Lamar Jackson: C'mon, enough is enough
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to Tyrod's friend's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Jackson has a long way to go before he is better than Tyrod. I agree with everything else you posted but Jackson needs to be rebuilt like the 6 million dollar man. It will be a few years before he is better than Taylor. I would not be surprised if he is the 6th QB on the Bills draft board and they have a 3rd rd grade on him. -
Why would Jackson take the Wonderlic test and not - -

They see a clone of him in this draft class and so do I. -

I think it was a bad decision not to run and showcase something that the other QB's could not match. The complexity of a NFL playbook and defensive looks might require a high wonderlic, I think it is becoming more important each year. I still cannot believe his mother is his agent, just lots of poor decisions. -

I see no way the Patriots will be able to move up that far to select a QB. Gronk is either going to retire or injured a few games a year. -
Very nice post, I'm going to rewatch some games of Allen and then I'm done with this QB class. With Allen's arm strength and mobility if he can improve his accuracy a little bit he will be a Big Ben clone. As of right now now I would rank them 1. Mayfield 2. Darnold 3. Allen 4. Rosen 5. Falk 6. Rudolph

How come its never Rosen?

I'm starting to get the feeling that if you can fix Allens accuracy issues you could be getting the best QB out of this draft. His arm strength is off the charts and with a little better accuracy he could be a Big Ben type QB. -
The Wunderlich test for quarterbacks

I've watched a lot of Josh Allen but I'm going to rewatch a ton of his games this week to see if I'm missing something. Everyone has him as the top pick right now, maybe his attributes project better at the pro level. -

A financial advisor takes a cut but usually makes you money, lucky for me my mommy is a financial advisor. Maybe Jacksons mommy is going to school to be a agent. -

So true, I bet their is a question that asks if you hired a agent. -
I wanted to see the Money 5, can't believe they didn't run it. LOL!!!
-
His foot work looked horrible, he over threw it on a few plays and doesn't seem to throw a catchable ball. His mechanics will need to be demoed and completely redone. The play I was hoping to see " Money 5 " we didn't get to see. It seems like his interviews were scripted, this guy has a long way to go before his play is even on par with TT.

Bucky Brooks: Book on Lamar Jackson

I will be absolutely blown away if Jackson is even drafted in the 2nd rd. -
That was honestly the worst pro day I have ever seen.

Bucky Brooks: Book on Lamar Jackson
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
His footwork and mechanics are so god awful, he never sees the RB in the flat. He makes no adjustments and has no idea what the defense is doing to him. NFL defense's are way better and faster, I see no way that this guy makes it as a QB. Jackson has a long long long long long long long long long long long way to go to even get to Tyrod Taylor's skill level. He is going to fall in this draft faster than Jimmy Hoffa wearing cement shoes. -
They need to teach these athletic QB's to make small movements in the pocket to buy time like Brady does. They need to run as an absolute last option to take advantage of the rules that protect QB's in the pocket. If Watson does this he could become a great QB, if he doesn't I think injuries will kill his career. He is a good enough passer to throw from the pocket and kill defense's with his arm. I was hoping with Rex Ryan's Clemson connections that Watson would be a Buffalo Bill right now but Rex and Whaley are horrid evaluators of QB talent. If we had Watson right now their would be no need to trade up and we would be coping the blueprint the Seahawks used to make a run. The Biggest difference between Watson and Taylor/Jackson are that when they spy him with a FS or LB Watson see's it and makes them pay for it with his arm. If Watson can limit running and just avoid contact at all cost I think he could be a clone of Aaron Rodgers. Watson is my prime target in FFL this year.

If Mayfield is there at 4 I we need to make Cleveland a offer that they can't refuse.

Zay Jones right now is a bust
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to Foreigner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It used to take WR 3 years before they start to put up good numbers. Their are some all time great WR's that disprove this but most WR's need 3 years. -
Good arm strength, good accuracy, great field vision and anticipation. Mayfield is the QB from this draft that will be the super star QB.

Why Didn't The Giants Test Beckham?
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to BadLandsMeanie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can understand why the Giants didn't but the NFL should've been at his door the next day.
