On paper I use to think the D line rotation made sense. Its not working in practice. For this type of investment our D line should be getting after the QB like Josh was gotten after yesterday. They went up against a 3rd string oline with one week of practice together. It was probably the cleanest game Burrow ever played in his career and probably their best run game all season. It doesnt work. Scrap that ***** and invest heavily in the offense. I dont care if we have a mediocre defense if our O can score and Josh has time to throw the ball. They want to be a downfield team but they only give Josh barely enough time to dink and dunk. Things need to change or this team wont get past the WC round next season, if they make the playoffs at all.

I dont think anyone gets fired. Maybe it should, I dont know, but I dont think anything changes. This team needs more talent on offense though.

Diggs was double covered on that play. Josh had already come off of him before he got open. There is only so much time, especially with this o line. Josh cant stare him down waiting. Diggs wears his emotions on his sleeve. Not a big deal. He is mad about losing. I want my whole team to be mad. The ones that are complacent and dont give a crap are the ones that shouldnt be here. They need another #1 like receiver that can consistently catch passes. This will losen the Diggs coverage.

Could but only 2 teams make the SB each year. Really only a handful of true contenders. Despite last night our team is actually still one of those. Good luck.

Agree and I posted something similar in the post game thread. They need to stop that too. We dont need a 200 man Dline rotation. Keeping their legs fresh so they still cant pressure the QB all the while Josh has no talent around him. First round corners that barely play 50% of the snaps because they on rotation too now. 2nd round picks apparently with not enough talent to see the field. The only time these guys play rookies is when they are forced to. Imagine Josh had an Oline that could block instead of a 200 man dline rotation that still cant get to the QB. Sigh. I like McD and Beane but premiums are going to waste while we have maybe 3 talented guys on offense.

Was medically cleared last week. Not sure it would have made a difference but could have used him this week no? Its not like he hasnt been practicing and keeping in shape. Its time to blow this team up and spend resources on offense. No more 200 man Dline rotation that cant get pressure on the QB despite having "fresh legs." No more spending 1st and 2nd round picks just to have them sit on the bench. Get em on the field and develop them.

I dont get this fascination with Sean Payton. The dude hasnt done anything in like 15 years and he had Drew Brees all that time. As soon as it was obvious his next project QB wasnt going to cut it he "retired." So you guys want to send premium picks on a retread coach that could otherwise be used to put some talent around Josh. Probably the same people that were banging the table to bring in Gruden out of retirement for years. How'd that work out for the Raiders?

Currently, at least last I looked, in the negative. They will have to do restructures just to get under the cap and sign a full roster. I wouldnt expect any big FA signings. Not a one and we will see some players go in FA

Something difficult to do in the ***** weather. There was zero pressure on their QB today. Something that hasnt happened all season and they had a third string oline with a week of practice. They picked up like 10 yards every carry. That didnt happen alll season.. again with a third string o line with a week of practice. One guy on our D line being out didnt make that difference. It wasnt just coaching. But im done arguing with you. Feel free to have the final word but dont expect a response.

What huge games have they put up on a slick field with watery snow coming down all game long? It wasnt just light flurries. Thats the way the camera makes it look. Look at the close ups when they were at the tunnel and *****. That doesnt prove our piss poor execution wasnt affected by the weather.

Pats game last season. We lost because they ran the football and we couldn't pass the ball. True or no? Our offense was held to its lowest points of the season today true or no? Even if you come up with some theory that says both teams are affected exactly the same then its still not an advantage, which is what I said... there is no home field advantage. This team is not built to play in crap weather. That is a fact. To play in crap weather then you need a good run game. Im not talking running a few times a game and having a good YPC... im talking an actual good run game where you can pound the football like they did to us today. This is why they were less affected by the weather than we were... because they COULD pound the rock which opened ***** up for their dink and dunk. We cant.

So their run game picking up like 10 yards a clip with 3rd string linement vs ours picking up like 2 yards a clip with all of our starters was just coaching? I dont think so. Its ok to admit weather slows down our offense.

Their team has big tough guys. Our team has finesse type smurfs. I'm not going to argue with you all night. This isnt the first game we lost due to bad weather. This isnt the 90's Bills with an amazing run game that can play well when the passing game isnt there. They dont even have the o line of the 90s. We have a bunch or revolving door slack asses. This team is not built for weather. This team is build to throw the ball all over the field. Thats what Josh and this team excell at. They dont excell at the run game. They dont excell at dink and dunk.

Ditto. There is no home field advantage. Especially for a team like ours. Its a detriment to our offense and even a detriment to our D. The only true playoff advantage is getting the 1 seed, having a bye, and playing a crap team that doesnt belong in the playoffs before you play the real team. Great teams can win on the road. We didnt lose last year just because we played at Arrowhead.
