NFL Week 8: Packers at Bills - post game thread
Scott7975 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes if Aaron Rodgers was ripping it and the Bills kept him out of the end zone it wouldnt matter because they didnt score points. That is correct. Please do. Revisit this thread the next time the Bills lose because they got gashed in the run. I'll wait. -

You said it was working for them. I said it didnt because they only scored 3 points. You think the outcome doesnt matter? What you witnessed tonight was a team that got some rushing yards and failed to put up points. Yards dont matter. Points do. The Bills turned the ball over twice against a team with Aaron Rodgers and you are worried over some rushing yards when this team has been #1 against the rush 6 games in -

You might have a point if it worked for GB but all it did was work against them. 3 points bro... 3 points in 2 drives killing their own clock. -

Once again you are complaining that a team ran the football down 3 scores, scored 3 points, and killed their own clock. If the Bills lost by 10 points and were running the football are you telling me youd be happy af because we were able to gash yards on the ground? Their running game didnt matter. What do you not understand about that? -

If Mahomes is down 3 scores midway through the 3rd quarter they wont be stupid enough to run the football. -

It was not just as effective. Two drives. 11 minutes of clock down 3 scores. 3 points. Again... all their running that you are complaining about resulted in 3 points and the death of their own clock. When they scored their sole TD of the second half they ran the ball for 12 yards over 2 plays and passed the rest of the time and that drive took 3 mins and 33 seconds. You are wrong dude. -

They used 11 minutes down 3 scores to get 3 points. No thats not the same as a passing offense. -

Frazier didnt adjust because it was non sensicle for GB to keep running the football no matter how much they were gashing us. They didnt have the clock to win like that. -

I dont like that he lost his head and took a penalty but at the same time I get it. That dude was mouthing off and pushing and punching our receivers all game long. He never got a flag for after play activities though. -

Exactly... they didnt execute. They burned all their clock on their own and didnt execute. Also the Bills stuffed the run when it mattered. Thats why running teams dont win many games. That isnt likely to happen again. They were telling GB to run the ball knowing GB didnt have the clock. Missed tackles suck but its one game. They been stout against the run all year. It'll be fine. -

Being down 3 scores until 3:33 in the 4th quarter and then down two scores still is not hanging around. Enough non sense. This game was never in jeorpardy. -
We need to start using Cook a lot more and just let Cook Cook!!!

Josh has half the yards in 7 games while sitting for an entire half+ of football than he had all year last season. He also has more than half the TD passes. 2022 Josh : 317 ypg 2021 Josh : 259 ypg

In exchange for chewing up all the clock for zero return. Almost 11 mins of clock in the third quarter for a return of 3 points while down 3 scores. You dont win a football game that way. -

Hard to do with so little playtime and opportunities but he is making the plays when given them. -

Cook is good. The Bills just dont use him. Singletary is good. The fans just dont appreciate him.- 56 replies

Right? How many times we hear from our own fan base.... "oh thats just KC playing down to the opponent, they can turn it on whenever". Its because they too are sloppy all first half. -

I knew there was no chance GB was coming back down 3 scores. Didnt like Josh throwing those picks because they were bad. Just throw the ball away there. Didnt like the sloppiness in the second half over all but the game was never in question. For whatever reason the Bills are sloppy after bye week. Not worried about them getting back on track. Just hope they dont come out sloppy like that after their first round bye in the playoffs 😃 -
