I would take Lamar Jackson with our 2nd rd pick. -
Bears looking set to release Glennon
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't see Taylor ever getting back to the numbers that he put up in 2015. That was his first season in the NFL, once defense's got game film on Taylor he has gone downhill since. We have been average talent wise but not Bears bad. Taylor had his shot and I really don't see him being that much better anywhere else. -
Bears looking set to release Glennon

With the way the Bears are right now with zero offensive talent I can't see any QB putting up numbers. Trubisky is going to look a lot better with another team than with the Bears. I could see the Patriots signing Glennon. -
AJ McCarron wins grievance vs Bengals, is UFA

I can't see Taylor outplaying Goff, Jimmy G or Wilson to have a chance at that division. 3 young QB's that will be the future super star faces of the NFL. No way is going to Arizona high on my list if I'm a QB. -

The Rams, Seahawks and 49ers are all trending up. Arizona is going to have more than a few top 10 picks in the next few years. If Taylor goes to Arizona his time as a starter will end there. -

McCarron has better college stats, better back up stats and he will have better starter numbers than Taylor. If if we don't upgrade the QB position with all the options available to us somebody will need to be fired. I cannot not believe that after watching the Jacksonville game that anyone would want to keep Taylor for 18 mil. If you watched the Super Bowl you had to come to the realization that Taylor will never have a chance in a offensive game like that. I also have no idea why anyone would want Taylor mentoring a rookie QB when he still has major problems with audible's, reading defense's and passing the football. I really don't want my rookie QB leaning anything from a guy who is close to dead last in passing yards every season. If Taylor is not released McD, Beanie and Daboll will be on the hot seat which will most likely lead to them being fired in 2019. -
Bills to explore trade market for tyrod

If Taylor stays all I can say is poor Daboll and welcome to Buffalo OC #5. After 2 OC's being fired the red flags and neon lights should be flashing. If we break Jay Cutler's record for OC's I will be amazed. -

Joe Buscaglias take on the QB situation

FA 1. Kirk Cousins 2. AJ McCarron 3. Nick Foles Draft 1. Darnold 2. Mayfield 3. Luke Falk You have six options to upgrade your QB position. -
I think it might take a year or two but I see Luke Falk being one of the top QB's from this draft.

I think the QB hype is going to send the price to move up from where we are almost impossible. I can see 4 or 5 of these QB's having amazing pro days and combine's. Teams like Denver, Arizona,Jets and Giants will all be trying to leapfrog each other. I think we would have to give up 3 1st rd picks and Glenn to even open up conversations.

Jim Kelly has Gallbladder removed

That whole Kelly family is amazing. I can't even think of a word that is befitting of the character of people they are. -

To be honest this scares the **** out of me. We are going to need pocket EMP's to even take a pee at a gas station. -
QB's... Where they land... Story on NFL.com
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to BuffaloDave55's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You would have to say Foles is a top 15 QB after the way he played in the playoffs. Let's not forget that the Eagles have a ideal situation for a QB to be successful. They have the good O-Line, they have big WR's with big catch radius, after Gronk retires they will have the best TE in the NFL, they have a very good running game. If the Bills did get Foles they would need to upgrade the O-line, get another big WR and upgrade the TE. After watching the super bowl you can see that the Bills are at least two years away from being able to acquire the talent that is needed make it there. I think AJ McCarron is a better QB than Foles but I like both of those guys as upgrades to Taylor. I think we could make a playoff push in 2018 if we had either of these QB's and make a strong push in 2019 for a super bowl. I think we could copy the Eagles blue print and contend in 2019. -
A QB that is growing on me after watching some game replays is Luke Falk. If we don't trade up for a QB I would be happy with Falk. Football is this guys life and passion, he is a very accurate passer and has very good vision. He has put on some solid muscle mass for the combine and I see him getting better every year he plays. Not a very vocal guy, lets his play on the field and time spent in the film room do his talking.

Jimmy G - Signs with 49ers - NFL's highest paid player

Best players comparatively at their position
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to Mango's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Urlacher is under rated, that cover 2 defense that the Bears played required a MLB that could cover the deep middle, go sideline to sideline and stuff runnng lanes. He was around 6'4 254 and looked faster than players 40 lbs lighter. His film study was top notch, like Luke Kuekly he appeared to know where the play was going before it happened. All I can say after watching him play for his whole career is that a player like him comes around once every 20 years. -

Listening on the radio in Chicago because of snow storm. They are talking about how much holding didn't get called on the O-Line during the playoffs. Just another reason to have a QB who can put up big numbers passing the football.
