Traditional the player that gets AP also gets MVP. It doesnt necessarily mean it will always be that way. I can still see Allen winning it. Traditionally they dont give MVP to a 3rd seed player either. Both things have still happened in history. Just not much.

Ravens with Derrick Henry is the team that scares me this year. Im not scared of the Chiefs. Havent been for a long time. We showed we can go toe to toe with them. I dont care about the nonsense of we havent beaten them "when it mattered." Thats a thing until it isn't. Just like Lamar can't win a playoff game until he did.

It's not one of my criteria. Its the HoF criteria or at least there has not ever been a QB in SB era without one of those things. I also don't bank on law of averages thing. People vote on this stuff. The same people that don't give Allen any respect and always find an excuse to not give him something. Winning a SB is probably the easiest way but that takes a team and good fortune and good luck and a lot of other stuff. I like to believe Allen will win one eventually but thats not even close to a given.

The only chance Denver has of winning this game is if the Bills do something they didnt commonly do this year and thats turn over the ball a bunch of times. Denver is a middling team in our house. You guys were scared of the Pats that one year.

He does not. Show me a qb in the super bowl era that is in the HoF with no superbowls, no mvps, or at the very least no player of the year awards. There are none. Josh has not earned a HoF ballot at all.

There is no QB in the HoF in the super bowl era without some type of hardware... going to the superbowl, winning the superbowl, mvps, or at the very least player of the year.

Its already done. Just not announced. I wouldnt take anything back. The media has already empowered fan mobs with MVPitty award. Its going to be looked at as a joke forever. Just like I think Lamars award last year was a joke but no one else does. Only in our case we would be the only ones who don't think its a joke. It would most certainly hurt his legacy if he were to never get any hardware. You think Lamar getting MV3 doesnt cement a legacy for him? Well the opposite is true if he had none.

They dont want to award Josh because they all said he was trash and would bust when he was drafted. Giving him the award would be admitting they were wrong, so every year they get a convenient excuse if they just move the goal posts a little bit.

I kept hearing all mvp talk crap on X for half the year "what do you mean Josh doesnt have any help.. he has the best oline in football." Ok where is that reflected in votes?

Yeah Lamars pounding of the Steelers didnt happen until Henry started to take over in that game. His pounding was 15 completions that his receivers got over 200 yards on because they were so wide open due to the Steelers not being able to stop Henry. That is Lamars typical game. Teams focus Henry because they can't stop him. Lamar gets easy passes because the receivers arent covered. All hail Lamar and his tough throws after Henry marches all over the field. Score was 17-17 towards the end of the 3rd quarter. Game got away from the Steelers. Lamar wasn't anything special.

Its last year that skews all this for me. Its also the fact that you cant tell me Lamar is so valuable that he is worth 3 MVPs to Mahomes 2 and Josh and Burrows 0. In no world does that make any sense at all. Dont come at me with the turnover argument. I dont want to hear it. I dont give a crap about some ints when some of them werent even his fault and he also has a ton of tds. Lamar wasnt even top 10 in passing last season. I dont wanna hear it. Its been argued to death. Dude has pro bowlers all over his team and a HOF RB that makes teams play different. Meanwhile Josh is making a name out of a special teams player that no one even knew existed. Yes. First guy to win an MVP while not even being top 10 in passing. First guy to win 3 MVP awards before he even wins 3 playoff games. First guy in forever to win an MVP as a #3 seed.

The votes for that were already in this past Wednesday. MVP has already been decided. It just isnt announced until SB week.
