  1. I don’t dislike McKenzie but I do notice the offense is not as good when he’s not motioning. Can anyone do that? I never really understood why we didn’t utilize more of our guys similar to what he does. Smoke would scream off the jet sweep as well as McKenzie. That said he’s shown me no reasons to not want him around. Similar to a lot of our free agents price on the open market will dictate if he’s back or not.
  2. I would let roberts walk. Kick returns are getting rare, Hyde worst case scenario can handle punts. McKenzie as well. I’m just over the special teams only players at this point. We value versatility all over I’m not sure why we can’t get a receiver or running back who can handle returns and also contribute on the offense. Taiwan Jones could play offense they just chose to never use him.
  3. Lol I was hoping someone would mention that. Can you imagine the backlash if we had Dobbins and he dropped open passes vs KC?
  4. I mentioned in a comment before he seemed to have a real knack for jumping really high and having hands up on passes where he had no shot at a sack. He may end up getting a few interception assists if he gets hands on a ball
  5. Lol it’s literally collinsworths sexiest dream come true
  6. Pittsburgh makes the most sense for him. I don’t personally want him on buffalos team. Not with the salary he’ll get in free agency or his current final year of his deal. Odds have to be pretty high you won’t get 10 games out of him.
  7. This thread is a fail on multiple levels. OP seems so angry. Gimme Everett from LA. Should be cheap and seems to have a pretty high upside still.
  8. I generally like giving guys a shot over retreads. But given Houston’s issues this hire is CRAZY. Maybe this dude works out but it seems like a dart throw blindfolded. Gonna throw a first time coach with no play calling experience into that mess of a locker room. Yikes
  9. I guess Lavontae David? I’ve always respected his play. I’m becoming a fan of Winfield Jr. Ugh but I can’t stand sooooo many players especially the quarterbacks
  10. I tend to post every year that we shouldn’t be browsing the top 5-10 players at these position groups. We aren’t gonna target the top guys. It’s fun to think of adding all these top free agents but for as many people who do mock drafts I can never understand why more don’t do free agent homework. Ross is a decent flyer option I seen. But mostly everyone just chats the top names and most expensive contracts which almost never happens.
  11. 🤮🤮🤮🤮 This is my nightmare
  12. Lol wrong thread I hope. This didn’t have to do with buffalo or their savings
  13. In all seriousness though did you expect either Beane or Mcdermott to say “man we messed up some signings and we’ll be making changes” Theyre never gonna publicly be honest about that. If Beane were let’s just say just for fun an example.... Traded our second round pick to Chicago for say Akiem Hicks (I think he’s a free agent but whatever) you don’t think he’ll cut Jefferson or Butler or someone to recoup money? If he can upgrade he’ll cut some guys loose. If they throw these guys under the bus it’s a bad look.
  14. 100% agree. After last years debacle vs Houston all the talk was how we were terrible and have one of the hardest schedules and would be lucky to even get in the playoffs.
  15. It sometimes boils down to the player. Since day one Beane has put a value on a player and for the most part won’t go above that. He has a value for milano and is willing to let him test the market to see if anyone wants to pay more. He’s a good player. He’s not elite. Given the cap problems in the league I would guess most teams will only be offering deals to elite level players. And, losing him sucks for fans but may be a blessing in disguise if it causes them to change up the style of defense.
  16. Keeping milano over Edmunds isn’t really an option though. The only way milano stays imo is if his market is ice cold. It only takes one and we see every year in free agency someone throw crazy money around. I could see Jacksonville or Indy tossing Milano a big payday
  17. I didn’t listen just read the tweets but I took it as the East teams hunting us cause we finally took the division.
  18. The only successful rebuild for Houston is keeping Watson. He’s not going to miss game checks and sit out. Play hard ball and he’ll be the starting quarterback week one.
  19. I do find some of the emphasis on special teams only players agitating.
  20. Lol reading this comment section you’d think we are Miami blowing the big game to get in the playoffs. Funny how some of y’all are missing for weeks at a time until we have a loss. Beane knows what he’s doing. We complained all those years for a stable front office who plans ahead and retains players and isn’t afraid to make a big move. Nothing is going to be perfect but they’re building every year and keep getting better. What good is the negative complaining doing? Everyone sees the needs and where we’re short. They’ll fill the spots they can and coach up the rest.
  21. I’m impressed he handled business when called upon for most of the season. I would pump the brakes a little on the hype though. A lot of his production was based off seeing teams worst corner on the field or coverage shifted heavily to Diggs. Credit to Davis for making the plays but it’s too early still to say he’s a #2. The potential is there. Nothing to be overly negative about a 4th round pick for sure.
  22. I am gonna watch. On mute. This is my worst nightmare. My two most hated players in Brady and Mahomes and the media coverage is going to make me 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 I hate it. I’m going to commentate myself and make sure my daughter is not in ear shot of the terrible things I say.
  23. I think between the first covid offseason and depth Epenesa was brought along slowly. But I never considered the pick was made for this year. I fully expect him to win a starting job next year and contribute. I’m no film junkie but I thought Epenesa was our most explosive guy the second half of the season in his limited snaps. He seemed to have pretty immediate pressure a lot and maybe the biggest thing I noticed is he’s always jumping when he’s not close to swat at the ball. If he becomes a legit starter it was a good pick. We all knew Murphy was gone and hughes and Addison would be on their last legs in this defense
  24. I’m ok with letting Milano walk. I like the guy I just think at this stage some guys can’t get paid here. I wanted Buffalo to pickup lawsons 5th year only for the extra cost controlled season. I think he would of done well this year for us. I feel the same for Edmunds. I can agree with a lot of fans that he plays pretty soft for a linebacker. I think he needs to be here long term though. I don’t think we’ve seen him play his best football yet. We need a legit 4 man pass rush and I think we will see a huge uptick in Edmunds play against the pass at least. I leave the rookie talk to those with more knowledge but I like keeping Edmunds around and Klein and working some youth around them.
  25. And I think it’s fair to say an offensive genius like Reid might stay a step ahead building his offense. Each piece he adds to the offense almost immediately has designed plays to work to their strengths. Their system has been in place so long, even before Mahomes some of those guys were already in this system so they can keep adding. We’re honestly only in year two of our offense with most of this personnel
