but they did turnover the ball. They turned it over because they were pressing. Both fumbles were them trying to get just a yard or two more after already having solid runs. The int was Josh pressing because there was nowhere to go. Miami also turned the ball over twice. they were pressing because they were stopped all game long. Miamis turnovers didn’t matter not because you want to call them arm punts but because they controlled the game through the entire game.

Well yes but I think Cook even pressed a bit today. He hadn’t really had any big runs. He lost focus on the ball fighting for an extra couple yards on an already good run. Josh did the same on his fumble. ironic thing is that Vrabel built the team McD has been trying to since he got here.
-
I mean, do you lack critical thinking skills or something? By halftime we had 4 first downs. 3 of them came right in a row from a first down. the fact is the Bills game was getting stopped. They were uncomfortable playing outside of their plan and they pressed later in the game. That’s the problem of being 1 dimensional. When that 1 dimension isn’t working then it becomes extremely hard to compensate. Josh had to go complete animal mode just to get one drive going. I feel like either you didn’t actually watch the game or you are so homer that you are making excuses while drooling at some fake meaningless stats. Did you honestly believe we had the best offense in the league? Come on now.

QTR 1-2 possessions punt turnover on downs QTR 2-4 possessions punt Cook fumble punt clocked out QTR 3-1 possession used most of the entire quarter then interception QTR 4-4 possessions TD fumble TD punt it was practically garbage time on that last fumble. They were stopped all game.

They turn the ball over because they are pressing. They are pressing because every yard is difficult for them and they rely on 10+ play 7+ min drives every drive. It’s not a good offensive philosophy. Takes too much perfection. As soon as they are behind the sticks, they have to press because their offense isn’t built to get chunks.
-
I’m gonna go with both, with the caveat that this is also the offense McD wants to run and why he was so at odds with Daboll. even ***** receiver can get 500-600 yards on a season with a mid QB. So unless you think Josh Allen is one of the worst QBs in the league, and every receiver we have is about as good as a high schooler, then scheme has to take some blame.

The Bills were high bidders for Waddle, tried acquiring Williams

You can't possibly be watching other top teams in the NFL and think we have a top offense. IDGAF what some yardage stats say or some PPG stats that is skewed. We have 3 games now where our offense was garbage. We don't have a good passing game. We are one dimensional and anyone that shuts down that one dimension, like today, is going to shut down our "top offense." -

Because it has happened 3 times this year now. For the last time, it has nothing to do with Josh chucking the ball 50 yards downfield. -

Yeah, you're right. I forgot they redid his contract while he still had 4 years left. The original contract was on the cheap though. Still isnt an excuse for not being able to get some stars on this team. The problem is having too many mediocre role players on over valued contracts. Take Samuel and Palmers contract. Pay 1 better receiver and get 1 cheap guy for depth that doesn't need to see the field. Im sure they could find one more to dump and pay a star receiver with the money of those 3 useless contracts. -

I don't know if you know football or not. What I can tell you is a few still shots from the all22 doesn't tell you much of anything. You don't know where receivers are supposed to be. You don't know what Allens progression assignments are. I'm not saying Allen doesn't miss guys sometimes, all QBs do, but a few screenshots of some guys that look open on a still shot say nothing. Were they open at the time of their progression? Were they even part of the progression at all? Did Allen have pressure he was worried about? Did Allen have a throwing lane? Did they come open after Allen was commiting to another throw and the defender knew it? Nobody knows. Its a lot more than just some dude looking open on a still shot. I only looked at them briefly, but at least one of those, the guy marked open was not open. The DB would have closed easily. -

Allens cost is not the problem. Its the excuse. Plenty of teams are paying franchise QBs and still find room to pay other stars. We got Allen on the cheap too. Too many mediocre role players getting too high of contracts is the problem. -

It's certainly possible. At this point the Bills are already in must win mode. One of the Bills, Chiefs, Ravens are not going to make it. After last week, I didn't think the Bills would be on that list, but here we are. -

That took perfection from our team not losing the rest of the schedule and Miami having an epic collapse that most people knew was coming. The Pats are not going to have an epic collapse like that. Especially with the weak ass schedule they have. Today was the best chance to get a game back on them and not only did we lose disgustingly, but the Pats won against probably the toughest team on their schedule. Jetsx2, Bengals, Giants, Bills, Ravens, Dolphins. Maybe they lose to the Ravens. Maybe we turn it around and beat them away, but they aren't going to lose against the Giants, Jets, Dolphins, or Bengals. They are too good a football team and Maye is not a noodle arm Tua in a gimmick offense. -

No coach is going for it in that situation. It is also not even close to the reason we lost. -

first thing you have to do to get the one seed is win the division. Thats not going to happen. We have injuries everywhere. Very little offensive talent and our run game has been exposed. -

im not excusing Brady but not having Cook run more wasn’t the problem. The true problem is we have no talent. Second problem is the pass game scheme is mostly LOS passes. This is the offense McD has wanted since coming here so it might not even be totally on Brady. -

A lot of his carries were stuffed or only a couple yards and that put us behind the sticks. We don't have the horses to catchup when behind the sticks. Been trying to tell people who seem to think Cook can't be stopped or we dont need a receiver or think our offense is secretly elite that eventually someone will stop our run game and this would happen. We have nothing but a bunch of roleplayers. Sure Cook is good but can be stopped. Shakir is our only trusted receiver so he can be stopped. Kincaid is good but gets hurt or has brainfarts and can also be stopped. There is no true receiver that defenses worry about on this team. People expect us to continue on 10+ play drives that require perfection all game every game. We throw the ball behind the LOS like 10 times a game. Chunk plays are a necessity in the NFL. Having a strong pass game is a necessity in the NFL. Half of Cook is actually the oline being that good schematically, but eventually coordinators figure out how to stop that schematically. It was never a winning formula to be one dimensional. If you are going to be one dimensional then its better that you are one dimensional passing. -

No, its 100% that we have all role players on offense. Stop Cook and Kincaid and its over. People just think Cook can't be stopped. He isnt that kind of back. -
