McCarron already is average, he should have beaten the Steelers in that playoff game. He will challenge for the starting job and if Allen beats him out we will have the best backup QB in the NFL. If Allen beats out McCarron I will be amazed and happy because I think McCarron will be a better than average top 17 starter.

Nice Article on Austin Proehl

By the looks of the WR's it looks like we will be running the Patriots offense. Small 3 cone drill super stars with good hands. -
So if you play for the Cowboys it's a automatic TV gig?

Harrison Phillips will be a BEAST!

Meatball was so good at somehow figuring out snap counts. He would always be the first guy to react right as the ball was being snapped like he knew the count. Williams can shed and anchor or penetrate and push the pocket. Phillips has the same build and power as Williams but it will take him a few years to be on the same level as Meatball. -
RUMOR - Agent claims NE wanted Mayfield at #2
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to CommonCents's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
On draft day I had the top 4 QB's rated like this. 1. Mayfield 2. Darnold 3. Allen 4. Falk 5. Rosen I was not surprised to hear that the Patriots were interested in Mayfield, thank god they didn't get the chance to draft him and neither did the Jets. We dodged two major bullets in Jimmy G getting traded and Mayfield not being in the division. -
The NFL is a whole different animal, a guy like Mayfield will look good in college but in the NFL he will fail. Their is a reason that you don't see a lot of good QB's in the NFL that are under 6ft. Mayfield was my top ranked QB followed by Darnold, Allen and Falk. Its hard to tell which one of these QB's will succeed in the NFL but having the strongest arm, mobility, size and smarts is a huge advantage vs the speed and complexity of a NFL defense.

I don't really care what the Patriots do, they lucked into Brady and that story is about to end. All I care about is how the Bills build this team and get better every year. I can't wait for the Patriots to suck for 10 years. -
Did Beane know Chargers wanted Edmunds at 17?

I can't believe that he feel that far, I have been very impressed with The Bean and McD. -
EXACTLY why I think Beane blew the '18 draft. -Rd. 1

I think we have one of the better HC's in the NFL. I think McD will have the team in pretty good shape by the end of pre season. I'm excited for the season to start. -
Start Allen from Day 1/ QB competition

I personally like the way Peyton Manning was brought into the NFL as a rookie. Let him be aggressive and throw the ball downfield and learn from his mistakes while learning the speed of the NFL. Now if the O-Line looks really bad then put AJM in there, no reason for the QB to get beat up. If the O-Line is playing solid and Allen beats out AJM in the preseason he should start. -

If Allen outplays AJM in pre season he should start. AJM can get you wins and is a solid QB that can have a season like Foles if he has the same talent around him. If Allen can beat out AJM and is named the starter for week 1 that would be the ideal beginning to his career. -
RD1, Pick 7: Josh Allen QB - Wyoming
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mine was Mayfield and Darnold with Falk as my late rd pick that could be a sleeper. Getting a rookie with size, arm, mobility and intelligence is a solid pick. I have said befor if he can fix his feet and accuracy he could easily be the best QB from this draft. -
I can see us playing a lot of nickel formations, we have a stronger front 4 and a lot more safety depth.

Bills Post Draft OL depth
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to RocCityRoller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Patriots don't draft O-line because they teach everyone how to hold without getting caught. You dont need elite O-Line talent when you do that. I've rewatched the super bowl 5 times and the offensive holding that both teams get away with is the most that I have seen in any Super Bowl. -
Does Doug Whaley Get Hired This Season?
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is the worst QB evaluator that I have ever seen. He made a few good trades but that's it. He will never be a GM again in the NFL and I am still amazed he was with the Bills as long as he was. I wanted him fired after his 2nd year. -
Allen is a much better QB than his stats say. I've been watching a lot of his games and it's easy to see that his WR's get zero separation. The O-Line also had some very bad games. At the very least we have a big, strong, mobil QB that can clean up his footwork and be a better than average QB.
