It’s weird. This past season it looked like he could only run two or three routes. With Daboll he played both out and slot and ran a bunch of routes. Another reason I’m not sold on Dorsey yet and I wasn’t even a guy that liked Daboll all that much. I think Davis is good and worth keeping but we need a 1b and better pass blocking. As well as I think a better playbook.

Does no one want Jordan Phillips back? I thought he played good when not injured. I haven’t seen his named mentioned at all. edit I see Firebaugh Kid mentioned him above.

I want players that can help us win a Super Bowl, not just role players with good attitude. just like Cole Beasley. I never cared about his view and not getting the shot. Already have enough ex sports people that don’t belong on tv. lamar will get a big life changing contract as soon as he realizes he isn’t going to get the contract he wants to demand. That or he will retire young because nobody is going to give him 250 full guarantee. He ain’t worth it.

Bills fans expecting backups to be starters. Hamlin is a decent player. Glad he is back. He is the backup not the starter.

Singletary is a good back and under appreciated here. Our o line was terrible. We hardly ever ran the ball. Singletary still produced. That said, when people say “running backs are a dime a dozen,” Singletary is the type of back they are referring to. A good back that will get the job done but not elite where he makes a defense sweat.

This. I don’t think drafting is the actual problem. It’s this staff’s ability of developing rookies and even vets that are new people to our systems.

Well I just clicked on the last page of this thread to hear what people think about this signing without having to read the 24 page thread. All I get is some Garbo about scientific analysis or some crap. Sigh come on guys. Do better.

Depends on the contract. It’s one less defensive hole to fill and I think Poyer has at least two years of gas left in him. im glad to see him back if it isn’t a big contract.

I don’t think so. If Lamar didn’t sign the tag and sits out the season then he wouldn’t get an accrued season right? Which means the Ravens can just do it again next year. Lamar’s value goes down if that happens. Personally I don’t think he is worth what he apparently wants but I think his best bet is to play, completely ball out with this new OC, stay healthy, and at least win a playoff game. If he does that then I think Lamar would hold the cards and at least get close to what he wants from somebody. i don’t think the guy is a good enough passer for that contract. I do however like him. I think he is a good guy and also a very exciting player to watch. So, I hope he does just that… play, prove me wrong, and get the deal of his dreams.

Whats BS? What did the Ravens do? Lamar is not worth that contract. They offered him a pretty fair deal. If he had an agent that could talk some sense into him he would have probably a slightly better deal than they offered and he would be set for life.

Not surprising. We dont have the cap space. This team needs impact players that are young. Poyer was an impact player but he is old. Edmunds is young but rarely made impact plays.

What that means is Watson didnt deserve the contract he got. He got it because of a desperate franchise that wasnt even on Watsons radar until that point. It doesnt mean all QBs should start getting fully guaranteed contracts.

Jets would lose some of that roster to fit Lamar. They are 1mil in the hole without him.

Agree. Im not that impressed. I look at it and just think... why not just keep the current stadium?
