  1. I don’t know.. That giant offense is stacked now. Jones obviously needs to play and Barkley and Golloday to stay healthy but that an impressive group of skill players.
  2. Yeah I found it similar to two years ago with AJ Green. Had an injury, practiced a bunch but never hit the field or IR. I feel like the lions kept him out trying to lower his value to re sign him. Maybe they lowered it too much to franchise and trade him vs comp pick.
  3. That’s a lot of coin, but I’m not even sure we’ve seen his best ball yet. Detroit went from a fantastic passing scheme to uhhhh we don’t know how to pass anymore over the last 3 years. If he’s healthy this contract might not look so bad in 2 years
  4. It’s edge and I don’t think it’s all that close. Add in a TJ Watt, a Bosa, Brian Burns kinda player will make all the difference in the world to this defense. Corner suddenly isn’t as big of a need, Edmunds and Milano look way better, speed up the clock on a quarterback and make him get rid of the ball in 3 seconds and all our guys will be looking like all pro level players including the old ends and DT’s
  5. Hard to say. There might be a guy or two sitting around after the draft they might consider. I don’t think we’re getting the impact kinda guy most want
  6. If they were entertaining Gronk, and considering Rudolph, and rumored for Ertz, you gotta know they’re not done exploring. This is the lowest cost signing you can ask for, and it’s not like this guy is useless he has some skills.
  7. At least they’re signing people to fill out the team. You need solid role players as well. Not everything can be big names and contracts. We made our splash signings already keeping our own. Beane always has a plan and a backup plan. He looked into Gronk and Ertz and I’m sure others and at least he got someone while he continues working. Better to have a role player now than nothing later
  8. Especially for him though, he’s worked really hard on dirt cheap contracts. This could be the only opportunity to cash in for multi millions. If he came back on the cheap and had a bad injury he might never see a decent payday (in nfl standards)
  9. You guys really gotta let the Mack thing go. They offered two starters and it was probably fuller and Hicks. The two guys who actually give them cap relief and have been cut and given permission to seek a trade. As soon as Mack restructured he was never leaving this offseason. That said mckenzie would be a nice get for them, they employ a short pass game and enjoy using twitchy gadget kinda guys like Cohen. Given his injury last year they really missed him. Mckenzie at the very least gives them a backup for that role with receiver upside
  10. Rudolph signed with the giants at pretty big money I think for 2 years
  11. Good thing we got 3 guys who are tops in the league getting open in short yardage situations. Seriously though. How many deep balls would anyone complete to Darnell Mooney as Allen Robinson gets triple teamed cause they literally have nobody else NFL worthy at receiver. Shoot if a quarterback in Chicago could even get a throw off and down the field 20 yards without being sacked it’s a win.
  12. He was a class act here. He made decent money, did his job and I think Allen is a better quarterback having him here the last couple years. Best of luck to him in his future.
  13. Of all the worthless threads this is up there. Every team has a couple core special teams guys. Taiwan has some speed it’s not like they CANT use him on offense they just choose not to. I’m not gonna butcher the linebackers name Tyler M lol but even he played decent in spot duty. We let Roberts who can’t contribute on offense go, signed a punter who knows which way the laces face on kicks. Feels like you’re crying just for attention and the sake of trying to be negative.
  14. WOW, that is a crazy cheap price for him
  15. We had a thread weeks ago about signing him as a backup and I think I kinda bashed the idea that he was a possibility for us. I figured for sure San Fran or some of these sketchy quarterback teams would throw him decent money in case their starters floundered. Mitch must of really wanted the time with Daboll and a chance to play on a playoff team if the starter misses time
  16. I read this is sarcasm. @Jauronimo
  17. This is a fantastic signing. He might have trade value later. He’s similar to Allen minus the arm strength. Nice job Beane. I really like this kid and blame Nagy for a lot of his downfall
  18. Cincy makes sense for a few reasons. He needs to prove he’s healthy so it’s best he’s not the only main option on the team so he can take it easy when he’s sore or hurting. They will probably still lose a lot of games, meaning they’ll be throwing a ton trying to stay in it so he’ll see a lot of targets. Popular division with some tough defenses to gain exposure. As a 1 year prove it deal Cincinnati isn’t a terrible idea to increase your value
  19. Stand 3 yards in front of the tight ends so when Cam bounces the pass they can catch it on the first bounce
  20. He’s got some room to grow still imo. Decent coin based on his production thus far though
  21. Read the 30 pages of the Frelund thread and see the chances, or maybe read the 15 pages of pegula jet thread for more chances
  22. They could be in the running now if they snag Watson and grab a decent cornerback or two.
  23. Carolina is building quite a strong defense over there. Chinn plays linebacker at times, they signed perryman and now Reddick, interesting group they’re putting together
  24. Super bowl??? Those 2 yard Tua slant patterns have a high probability of being taken to the house by Foster
