  1. In two games last year he had a total of 2 catches for 11 yards. The year before 3 for 48 and 3 for 41. Not much to worry about. He has had way better games than games against the Bills. Last year the Bills were his worst games other than like 1 other team.
  2. We brought him back last year and he did jack. The dude is washed. People need to accept that and move on. The Giants have no one at receiver and even Daboll couldn't use him.
  3. I mean there was that one game he scored 3 or 4 tds in a row because we kept getting penalized. We could all here him say "How man fn TDs do I need to score" lol.
  4. He still had Kelce, Pachecko who ran all over the place with the ball, and some mid recievers who were all at the Davis level or better that were schemed wide open and caught the football. As well as an elite oline Just stop.
  5. Josh is a top 3 QB in this league. He doesn't process the field as fast as Mahomes nor always throw as accurate as Mahomes but he is still an elite top 3 QB. This thread is insane.
  6. I don't but it isn't worth wasting time going to look over a comment. I argued with quite a few people after I said he was washed. Yeah Daboll has always yelled and screamed at his players in front of people. Thats why he was moved up in the booth here because he was yelling at Allen too much. Time management in that game was his fault anyways. He let the clock run and took a timeout on 3rd down. Then he ran the ball to get the first down and took another timeout. He was the one that screwed the clock, not Tyrod.
  7. Nah. Its obviously exaggerated. Not everyone, but there were a lot of people that still wanted him.
  8. Now just look on these forums for High Football IQ. Its the same dude. He did the same thing on the official buffalo bills boards before they shut them down. As for the thread... I said two years ago Beasley lost a step. I said last year he was washed. Everybody here was all mad he was let go though.
  9. well if we had a really good slot then said slot would be our #2, not Davis.
  10. He didn't advertise it. I think it was one of those "I got some anonymous source inside the club and this is what they told me" kind of thing. If Mac keeps playing bad, he will be pulled sooner or later. He has already been benched for a partial game. It's also possible they try to use that other QB as like an occasional wild cat QB. There have been a few teams in that past that have done that sort of thing.
  11. Im tired and been up since yesterday morning so I am not going to respond to this yet but I did want to take the time to apologize that I got you mixed up with another poster on that Samuel bit. Sorry about that.
  12. It's a bigger leap on your part to try and say that Davis is route limited by design. If that's the case then Dorsey is a problem. And to tell the truth you tried to compare Davis to Samuel lol.
  13. What he is trying to say is Davis is route limited because Dorsey wants him to be route limited by design. Huge stretch IMO.
  14. He runs sprints with the two routes that he runs. Thats what he does. Occasionally has a 10 yard curl. Yeah but he only catches like 3 balls a game. Thats not a consistent chain mover. Its 3 chunk plays a game. Thats what that is. The rest of the game he is a decoy running sprints and invisible. For a team that wants to methodically move the ball down the field, you need more than just Diggs to do that. Davis is not good at much of anything besides running down the sideline. He aint a route tree guy. He aint a separation guy. He aint a contested catch guy. He aint a speed guy. He's a guy that runs down the sideline. The Bills need better than that. That should be clear from the fact they signed back a washed up Brown and Beasley off their couch last season. If Diggs went down this offense would be toast because Davis isn't good enough to hold down the fort. I'm happy they drafted Kincaid but they don't use the TEs much. Why? I don't know. The draft choice made sense given where we were at and what was available. Knox was just given a high contract to be that guy though. Kincaid doesn't change what Davis is. The Chiefs continually look to address the WR every season and every in season. Thats why they just traded with the Jets to get their receiver back from them, because they know they need to improve in that area. Thats why they keep spending high draft picks on them.
  15. Yeah, I am so sure that the Dorsey developed an offense that one WR has two routes that he runs almost all the time. Come on man.
  16. You don't understand. Those teams invested in the position. They are superbowl contenders. We have not invested in the position and havent contended for a superbowl since we had prime Diggs, prime Beasley, and Brown. Which were a much better combo than a bunch of whoevers off the street, Diggs, and Davis. You can't argue cap space when all those teams made it work. They all have the same cap space.
  17. My thoughts are I would take Samuel over Davis in a heartbeat. His per game stats are roughly similar to Davis. Samuel missed more than 3/4 of the last game as he left with a shoulder injury in the first quarter. So your overall stats you are showing are skewed. As good as Purdy has been, he isn't Allen. 49ers also have more weapons, spread the ball around more, and have a good running game to boot. So its not an apples to apples comparison you are making here. Furthermore, Samuel runs a full route tree and not just sprints, he has way more YAC, and he is better at contested catches. You can't show everything with stats.
  18. It doesn't matter. They invested in those players and they became superbowl contenders. It doesn't matter if they can keep those players down the road. It got them to the show. We don't invest. Gabe Davis is not getting us to the show running sprints.
  19. This year is not great for them receiver wise. But who cares? How many SB's and AFCCG have they been to now because they keep investing? Thats why they are looking to improve it. They still have guys that can run routes and move chains though. Are you saying they didn't have weapons in the past? Their guys are running the tree. Davis is running sprints. I'd rather have a guy that can run the routes in the offensive system and can move chains and keep us short of the sticks on third down consistently than a guy that is going to catch 2-3 balls for a chunk of yards per game.
  20. You mean the Chiefs whose #2 had 78 catches for 933 yards? The team that has a bunch of guys that can run a myriad of routes, move chains, and has one of the greatest TE's of all time? The team that actually had a run game with a shifty runner that between the air and ground got 1000 yards for them? The same team that for a few years had Kelce and Hill? They always had guys on par or better than Davis. Better than him because they can run routes and move chains. They weren't stars but they weren't one trick 2 route ponys either. Maybe you mean the Bengals who had Chase, Higgins, Boyd, Mixon. Maybe you mean the Rams who had Kupp, Woods, and ODB. Maybe you mean Philly who had Smith, Brown, and Goedert. Maybe you mean the 49ers who had McCaffrey, Kittle, and Samuel. Sorry bro but SuperBowl contenders have better receivers than Gabe Davis. The last time we contended we had Diggs, prime Beasley, and Brown
  21. You haven't answered my question. What current HC's are better than McDermott and why are they better? LAC is 2-3 this year and 3rd in their division.
  22. True but that is 1/3 of their games. I don't expect to destroy the Pats the way we have been playing but we do have a significantly better team. We should beat them but any given Sunday thing. Found this article in my MSN feed... https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/patriots-preparing-shocking-quarterback-move-ahead-of-week-7/ar-AA1irSiC?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=910f735ccac947f3854e153d8505d746&ei=7
  23. Because he has Josh Allen throwing him the football. The guy that extends plays. Routes aren't covered forever. The guy averages 3 catches a game. As I said, he is a chunk receiver but not a chain mover. We need a chain mover not named Diggs. He isn't fast. He isn't good at contested catches. He doesn't separate accept on long developing busted coverage. He runs 2 routes. He doesn't even fight the ball on potential ints. Typical his hands aren't good. They have been so far this season but it's a small sample size. There is nothing special about this guy. He isn't doing anything special to catch a couple deep balls a game. There are a ton of receivers that can catch a couple deep balls a game. The reason he has the yards he does and other receivers around the league might not is because most other teams aren't using their receivers like that. They are running standard routes. Davis is just running sprints.
