I have no problem with letting him develop for another year. I wouldn't judge him off pre season games, lets see how he does when the games actually matter. I hope he turns into a solid rotation guy but he lacks the burst, speed and a dominating pass rush move to ever be a good DE.

No, i was looking at the wrong number on the website. He serves no purpose as a average run stuffing DE. I would rather use the roster spot to develop another DE.

I've never really liked the way Lawson plays. He's not a speed rusher that you have to worry about. He doesn't have great instincts where he is always in the right place to make a play. He is the last player to react when the ball is snapped. He is basically a 7 mil a year run stopper who comes in on goal line and short yardage plays. I don't see him drastically changing his game to where he is a player that is worth 7 mil a year.

I'll wait until the season starts before I go giving praise to the O-Line. Castillo is bottom of the barrel as far a OL coaches, he is the only coach on this staff that I want fired.

If we want a powerhouse defense that could carry us to the playoffs and beyond then we need a player like Mack. We have a very strong secondary that would only get better with the type of pass rush that Mack would provide.

I don't mind trading for top 3 talent or paying for top 3 talent when it comes to pass rushers. Bringing Mack back to Buffalo should be a no brainer.

The fact that Coleman might be our #2 is scary enough to think about. If Coleman is #2 that basically says the rest of our WR's are crap.

If we can carry a kicker, punter and a kick off specialist we can easily remove the kick off specialist and add a 3rd QB.

I think we win that game if we had AJM. I called Taylor's performance in that game perfectly. I knew he was going to play super conservative because he doesn't trust his accuracy to make contested throws.

For a pass rusher like Mack I would give up a lot to get him. I think if we got him this year we have legitimate shot at a top 3 defense. He was the guy I thought for sure we traded up for when the Bills made that move, I wanted the Bills to draft this guy so badly.

This season has me more excited than I have been in a long time.

After watching Taylor for 3 seasons what we have right now is a huge upgrade. My only concern with this team is the O-Line and Pass Rush.

The BIG IF is if Josh Allen can play like Russel Wilson did and put up solid numbers without turning the football over. Seattle also had a good O-Line and the key players they had on all levels of that defense were top 5 talent. If Allen plays well as a rookie starter I could see a comparison being made to Seattle.

We where going to lose that game either way, might as well give the rookie a shot. Taylor was playing bad and it was not out of the realm of him being benched. Add in HC Lynn's knowledge of Taylor's weaknesses and that the Chargers defense is a better version of a Jets defense that destroyed Taylor and you have grounds for a benching.
