Media doing media things. Honestly, this game in week 1 worries me a bit. It could be the toughest game on our schedule only because of the unknown. Jets have played the Bills pretty tough. I think Rodgers is not the same Rodgers but he is probably still good and better than what they had last season. If the Jets lose a couple the media will be in a frenzy the opposite way. Same with Miami. Both clubs have built good rosters but neither has proven a dang thing. Buffalo didn't get this attention until we made it to the AFC championship game. Even that very year all the media was talking about how the Pats still own the division until proven otherwise lol. Miami, Jets, Pats have been talked up every season. Bills got maybe 1-2 seasons of being hyped and that lasted 1 season. Now we are dog crap all of a sudden and some people even picking us last. To be clear I don't care about any of this talk, but that is how it is.

Funny, you criticized the Bills for giving Allen his contract. Allen has one of the most team friendly contracts in the NFL for an elite qb now. Good job being wrong again.

It's certainly possible the Bills miss the playoffs. I think we will take the division still. Other AFC teams have caught up. Every year a team that made the playoffs the year before does not make it the next year. I don't think that will be the Bills. My bet is it will be Miami. I don't know what will happen. What I do know is that I don't care what "pundits" say. I can't wait for football and I will enjoy every game, win or lose.

People are who they are. Unless you think McD and Saleh are being phony to appease their press coverage. I don't hate Saleh or anything but the dude is acting like they are already superbowl winners and that was before the Rodgers stuff. This was last season too saying things like "we checkin receipts, will see you again in the playoffs." Like honestly, I don't care. I just think coaches with big mouths should have at least done something in the league already. This guy hasn't even had a winning season yet. 4-13 and 7-10. I think they are building a good team. They certainly have the talent. Poor OC and who knows if Rodgers is going to be MVP Rodgers or if he is going to be a guy that is losing it, but they still built a good team. Still... they need to be more than paper tigers to have that kind of mouth.

TBF we really didn't have underneath guys. Davis is a downfield guy with limited route tree, McKenzie was not very good, Knox I am not sure what they were doing with him but it wasn't offense, Diggs is doubled, and that leaves our running backs who were not good in the pass game. A couple of Josh Ints were a result of Cook not doing the right thing. None of our team were good YAC guys making the short game that much worse. Not saying some of this isn't on Josh but it's the team too. May even be Dorsey as well.

Maybe Mahomes will go to the media and talk about how Kelce should play because he played on a bad ankle last year. Honestly I think that ankle injury was hyped up to be worse than it was though.

Yeah its weird. We seem to struggle against the Jets. Pats seemed to struggle against Miami even with Brady. Miami seems to struggle against us. I expect this is going to be a close fought game. Week 1's can be pretty flukey too. Can't wait for the season to start!

Mostly what I hated about our defense is all the 3rd and longs we gave up. It was like clockwork and you always know that 3rd and forever is getting converted when it should have no chance.

This should be a good test for our defense and our offense. Our defense was good last few years against one dimensional teams but teams that could both run and pass they had issues against. Jets are solid on defense, have a good running game, and unless Rodgers has lost it they should have a good passing game too.
