Unpopular opinion but I picked don’t offer and let him walk. I like the guy, but I do think he’s really limited outside of just being a speedy player. He generally never makes anyone miss as a runner. I think it’s actually really easy to replace him at the lowest of contract levels. Couple guys I’d like to target who won’t break the bank.. Kalif Raymond some may remember from the titans game. Speedy guy. Mickens from Tampa. Jojo Natson coming off ACL. Deandrew white. Not sure all those guys can return outside mickens and natson but I like them all in the gadget kinda role McKenzie plays.

I don’t think he’ll catch much heat. It’ll all be forgotten soon. Not to mention most of those guys won’t be on the team next year especially the offensive linemen. But it seems to be a bit of a downward trend for the future Golden boy between the ladies in his life and this if it were to become a bigger deal than it looks.

Some of our best finds have been bargains hunts. Darryl Williams is a prime example of that. Even Feliciano. Jordan Poyer years ago. Guys that didn’t break the bank to sign and not many were familiar with. There’s going to be a lot of veterans out there this year if teams have to make a lot of cuts for salary

I think it will be a lot of shorter deals. Given the financial instability going forward and not knowing when fans can fill stadiums I think teams will try as many 1 year deals as possible. But I think there’s enough teams with money that the top 5-10 at each position still get paid. For me it looks like a fantastic bargain shopper offseason. We should be used to looking for mid to low tiered free agents who hopefully have untapped potential or coming off injury.

The Mahomes clan article

For as popular as he is, in today’s cancel culture his mom and girl better hush it up a little bit. One wrong tweet and those endorsements might disappear. Never a good look when your girl and your mom are using your fame for their public platforms -

I think a lot of our guys can step up and make more plays if we can get one elite level rusher other teams HAVE to focus on. I’m not worried about modeling Tampa it’s not like they’re some elite defense (however they played a great playoff stretch) They do have guys who elevate the play of others around them. A legit pass rusher makes our other guys look and play better -

I think everyone expected better production. Lot of emphasis on Star not being here but imo that’s not going to change much. We are missing that one impact player on the D line. Similar to how we got Diggs last year that’s what we need for a pass rusher this offseason. As everyone points out the positive thing is Beane gave the team easy outs on most of those contracts so he has a little bit of wiggle room this offseason if he’s eyeing an elite level talent and can acquire one. Grabbing a Khalil Mack or fletcher Cox or anyone elite level who requires constant double teams or will wreak havoc without a double team will make a huge impact for us in my opinion. Our defense in wide receiver terms is we have a bunch of #2’s but we lack that stud #1 to takeover -

They swung and missed on those guys. It’s a risk you take in free agency. They thought they could get more production from those signings and it didn’t work out. I expect they’ll do their best to remedy the problems. -

If buffalo tried to run a similar attacking defense to what Tampa did hill and hardman would of had multiple 50+ yard touchdowns. We do not have the personnel to play aggressive. That’s why halfway through the season we had to constantly try and scheme blitzes and when the blitz didn’t get home we got burnt. We don’t have the dogs to attack in the front 7. -
He was a good player. He might have a little bit left but his price tag won’t be cheap. I agree with warrior I’d rather start Levi.

I think quite a few New England fans switched over the Tampa a couple months ago. The majority of them are bandwagon fans used to winning every year. They’re of course going to jump ship when the team isn’t winning.

But it’s not fully on our guys. A lot of it is scheme. We just drop back and back pedal hoping someone might make the quarterback get rid of the ball. Then when we have no pass rush our guys are left hanging back there. David is fantastic and white looks like he could be great too, they clearly upgrade our defense but they aren’t gonna play like that here. In 3-5 seconds they make great plays. 4-7 seconds like our guys they’ll be left out there in no mans land too. A legit pass rush will make a big difference. That ball needs to come out in less than 4 seconds or this defense will always be trash.

Would the Bills have beaten the Bucs?
Rc2catch replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t know, I think our offense could of moved the ball against them. Maybe not enough to shoot it out, but I don’t think we could of stopped them on defense. I do think our conservative coverage defense would of done better than KCs defense, fournette would of probably had 150 yards though. -
Lol we get it you don’t like him.. Yeah yeah.. They are asked to play aggressive and we ask Edmunds to play conservative. I can agree he plays soft but jeez you guys are relentless with this stuff. Did we ask Edmunds one time to hit Kelce off the line or cover him? No we asked Edmunds to cover the middle of the field.
