  1. I aint telling ya to be quiet. Just saying... you are giving them no chance. I aint gonna lie. I'm not all that optimistic about this game either. Mostly because of the D injuries but also because I dunno what offense shows up. Has nothing to do with last year though. Last year was last year. What I do know is if this O turns it on, they can beat anyone. I also know our D is going to make at least some stops. Hopefully they make enough of them. Honestly, I come to this thread to see practice week news and things about THIS WEEK, but it devolves into every other oh woe is me the Bills suck threads and I just get tired of reading it. I'm in this thread for news, not Dr. Phil.
  2. The funny thing is all 5 of those teams you listed as "stink" team wins there were people here before the games with the "OMG how are we going to stop their pass rush. Josh is going to get killed" or "Tampa is better than the Pats we are going to lose." There were people propping up Howell. People were finding losses for all those games too. Then they suddenly sucked after we won, and in some cases not just won but blew them out. Pretty sure most teams in the league have losses against crap teams. Who cares. A wins a win and a loss is a loss. Just watch the game.
  3. No one can tell you that. It comes down to player execution. Will they maintain good zones? Will they make the tackle? Will they rush the passer? It's all execution. No one thought McD could contain Lamar and the Ravens offense either. Then McD wrote the book.
  4. If they get a two td lead at the beginning of the game then they are going to get that same two td lead whether you defer or not. Deferring is not a small advantage. It almost always gives you a chance to score twice in a row.
  5. the Bills actually had a few good games. We wouldn’t have led the league offensively if we hadn’t. miami tua Bills have been analyzed to death around here. Why would I need to do it again? I hope we do match it. Deferring is the correct move. It allows a double dip which can either recover a team if they are down or go up big in score. It is always the right move. Even more so if you get a stop on the first drive and turn around and score. You instantly take advantage and flip the game favor in your direction if that happens.
  6. Who tf cares about that?
  7. You're talking to the guy that said he would be happier if we got 300 yards passing in a loss than <300 passing in a win. Holding a high powered offense to 3 points during their scripted drive is a win in my book.
  8. They might be true, but thats premature af. They had two good games all year. One against a bottom feeder team and another against a game manager QB missing a couple stars and on a losing streak.
  9. Honestly, no Knox might be a good thing at this point. It pushes them to use Kincaid more. It pushes them to use an offense they are better at. It pushes them to actually make Davis run more than streaks down the sideline. Davis was all over the place last week which is why he had probably his best game of the season.
  10. He is nothing but a game manager. Hopefully your team tries to get him back instead of drafting another QB and they stay at the bottom of the division that much longer.
  11. Carr is absolutely terrible and Jimmy G is very solid? I think someone spiked your candy yesterday.
  12. Is the defense like the offense where it’s so complicated that it takes two years to figure out how to use a guy and get him on the field?
  13. I am honestly not sure. The site I looked at ranked it by scoring percent in the redzone but didn't break it down. What I can tell you is that Josh Allen leads the league in TDs in the redzone with 18 (13 passing, 5 rushing.) This does not include running backs. https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/red-zone-stats/qb.php
  14. the Bills are number 2 in the league in red zone scoring. KC and Philly are both outside the top 16. Poor tackling is a real thing though.
  15. That wasn't a horse collar tackle. The player wasn't pulled towards the ground nor did his knees buckle.
  16. Well, I guess we are going to find out. Losing head to head against Cinci and LAC most certainly is a meaningful conference loss. Not only do we lose the head to head against them but it worsens our conference record against teams we won't have a head to head game with. Those to me are the most important wins, not the meaningless ones.
  17. I didn't say 4 teams are going to come out of the north. At least one is likely to. Thats one less spot out of 3. It's not unheard of for 3 teams to happen. It's happened in one conference for the last 3 years. The AFC is still a dog fight this year. There are a lot of teams that are within 1 game of us right now. All but the Pats are within 2 games. We can't afford conference losses if we lose the division because either the other teams have a better conference record currently or we play them. There are only 3 spots. There are 4 teams within a game. There are 4 more within 2 games. Some of them we play. Some of them have a better conference record. We have to win the conference games if we don't win the division.
  18. I don't need to separate anything. I don't gamble. I used to professionally play poker. I got away from that a long time ago. You still sound overly happy to bet against your team when you need to come here to declare you hammered a bet.
  19. Comparatively to your other bets that is a lot for you. You seem pretty proud to say you "hammered" the bet though and honestly to me that's pretty gross being proud to bet against your team.
  20. Then when you show that other teams make the same mistakes and have the same type of rough games, you'll just get the "yeah but that team won a sb or that team went to a sb." or "that team always starts slow" or "that team is on the rise and legit sb contenders." It's always something.
  21. I think we would be lucky to. Think about our schedule and what teams have to beat us for us to not win our division. Some of them are the same teams fighting for a wc spot. Bengals, Chargers, even the Jets are a half game behind us right now lol. If they beat us then they have the head to head. Then the ones that we don't play, like Pitts and Browns currently have a better conference record. There are a lot of teams sitting within 1 game of us right now that also won't win their division.
  22. What does hammered mean, 50 bucks? When I see someone say “hammered” I expect they bet the house.
  23. I would say most people don’t expect us to win. This is the type of game the Bills do win because of that. It’s so weird. need SuperJosh this week.
  24. same. Even if they lose this week, as long as it’s close and competitive I’ll feel good if we get blown out then probably not. Getting to the superbowl has a lot to do with who you play and when though. Just need to get there. Anything can happen from there.
  25. yeah I don’t think it matters much if we get the wc or division non 1 seed. Only thing that makes a difference is the 1 seed. I feel that the chances of getting a wild card is small though considering our conference losses that would happen if we don’t win the division. Too much competition this year.
