I'm gonna be honest here. In my younger days I use to know every player on every team. Not so much anymore. So, I honestly don't know lol. Only for QBs that get the 1 seed. Sometimes the 2 seed. One voter outright stated "the award goes to the best player on the best team." What he means is best QB on the best 1 seed team. Lamar got it because he was the 1 seed who badly beat the other 1 seed.

I love how people say this. "game winning TD." It wasn't a game winning TD. It was a go ahead TD with 1:12 left in the game and the Bills still had all 3 timeouts left. Its called having hope for your team. We watched the drought years for almost 2 decades. We still watched every week with some hope. Even in this game, Josh had to convert a lot of 3rd and 8s and 9s. 1 or 2 of them dont get converted because a dropped ball or something then its a different game. What if that 4th and 2 wasnt converted (TD?)

I think if the Bills see the Chiefs in the playoffs that the Bills will win that game too. I don't think the Chiefs are going to 3 peat this season. They just are not the same team. Every game they play is close. Someone is going to knock them out.

I feel like, and I could be wrong because I dont pay too much attention to this, that this award usually goes to a newer coach that completely turned a team around from being terrible to being great in like 1 or 2 seasons. McD's best chance was when he broke the drought. Now everyone just expects us to be good so its nothing new. You could make the case that McD did this on a reload year after losing a lot of big names but I don't think that is enough. McD is certainly a top coach in this league though and would get hired the day he got fired if that happened.

Rex Ryan says he is not only the best QB in the league but the best football player in the league. I think that just like Lamar bagged the award agains the 49ers last season, Josh will bag the award if he shows out against Detroit this season.

I dunno but we will get a preview before then. I think Detroit is a great team but I don't have faith in Goff. He gets rattled under pressure. They do have a good run game though. Personally, I think they are a bit overhyped. Sure, they completely blow out weak teams, but good teams have played them close and they barely escape. They have a soft schedule. Its like what Miami was doing when they got all the hype.

Since this is a topic, on a side note... One good thing about this years team is we have a lot of young and also newer players where this type of stuff isn't in the back of their minds.

That catch for the TD that he just extended his arms while his body wasnt exactly the right way and he just snatched that missile out of the air was impressive to me. You don't see a Bills receiver do that often. I think Diggs was good at that. No I am not calling Samuel Diggs by a long shot. Im just saying we haven't had too many receivers that could snag a ball like that. Those are the type of balls that if the receiver doesnt snag it, its probably gonna be an int.

Chiefs fans are getting worse than Pats fans. Its like they think Mahomes is never going to not goto a super bowl or lose one ever again. If the Chiefs don't 3 peat this year, and I don't think they will, they are going to crash hard.
