He called a timeout for both plays. There is zero excuse for those 13 seconds which really should have been more like 8 seconds if they did the correct kickoff.

Id say that they would have 2 first round picks and 2 second round picks on the line and if they cant get pressure with that then someone needs to be held accountable.

I wrote this thread and headline during the first or second quarter of the game. I also didnt put that part in my thread title. I assume a mod changed it. Seems to me it fits. They did handle the Bengals and they did it while losing players along the way. The flag was absolutely the right call. It was an obvious out of bounds hit. You dont let players get away with stuff like that just because it might be game deciding.

Bengals have done this to the Chiefs every single game. Start off losing, make stops all second half and win the game. Can KC change that today? They pretty beat up.

I dont buy that. I more so think this staff doesnt really know how to develop players. A good example is Hughes, an already developed player hasnt done ***** here for years. Goes to the worst team in the league and he is a beast. Teller was bad here. Gets traded and becomes an all pro.

8 of their 22 starters today are rookies. We would have those guys scratched or sitting on the bench in favor of a vet role player. Unless forced to by injury of course and because they got no experience all season they wouldnt be ready for a game of this magnitude.

They pretty much play the same defense against everybody they play. They might change it up for say a team like the Ravens but thats about it. Its the same D every week. Thats why it was so easy for the Bengals to plan to beat it.

To me this is what our defense is... Play soft with everything in front of you. Get to the ball quick and make the tackle. Dont get beat deep. Make the team drive the entire field in short bits without the big chunks. Hope the team makes a mistake. Odds say they will over that extended amount of time. The gist of it anyways. That works against teams in the regular season for the most part. It doesnt work in the playoffs because you are now facing elite QBs. Those QBs, like Mahomes and Burrow, dont make enough mistakes for that defense to work. Which is why our D gives up a lot of points in the playoffs compared to the regular season.

I agree, its more than just what I wrote but I am trying to watch the game at the same time. Its just the stuff is pissing me off about our own team so I had to vent.

Well he aint going to do it when they send 4 deep and only leave the dump off back, I know that. They can easily scheme short passes. He took them in the first couple games. He worked and did all intermediate stuff the year before last. Dude can and will if he is coached and schemed to IMO.
