I don't know honestly. I am kind of just in that "low positive" mood. I had a lot of confidence when we had that Brown, Beasley, Diggs team. We were so damn good and so close. I feel like we are winning with a bunch of nobodies right now. Like eventually having a bunch of nobodies is going to matter in a bad way. I was 50/50 last week and that game came down to the end. I am still 50/50 this week. The Chiefs have been a team that gets by, by the skin of their teeth almost every week. One would think that has to end at some point against them. Both things defy any logic I have so I guess that is maybe just keeping me centered. Two things I will say... We are a more balanced team. That is something McD has fought to achieve since day one. The other is that we have a chance. We are one game away. Can't get there without bites at the apple. This is our second bite at the apple. Go Bills!

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at Chiefs

Good to see someone who is actually in a position to experience that feels the same as I think I would. There are a lot of people out there saying "everyone hates the Chiefs." I can only speak for myself, but I don't hate the Chiefs. I'm just bored of seeing them. It's like you turn on the TV and you can pretty much just say "we know how this movie ends." When you are at that point and you aren't a direct fan then why bother watching? I only do now just to see if the other team can make the movie end different. I know they 99% of the time won't but that is the only reason. -

This is the roster that week. Of note, Spencer Brown, Kincaid, Coleman. We also didn't have Milano back yet. -

Not so much that I didn't think other teams or QBs weren't on the same planet. Of course I would still think we are the best team in the league. Maybe I am just different but I'd also be just as bored watching our team all these SBs in a short time span or whatever as I am of the Chiefs/Patriots. I would still want my team to win but I'd be bored of it. There is something to not being entitled or spoiled. I been a video gamer all my life. When I am not challenged, the game is boring. I much rather fail at something 100 times and then just that one time beat it than I would just beat it the first time every time. -

It's because they all want to live in this fantasy where they believe that no other team is anywhere in the same universe as the Chiefs. Like sure, maybe the Chiefs are better than everyone else, but to think they just exist in some other plain is ridiculous. They want to believe they can just sleep through the whole thing and still win. They don't want to admit that other teams are even close to them. I'm not even talking equal... just close. Mahomes is just in another galaxy compared to any other QB. They get soft and offended if anything nice is said about a QB not named Mahomes at all. -

Can we top this again? -
I think there was someone that posts the w/l stats and stuff of like every uniform combo we have, every week. Never fear! You can decide from there. Oh god. All red against the Chiefs, I wouldn't know what the hell team I was watching.

I hope he learned from that last TD pass. Giving Lamar 10.3 seconds to throw the ball is no bueno. Nobody can cover that long. That pass rush was the most pathetic thing I ever seen. -

Yeah we will also have to listen to Kelce yearly bad singing of "you gotta fight, for your right, to party." He made me hate that song. -

Fair enough. Im not argue it. Just that there was for sure some penalty. -
Hamlin was in a tough position there. He was in total conflict between two receivers with a lot of ground between them. The other guy was wide open too with no one on him. He was in a no win situation there if you rewatch the play. I'm assuming you are talking about that deep throw down the middle of the field.

Thats because people like Marcellus Wiley call out his obvious bait

That is incorrect. I posted the rule above straight from the NFL rulebook. You can not impede a receivers route by making contact with him. There is no "getting to the spot first" He impeded his route all the way down the field. In case you missed it: Cutting off the path of an opponent by making contact with him, without playing the ball; Cutting off the path of an opponent by making contact with him, without playing the ball; Cutting off the path of an opponent by making contact with him, without playing the ball; Cutting off the path of an opponent by making contact with him, without playing the ball; -

I don't understand how people disagree with this. You can't impede the receivers route. On top of that he has hold of him. It continued while the ball was in the air and Coleman shoved him off to make a play on the ball. Thats pass interference. I posted the rule from the NFL rulebook above. There is no dispute. -

Holding/illegal contact always turns into PI once the ball is in the air. Unless you are saying that he let go because he was shoved to the ground before the ball left Josh's hand, then it was the correct call. I dunno if he let go before hand or not as I don't have the ability to see the play again. Unless its in a highlight reel somewhere. Defensive pass interference rules apply from the time the ball is thrown until the ball is touched. See Article 2 for prohibited acts while the ball is in the air Article 2. Prohibited Acts By Both Teams While The Ball Is In The Air Acts that are pass interference include, but are not limited to: Contact by a player who is not playing the ball that restricts the opponent’s opportunity to make the catch; Playing through the back of an opponent in an attempt to make a play on the ball; Grabbing an opponent’s arm(s) in such a manner that restricts his opportunity to catch a pass; Extending an arm across the body of an opponent, thus restricting his ability to catch a pass, and regardless of whether the player committing such act is playing the ball; Cutting off the path of an opponent by making contact with him, without playing the ball; Hooking an opponent in an attempt to get to the ball in such a manner that it causes the opponent’s body to turn prior to the ball arriving; or Initiating contact with an opponent by shoving or pushing off, thus creating separation. -
The national media narrative since the Bills won

They all want to blame that 2 pt drop so they coddle Lamar. If he catches that 2 pt conversion, then Allen marches down the field while he kills the clock and we kick a fg to win then who do they blame? That is likely what would have happened. There is no doubt in my mind that Allen would have gotten 40-50 yards with 1:33 and two time outs left. It's stupid to blame just Andrews. It's a team sport and everything in the playoff matters. -

Its not just Jones. They have an outstanding sticky secondary that is really good in man coverage and Karlaftis has played really well for them too. -

I actually seen an article on MSN about it today. Wouldn't be surprised if either the Ravens or KC mentioned it to the league or something to pay attention to. Just weird to see an article about it when pretty much no one has really talked about it that I have seen.
