Lol can you let the season play out before you jump the gun like you always do? The Bills started off 5-2 that year which is one game difference from what the Giants did so far this year. The Giants are eeking out most of those games to get to 6-1. The Bills did not eek out their 5-2 record that season.
Yeah lets look at some context. In the first quoted post was the first time I see you comment on Hines. Pretty clear in that post alone that you dont think he can be active or play until he learns the full playbook. I then see a later comment that you are indicating he cant really play. I said you were over thinking it and that he could return punts and probably have a few package plays that would be easy for him to learn. There is zero reason to have him inactive until he learns the entire playbook.
You then try to be comical and you were condescending in your response. To which I said calm down. There was no need for your condescending aggressiveness. Then you tell me to mind my business and stop telling you what to do basically. It was my business. You were being condescending towards me for zero reason. So, imo there is something wrong with you as you got an attitude over NOTHING.
There is your context.
I think he is a decent QB but is limited in what he can do. He is playing well but he has the best WR duo in the league, a very good TE, and a very good and fast back. McDaniels put together a nice system for him that take advantage of their speed on offense plus Tuas quick decision/release that he does excel at. JMO.
Hill with Tua 5.5 games 119.4 ypg avg
Hill with Bridewater/3rd string guy 2.5 games 121.6 ypg avg
Tua 305 ypg avg
Bridgewater 348 ypg avg
This was counting half a game each for Bengals because thats pretty much what it was. This isnt to knock Tua. He has played well. Just saying... Hill didnt drop off and Bridgewater had even more yards passing per game than Tua.
Just a little more food for thought.
You are way over thinking this. There is nothing much to learn returning punts. Catch ball and follow the blocking scheme. Its not hard for a RB to learn a few plays and contribute those few plays on a short week. I dont expect much but I do expect him to be active and have a little involvement.
I believe he will be active this week returning punts and maybe a few packages. It doesnt take much to learn some simple stuff. Doesnt need to know the entire playbook to be active. Doesnt really need to know much of anything to return punts.
The Bills schedule isnt that much different than Miami before our next game. We got the Jets x 2, Pats, Lions, Browns. The tougher game is the Vikings. Do you even think before you post or does your brain go automatic pump up Miami?
I mean... Tua actually has played pretty well for them. I dont believe he is elite but if he continues that play the rest of the season, I dont think they just give up on him. Tom is past his prime. He isnt playing very well from the two games I have watched him.
Just go on Twitter bro. They are going insane on Twitter.
We've played some stout D lines already this year. They are going to win some battles but Allen is so good at getting away from that. I think we will be ok.
I dont see who wouldnt agree with that. Its been exciting having our rookies play well for the most part. Especially exciting for Benford. I think most people know at least at this point that Dane has been the best of the 3.
