Devils advocate...what is Josh is the problem?
Scott7975 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lets see your film review. Show your work and your analysis. Otherwise you are talking garbage and just trying to sound like you know football when you don't. Cover1 put out a few clips of Josh not making the throw. They also put out some where Josh had no chance. Nobody here cross posted those though did they. Could it be because they (read:you) have an agenda? -
Devils advocate...what is Josh is the problem?

I've said my thoughts on this in many threads so I will just sum it up... 1. Lack of talent on the offensive side of the football 2. Bad coaching. -
Josh’s stats so far - the Ken Dorsey Offense
Scott7975 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't care about EPA. I care about wins. The offense was not good period. EPA can kiss my ass. 20, 14, 25. Thats the scores over the last 3 weeks. 1 win and 2 losses. Most of those points are last minute oh crap lets open the offense up points. Use your eyeballs instead of stats. What part of this offense looked like the #2 offense in the league over the last 3 weeks? -
Josh’s stats so far - the Ken Dorsey Offense
Scott7975 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't care if Dorsey scheme is amazing and the dude calls a perfect game. If our offense can't run that offense then it is the wrong offense. Our talent is subpar, our oline started good and is now a big failure as well. They took an elite QB and turned him into a mid QB asking him to do things that isn't what he excels at. They neutured Josh to play safe football. This is what McDermott wants. This is why Daboll left mad. This is why Dorsey got the job, because he is a yes sir man. I don't care what the stats show. This offense is bad and the stats are feeding off a couple games. If people are blind and can't see this offense is dumpster fire then there is nothing anyone can tell them. They just want to pump stats at you. We haven't done jack in 3 weeks now. 2nd and short is a good time to take shots. We had 2nd and short 6 times this week. It was a Cook run every time. Yes, he got the first down 5/6 times but its a missed opportunity to take a deep shot that could get a big chunk in favor of playing safe, predictable football that needs to be perfect execution with a bunch of mediocre guys and only 2 real playmakers. One of which has been castrated. -
Instead of being a game back, we could have been in the division lead. Miami has a weak schedule other than a few more teams. The margin for error is zero. If we don't win the division then we probably also lost enough games to not make the playoffs at all.

The int was thrown to Knox.

I don’t expect it to get better this year. All QBs need help that don’t drop the ball on key downs. That get separation on script and not just off script. the dolphins d is bad and Josh plays them twice a year so knows them well. Pats D is good even if they had some down games this season. They busted our line and Josh was under more pressure than probably most games this year.

Remember the 2021 season: Concern vs Panic
Scott7975 replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m still going to cheer this team every week and hope they turn it around. This feels different to me though. I don’t think the Bills are going anywhere this year. The D is toast. The coaching staff successfully took the Superman out of Josh and the rest of the O is mostly unreliable garbage too. -
As far as him running goes they been trying to curb that for years now. As far as his elite “backyard football” mostly after the Jets game I think. I think those games you just have to live with. Every qb has bad games. Even Mahomes. It’s the same bad plays that also result in the wow throws and dominant games from Josh. I’ve been saying for years that you have to take the good with the bad. The good is far more often than the bad. They are trying to turn him into what he isn’t. I don’t think Josh is capable of that but I do think Josh is capable of winning it all being who he is. He just needs better players than Davis and Knox and coaching that embrace him for what he is special at.

A trade is the only way to save the season
Scott7975 replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
it’s not a deep threat that the team needs. It’s a short to intermediate guy with sure hands and can separate quickly. Also a RT and center. -
I can answer that for him. They put 10 billion dollars into a defensive line that can’t get home and brought in the Hartys of the world to play offense. Then they neutered Josh because they are too afraid of Cam Newton or Josh throwing an int. Josh is not Brady. He is never going to be Brady. They need to embrace what he is, get him some damn help, design an offense around what he is elite at, and let Josh be fricken Josh. All the complainers about sugar high Josh… that’s the same Josh that is superstar Josh. People need to stop wanting him to be Tom Brady. He is never going to be.

7. They scored 7. That 3 points started on the Philly 23 because Hurts fumbled. -

The key to beating Miami is really taking away their run game. It’s so fast that it’s hard to take away that and Tuas first read. -
I wasnt trying to say anything. There were people in gdt that didn’t see the replay.

I agree but Philly hasn’t been all that great on offense despite their record being 5-1. -

It was but that pass only works with Hill. The speed it took to get under that ball was also incredible -
