  1. This is not the first time Miami didnt follow protocol Heres a snip: https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-statement-on-matt-moore-concussion-protocol-review-0ap3000000779128 Lets hope the NFL remembers this
  2. Theres even a better part. The NFL already issued a statement days ago that said Miami followed protocol. Another interesting thing I found is that this is not the first time protocol was in question for Miami and it was found that they didnt follow protocol then either: https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-statement-on-matt-moore-concussion-protocol-review-0ap3000000779128 Heres a snip
  3. Also if they didnt think it was a concussion then why did they check him throughout the week for a concussion? If they were concerned enough that they doubted the initial prognosis then there should have been enough doubt to keep him out of the rest of the Bills game and put him in protocol.
  4. I think there is a difference between getting a concussion and putting that player right back on the field and a player being pulled and going through actual protocol to make it back in the next game.
  5. Nah I dont take it personal at all. I have no bad feelings for you man. I just find it funny you keep posting about the oline but ignored the stats twice. I happen to agree that we need upgrades. I just think you are overly harsh on them and try to potray them as terrible but in pass protection they are relatively average compared to the rest of the league. stats are here: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2022/advanced.htm
  6. Are you really trying to be a dick about it? Was I a dick with you? You asked a question. I posted information that I believe answers that question. Whats with the passive aggressive attitude? If they took him straight to the locker room for a no go situation then they failed their job because its a no go situation and they let him go back on the field.
  7. As I stated many times and posted the language from the NFL rules... The teams head physician is the guy responsible for and making the final call on whether a player can play or has to go into concussion protocol.
  8. The spotter is also a UNC Where in this graph does it say "skip the sideline review and go directly to the locker room?"
  9. Meh something other to discuss besides Tuas injury.
  10. As is the incessant negative consistant whining of some around here. Some cant even be positive without including a negative backslap.
  11. This is a Bills game. We go from blistering heat to torrential downpour. Next week will probably be hurricane winds and the following week blizzard like snow.
  12. I swear I read earlier in the week that they didnt even review the film of the injury in Buffalo when make the call. That is probably one mistake and a big one.
  13. Thats awesome but he got some details wrong. Also should spell check. This isn't a laughing matter but I do chuckle when he calls Tua "Ms" several times.
  14. They do when its gameday. They dont when a player is actually in protocol. So yes, the teams heady physician had the final say with input from the consultant.
  15. While likely a better back, I dont think it helps much because this line is not good at run blocking.
  16. I hope that they are more tansparent in their findings. I'd like to know specific mistakes although I already know what one of them is.
  17. No way! I was told Drs dont make mistakes right here on this very board.
  18. Ok I expect to see pass interference and defensive holding in this game then. As long as they call it both ways or ignore it both ways, I'm good.
  19. I dont really think like that. I just enjoy the season and each game we play. If we lose we lose. It would suck. Still a long schedule remaining. Team needs to get healthier and keep on playing their best football.
  20. I agree with you. Where I have a disconnect with you is your faith in the independent neurologist. That guy is still using the tests and standards that the NFL developed and implemented. The NFL says in their own rules: I see you disagreed in the other thread but this is right off their own website. You actually think their testing is good? They say themselves athletes can still have a concussion and pass the test. Cant make this stuff up bro. But hey go on believing that Tua had muscle spasms because an NFL paid physician said so.
  21. In this case that isnt necessarily true. Those tests are NFL created and trained. They use their own standards of testing and rules. Also as I said again, concussion symptoms that these test try to discover can take hours to days to even show up. Doctors can get a lot of information from actually seeing what happens to a person they could not otherwise get by talking to them. This is the very first step: Even a back is orthopedic. The only thing they could say is muscle spasms to clear him. Sorry but that display was not muscle spasms. Somewhere it was said they didnt even review the video footage. That is negligence. The tests in the locker room are so subpar to diagnose a concussion that the NFL even acknowledges it in their own rules: So I will take top Neurologists that arent part of the NFLs word over people trained by the NFL to follow the NFLs tests.
