I actually like that he slides, he usually slides when he has 2 or 3 guys looking to lay a big hit on him and nothing to gain. With the rules the way they are in the NFL giving the advantage to offense, I would rather have him healthy for the long haul. I have really only see him slide like 5 or 6 times this years and they all seemed like the smart move.

I agree, if they would’ve brought in a better QB that fit in that quick hitter system they might still be in the hunt. Newton seemed like the wrong fit right from the start. If someone asked me who is the complete opposite of Tom Brady I would answer Cam Newton in less than a second. Newton has maybe one potential job after the Patriots release him and that’s being Lamar Jackson’s back up. In that offense he might even be somewhat successful.

McD’s guys play hard for him, he has the respect of the locker room, I think he is a good motivator and most important is good a developing players and making them better. He is a top 8 HC right now and improving every game.

The top paid HC’s are making around 10 mil a year. If I’m Daboll I’m not taking anything less than that. The top coordinators are only making around 2 mil a year. That is a huge pay increase and a ton of money to turn down. With all the HC opening this year there is no way that Daboll is not signed as a HC in the 8 to 10 mil range.

The Pats are still a dirty team, I would play Allen and Diggs for the 1st qtr then take them out.

I used to think like this as well but who would you rather have as a HC than a OC that can play call, play design, develop talent and mentor a QB. Daboll is going to get some very big offers to be a HC somewhere and he is probably at the top of the list for at least 3 or 4 teams. My gut feeling is that Daboll is gone after this year which would really suck but Daboll has definitely earned his shot at being a HC. If McD got hit by a bus Daboll would be a no brainer as HC of the Bills right now.

Lynn is what is holding the Chargers back and I think he will be fired after the season is over. We will need to make Daboll the highest paid OC in the NFL to keep him and he deserves it.

We need to keep drafting and hitting on O-Line talent, starters and depth. As we can see when Allen has time he can pick apart a defense and unleash his cannon for an arm. My absolute must signs are Feliciano and Williams with Milano being the one that might be let go. Its hard for me to say that because I absolutely love Milano, I think his ability to cover makes him extremely valuable in todays NLF. His tackling is good enough and his understating of this defense is at a level of just seeing and attacking. I would be cutting as much fat as possible to sign all 3 of these guys.
