Nathan Peterman to Start this Week.
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Peterman shows he can be a Kirk Cousins type QB and allows us to draft BPA we can execute a really quick turnaround if we hit on the draft and FA. -

I'm going to make a bold move and pick up the Bills defense for FFL. -
Phillip Rivers enters concussion protocol

This will be the worst offensive game in the history of the NFL. -
There are 10 offenses that you need to come out firing against and the Saints are one of them. Keep your foot on the gas knowing that as soon as you let off the game is tied. The defense was winded at halftime and it just snowballed from that point. Taylor does not poses the passing ability to carry us to a win in a game like this. With the way the rules are in the NFL their is no defense that will stop that saints offense. Drew Bree's fires his misses at us and we need to fire back. The only problem is our launcher is broken.

It's Tyrod Taylor, he can't hit WR's in stride and he needs them to be open by 5 feet just to pass them the ball. His field vision is on the level of EJ and he has no touch on his throws. No WR is going to want to come here in FA if Taylor is the QB. KB is probably at a shrine praying that McD starts Peterman against the Chargers. Woods and Watkins both had big time college careers, you could see the talent to get open was there but just no QB to get them the ball. I would equate it to having a Ferrari and putting a Ford Focus engine in it. The suspension, brakes and tires are top notch but they can never be truly tested or perform to the highest levels with such a weak engine.

Goodwin played today after losing his son
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to BringBackOrton's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's starting to look more and more that we did have good weapons in Goodwin, Wood and Watkins but just didn't have a QB to pass them the ball. -
The only way we have even a sliver of a chance of beating the Pats is if Peterman starts. Their is no way a Taylor led offense keeps up with the Patriots.

Every Dareus hater, APOLOGIZE
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have always said that Dareus has the god given talent to be the best DT to ever play the game. The guy has gone through a lot of horrible tragedies in his life. He is a good player but when you add in that contract with the fact that he was one strike away from close to a full season suspension I think the Bills made the only move they could in trading him. I would like to see him one year come into a season without dealing with an injury in the offseason and in peak form. If he does he will be in the pro bowl easily. -
If Peterman shows that he might be a good QB then we don't have to draft one high. With all the draft picks that we have and hopefully signing 2 big FA signings we could do a really quick turnaround.

If they don't start Peterman I will be amazed.

When your playing Bree's or Brady your offense better put up points or your dead. Taylor needs to start passing the damn football. -

I agree, I doubt Benjamin would even sign long term with Taylor as QB. He has never trusted his WR's to make plays because of his ineffectiveness as a passer. -

If we don't draft and sign a QB then we will never make the playoffs. -
Sorry your right, I forgot about the 5th year option. I'll post it again next year.
-
I'm sure Benjamin is extremely happy being on the worst passing offense in a contract year.

Bingo, the top 10 QB's in the NFL would've torched single man coverage on both outside WR's. That alone puts a ton of extra pressure on the O-Line not to mention the Jets have the 2nd best D-Line in the NFL. Very curious to see if the Jets use same game plan against Winston. Will be very telling.

Bills CAN get back on track vs New Orleans
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Chargers have arguably a better D-Line than the Jets so I hope they are ready to see a identical game plan. -
Either way Taylor will need to pass the football for yardage and TD's for us to win these next 4 games. I don't think we have the cap to build a team that is good enough on defense to absorb Taylor's short comings as a QB. This will be Taylor's 3rd year of no playoffs and being in the bottom 10 in passing yards. The ultimate goal is winning the super bowl and I don't see Taylor doing that with us or on another team.

I would like to officially call it Jay Cutler syndrome, I guess we have 2 more OC's to go before we get a QB change. It sucks because McD looks like he could be a very good long term HC but will be fired after 2 more failed OC's.

Denison runs a version of a west coast offense that incorporate's rollouts and moving the QB around. I don't think a west coast offense fits any offense that has a QB that is limited or not confident in his own passing abilities. You need to pass the ball into some tight windows and place it so your WR's can get YAC. This west coast offense is the opposite of what Taylor does as a passer. I can already see the Jay Cutler syndrome starting to set in. We will go through two more OC's with the thinking that it can't possibly be the QB's fault. Our QB can throw a football through a brick wall and has good mobility, it can't possibly be him, let's go through 2 more OC's just to make sure. -

Taylor has gone through 3 OC's and I don't remember any of them letting him audible out of plays. I think it has more to do with Taylor not being able to read what the defense is doing and conveying the audible to the offense.
