Fitz will make it through this season. We will prolly get a look a Tua if he is ready or not. -
Ngakoue Watch is officially on!

We have Frazier and McD who work well with developing young CB’s and make FA CB’s into better players. The Bean has been able to draft solid to good CB prospects in here. I see no reason to spend 90 mil on the CB position. If Tre White wants top 3 money I would franchise him for two years and trade him. -

Totally disagree with the CB is more important than DE. So you would rather have Revis over Bruce Smith or even the 30 all time greats under him. Josh Norman played in McD system in Carolina and was a zone CB. Norman was overpaid big time and there are a few other zone CB who have been paid big contracts where the team is now trying to get out of them. I’ll take a good safety tandem with solid CB’s with a good pass rush over paying a CB close to 90 mil. -

Both Hughes and Addison are 32, a age that usually means decline for DE's. Not very often do very good DE's become available, when one does you need to at least look into it. If Whites contract projections are correct their is no way I'm paying a zone CB over 85 mil. -

I would rather sign a good/elite pass rusher than a good zone CB that can be replaced with a solid FA pickup or draft pick. I'm also not a fan of paying any CB over 60 mil unless it's a Revis type CB and even then I'm not sure I would put that much money into the position. -
Limited tailgating vote tonight
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All these schools that are bringing kids back are getting hit really bad. Everything is pointing to online learning. The Bills think they can bring back tailgating and allow 20k into the stadium without any issues? Good luck with that. The NFL will be extremely lucky just to get a half assed season off and now they are pushing the envelope with bringing fans back. The second wave of this tidal wave will be hitting right as the NFL season starts, it should be interesting. -
Josh Allen’s offense vs Sam Darnold’s offense

The Jets franchise is at such a all time low, only Russ and Whaley can get them back into contention. They should hire both of these guys ASAP. -
NFL officials are also opting out this year

The replacements might be bad but at least they are not corrupted. -
How messed up will the 2021 draft be?
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to billsfan714's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
2021 is the year to trade the whole draft for Ricky Williams. -
He can name the 10 teams after his 10 finishing moves in the WWF.
-
I feel bad for the Jets, they are going through their Russ/Whaley phase that is probably going to set the team back 10 years. As much as I enjoy watching it no fan base should have to suffer through that.
-
The Weasel and Whaley are the main reason for 20 years of hell. Whaleys ability to evaluate the most important position in football was horrid. Whaley was really bad at evaluating offensive positions in general and I thought he was a horrible GM. No team even offered him a deal when the Bills released him, that right there tells you just how bad Whaley was. Not one NLF team even offed him a job with all the bad GM's that are currently employed on NFL teams, that means Whaley was really bad. Whaleys press conferences where unbearable to watch. I really think McD was the main guy pulling the strings in that draft, there is no way that you give a GM that you are about to fire full power in that draft and to be honest I don't think Whaley ever had the true power as a GM. He was treated like a elevated scout with slight veto power. Whaley $*&^%$ ass.

What would/should a Milano extension look like?
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People can refer all they want, this season will be a total ***** show and the SB winner will hold less value than even the Patriots SB's. Next year might be better but every place I look has Dawkins at a 15 mil a year average and that's what we will be paying him in 2021 so he is being paid as a top 5 LT in my eyes. -

But at a 15 mil per year average he really is and in the top 5 according to spotrac. -

Dawkins is ranked around 12 to 15 and is being paid top 5 money, might as well do the same for Milano. Milano is one of the best cover LB's in the NLF, his run stuffing is average but this isn't the 90's, teams will be passing the football more and more as long as the rules keep changing. Milano is definitely one of those players when he is not in there you notice it. 4 year 45 mil type deal would be a good deal for player and team. Milanos ability to cover RB, TE and WR's to some degree is so valuable right now in the NLF, especially since we play the NE cheat riots who's whole game plan is quick illegal screens/rub routes. -
I think Dion has moderate issues with speed rushers, I have always thought he was a good run blocker with better than average pass pro skills. 9 or 10 million a year is right where he needed to be paid. He will have his work cut out for him trying to live up to this deal, I hope he takes a big leap this year because he will be under a microscope now.
