If it wasnt a completed catch then it can not be ruled a fumble. It would be ruled an incompletion in that case. I still think it was a catch but it doesnt matter. It was so close there is no way to know regardless of what people feel. We never know what refs are going to do. They ruled that Int on a 50/50 ball last year when an offensive player always gets the ball on a 50/50. Upheld on review. I think challenging it is the right call. If nothing else the offense gets extra rest and it was obviously needed. They could have made up the timeout by not calling another timeout later in the game like on the punt.

Are you talking about from where McKenzie could have gone out of bounds? That would have been like 64 or 65 yards. I think even from where McK went down it was like 62.

Its not an excellent point. The Dolphins had 8 possessions and the Bills had 9. One of the Dolphins possessions was from our own 10 but two of the Bills possessions were on short clocks. The Dolphins only did something on 2 of the 8 drives that didnt start from our own 10. The Bills forced them to punt in 5 out of 8 drives. Miami had just as many opportunities to use the clock as the Bills did. The Dolphins were 37% on third down the Bills were 61%. It doesnt matter if they averaged the same yards per play if they dont convert for first downs.

Miami possesed the ball 8 times. One of those was from our own 10 yardline. Miami punted 4 times and got a safety on a 5th punt attempt. Miami had two real drives out of 8. How is that not shutting them down? The Bills had the ball 9 times. Two of those were with short clocks. Miami had poor time of possession because the defense got them off the field.

To me it doesnt look like he ever had control of the ball. The ball and his hands continually moved all over the place and he dropped the ball.

The clock doesnt stop if you go out of bounds backwards.

He hit his head and collapsed in the field. He automatically has to get checked or they didn’t follow protocol.

Yeah I posted some of this stuff in the game day thread. Pains are saying his back was injured on another play and that during that hit when he got up his back locked up. Yet during the game it was reported he was being evaluated for a head injury.

Yes. Im guessing a lot of those are from the dump offs to the running backs.

and they didnt need to. The rooks played fine and so did Dane. Cant predict this many injuries. Needing a vet for a couple weeks now doesnt make you right.

Why would I be fearful? Its just a footbal game. I may have to have a third neck surgery that I find out about on Wednesday. The last one left me paralyzed for months with contiuing complications for a year and a half now. That I fear. Watching a football game I do not.

Im on record saying what? I didnt say that at all. I said they know how to do that and have done that. As to the last line, thats about where I sit. I have no idea how they are going to do and I have no idea who will even be playing. These injuries are tough to overcome. I just dont get all paranoid and worked up over the unknown. I turn the game on and enjoy the game from start to finish. Win or lose. Am I pissed off we lost this week? Damn right I am, but the emotions from that are what make football enjoyable. If I didnt give a crap then what fun would that be? If we blew everyone out and never lost a game and won superbowl every damn year at some point that would even get boring and I would stop caring too. The difference between last week and this week watching a football game were by the end of the third quarter I pretty much stopped watching the game because I just didnt care. Nothing was going to happen to make me care. I started focusing more on the forums than the game. I dont even remember the fourth quarter. This week I watched intently through the whole game. Jumping in excitement and pounding the table in disappointment. Sure, I love to blow people out but honestly tough close games are more fun. Im not scared of them.

This. I have to see who is playing to see how I feel about this game. I will say that Frazier/McD has had Lamars number. They know how to contain him and thats what kills Baltimore offense. Also, I believe you thought it was going to be a difficult task to stop Hill and Miami too. It wasn't. Outside of one blown play Miami couldnt do *****. Unfortunately our offense crapped the bed which was something I did not expect.

Gaining those tough 3rd and short yards have more to do with the oline than it does the running back. Its getting push when the D knows your running. Its opening a hole when the D knows you are running. Our O line just doesnt consistently do that. Plus our running concepts arent the greatest either. Our hand offs take as long to actually hand the ball off as running a deep out would.

I dont agree the Bills use Allen like Cam but this offense definitely relies totally on Allen. They have a ***** run game because they wont commit to Singletary and I dont think our line blocks very well.
