  1. Yeah what I meant by that is that they can't change the playbook. All they can do is the things I said above. Its largely going to be the same offense.
  2. Its too difficult to install an entire new offense once the season starts. There is a reason these guys go through training camps. Thats the time to install offense. All they can do now is keep the same offense but hopefully form better game plans, execute better, and do a better job of having rhythm in the game. If Joe does a good job it would be because he was able to identify what in the offense works and what doesn't. Maybe simplify it down to what they can better execute.
  3. I expect to see the same offense because its too late to change anything. I also expect that Joe B does his best to get the guys executing better and taking the stuff that does work and try to keep with that. How the results turn out, I have no idea.
  4. I agree. Cover1 guys were not on the Dorsey sucks bandwagon until now. The video however is not cover1. Its Dan O.
  5. Have you actually watched any of the games? I'm not saying Allen is better than Mahomes. I'm saying what you said is pure nonsense. How is Burrow having this team at 8-2 when he has a better offense and is 5-4 right now? Mahomes has also had a down season just like Allen is having. Watch the games, not past results.
  6. Yes Josh wanted Dorsey. Dorsey was already being trained for the job before Daboll left.
  7. I dunno how to fix that for you but here it is embedded
  8. Mahomes has played bad all season and is only 7-2 because of their defense. Burrow played so bad they are 5-4 with way better talent than we have.
  9. You can end your tirade of Josh not working in the off season now. Just because it wasn't some major headline doesn't mean he didn't put the work in. https://www.buffalobills.com/video/one-bills-live-jordan-palmer-on-working-with-josh-and-kyle-allen
  10. Anyone else find it odd that this dude just made this account 19 hours ago after Dorsey got fired and has pretty much just ragged on how Josh is the problem since making that account?
  11. All that means is you watch Bills football. Mahomes has dropped ints all the time too.
  12. I dont think there is any chance McD and Daboll work together again, thats for sure. I mean maybe I am wrong but that relationship was definitely on the outs. If Daboll were coming back here, McD would be out like you said. I dunno if thats what will happen but in that scenario yeah.
  13. Have you considered that another coach made the most of our players while the recently fired coach made the worst of them?
  14. I'd have to imagine he is. Even if it doesn't happen this year it will happen next. I don't think he makes this move if he felt job secure with status quo.
  15. I dunno the answer to this but most coaches pick their own staff. WRT to final say in draft... maybe year one when Whaley was on his way out but I don't think that is true since. The reason he didn't take a QB year one was so the incomming GM could pick the QB. I highly doubt the HC/GM relationship is any different than most other teams relationship. That is the coach says what kind of players he wants and the gm goes and gets them. McD of course has some say but Beane is playing an actual GM role and not some submissive role that people dream up in their head.
  16. Daboll is definitely not zen. He got moved up to the booth for a reason. However, Daboll had something that kept Allen playing good football that Dorsey doesn't. I dunno what that is but he did.
  17. Im willing to live with turnovers when the offense is putting enough points to dominate people. Josh had a game here and there that was aweful but it was just a game here and there per season. All QBs have them. Josh is on a 6 game stretch of bad offense and clearly has regressed under Dorsey. While it may not all be on Dorsey, enough of it is that it's time for change. Our elite franchise QB is going nowhere.
  18. Honestly, I would hope so because the offense was still pathetic and had all the same problems of last year. Probably not though.
  19. He is under a ton of pressure to perform and isnt getting the job done. They just need to get back to playing football and get rid of treating it like a business front they put on at the beginning of the season.
  20. What you mean is the Bills couldn't stay on the field. Denver punted 5 times. They only had two real drives the entire game. They scored 6 points off 4 turnovers. They started with the ball in Bills territory 6 times. They were held to 15 points until the 4th qtr. You want to blame the defense because they couldn't close out the last drive thats fine, but this game loss was entirely on the offense not being able to move the football or turning it over when they did. This team would not have been in it for the entire game if not for the job the defense did. It would have gotten embarrassingly smoked.
  21. Yeah kinda what I said in the beginning. Its the coaches job to get these guys to execute and he has had a year and a half to do so. It aint working. Time for change. Unfortunately, its late in the year to change anything significant. All they can really do at this point is put together a package of stuff they work well at. This year is shot.
  22. I'm not smart enough to know. I know what I heard from players mouths though.
  23. Yes at least 3 players have commented that its the most complicated offense they have ever seen. That includes Diggs making the comment as well. I don't care what the general consensus on the board is. It can be both bland and basic from a presnap standpoint and complicated post snap when most of the board, including myself has no idea what they are looking at. @HoofHearted has said these guys can run like 5 different routes between pre and post snap. You think thats easy for everyone to be on the same page all the time? Bottom line is these guys need to get back to basic football. Dorsey wasn't getting the job done. The QB isnt getting traded because he throws INTs. Cook isnt getting traded because he fumbled the football. Kincaid isnt getting traded because he dropped a football. Diggs isnt getting traded because the media wants to stir drama. They also can't just status quo every week. Change needed to happen. This isn't just about one week.
  24. I want him to dumb down an offense that is "the most complicated offense I have ever seen - players" and help them execute. Design an offense that suits your players instead of just using the only thing he knew. If it wasn't painfully obvious that something needed to change then I dunno what to tell you. This isn't just about this week. Its about the last year or so. Something is broken on offense and it starts with him. Can't just keep going through week after week just hoping a switch flips. A switch never flips.
