  1. I know I was thinking the same thing. Maybe he just misspoke, I dunno.
  2. They also got two turnovers in Denver territory that were on the 3 yard line and the 8 yard line.
  3. I went with 21-30. They aren't going to have it as easy as Denver. I just have this feeling in the back of my mind though... I've seen a lot of hyped up games that should be high scoring only to see something like a final score of 23-17 or 17-10 or something defensively instead.
  4. There is nothing to apologize for bro. I didn't mean my post that way. I just tired so I think and write like garbage.
  5. Will Jaylen Waddle Play in Week 4? Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said Tuesday that Waddle will participate in the day’s practice. “He will practice today,” McDaniel said. “He’ll have a full practice and upon the results of that we’ll officially or unofficially clear him from the [concussion] protocol.” Waddle suffered a concussion in the fourth quarter of Miami’s Week 2 game against the Patriots. He returned to practice for the first time last Friday and was listed as questionable on the Dolphins’ Friday injury report before ultimately being ruled out for the Week 3 game against Denver. Having Waddle back would be beneficial to say the least. He has tallied eight catches for 164 yards so far this season and is ranked as the NFL’s 18th-best wide receiver by Pro Football Network. Waddle is still the Dolphins’ second-leading receiver behind Hill despite missing last week’s win.
  6. The run defense thus far has been really good outside of a couple plays that went for huge gains. They had an execution error on those plays. If they clean them up they will be fine. For the most part runs defense has done a good job though. Josh lost us that game. Completely agree but this is wrong. He made the correct read as explained in the other threads.
  7. This isn't exactly indicative of what the premise is about. Play design itself suffers having to have multiple people helping out. It's less targets for Josh. If a receiver is helping to block, he isn't running a route so that's one less target. That makes the coverage easier on defenders. Even if the guy is just chipping and pushing the defender into position, his route is late and probably already past the read because there isn't much time in the pocket. Secondly, I looked... what you said is objectively false. I see teams in the top 61 listed with 2 to 3 receivers in the list as far as receptions are concerned. I stopped at 61 because that's where our second most reception player is and that is Kincaid. I didn't spend a lot of time looking because I'm tired and don't feel like it. I just took some quick glances, but it was enough to see that you aren't totally correct in what you said. There was a team or two that had two guys in the top 20 in receptions for example. From recollection, Min had two guys in the top 8. Thirdly, Kelce missed a game so has only played 2 to Kincaid's 3. Waddle has also missed a game and would like also be up around Hill in the list if he hadn't. In any case, your inaccurate statement doesn't really matter because reception leaders aren't the end all be all for the premise of the thread as I said out above. I wish I could have written and said this better but unfortunately, I have been up for almost 30 hours now and I'm tired and half blind from hazy eyes. Perhaps we can discuss it better after I have had some sleep. If I ever get any.
  8. Thats what people do here. Discuss the Bills. This isn't sunshine and rainbows message board. Both positive and negative things get discussed. Brown is a weak link so he is being discussed as such. You talk about Bernard... people thought he would be a weak link so they discussed it and MLB in general. You are correct... surprise he wasn't a weak link thus far... so surprise people are positively talking about him. Then you bring up Josh, who hasn't been the only one to have a truly sucky game but whatever... surprise people talked about that suckage the entire weak. You attitude about "Target. Hot seat. Whatever." is simply wrong. When people think there is a weakness they will discuss it. What is the problem with that?
  9. This is how I feel too. Josh has to be superman because Gabe isn't good enough. I like Gabe, but I think we can do better. I also don't think he is worth paying a high contract to. He doesn't have speed, doesn't separate except for maybe busted coverage on a super long route, he isn't good at contested balls, he isn't good at running routes. He is a decent receiver, but we need to do better. He is just too 50/50. Either he is a drive saver or a drive killer. Sometimes that can be a game killer. Honestly Knox is kinda the same way. He has drive killing drops too often as well.
  10. I agreed somewhat with your thread but this I don't agree with. McD isn't conservative and I don't think he is holding Josh back. The only thing McD wants to that effect is for Josh to be smart and slide or get out of bounds when he runs and for Josh to make better decisions than throwing into double coverage when he doesn't have to. Otherwise I think McD wants Josh to lead a high powered offense. He may want some run game so the opposing D can't pin their ears back but thats just smart.
  11. Josh leaps defenders Wilkens likes grabbing privates Tua gets concussed
  12. I think it’s really the misdirection with their motions that cause problems with their run game coupled with the speed. McD is a dork but a really smart HC.
  13. Yes there are a lot of bad QBs that is for sure. I think he got done wrong but after suing and this amount of time out of the league there is about zero chance he gets hired.
  14. Well if the "punching bag" is a weakness of a team then people are going to talk about it. Why is it a problem to talk about a weak player?
  15. This dude is not a very good QB. He isn't terrible but he isn't very good either. He sued the NFL and reached a settlement with them. Not many people sue their employers and still work for them. Nobody is going to hire this dude. It's time he gives up.
  16. I'm glad someone else gets this. Our passing game is affected by this. Mostly the TE's. By the time they get in their route, Josh has already moved on the read. The routes just take too long when we got two extra people trying to help Brown out. Brown is doing ok with the help. Once he is in position, he usually holds the block pretty well. He is just too slow to get in position. Our passing game would be so much better if he didn't need the help all the time. Dorsey could also get some better route designs though. Some of them take way too long. Others, I am not sure if its him or receivers running bad routes but I see plays almost every game where at least two receivers are in the same area. This stems back to last year too.
  17. But but but he is just doing what the D coordinator asks him to. He gets no stats because no one throws his way. Except when that receiver runs right past him and he just stands there of course.
  18. You need to get good middle penetration to make him look and move.
  19. Yup, the overuse of shotgun needs to go. Undercenter Josh is better. Playaction Josh is better. Under center run game is better. How is Dorsey the only one who doesn't see this.
  20. Nobody wants to play there. All the other vets declined.
