I am very much the same. I browse Facebook to see what family is up to but try very hard to avoid most stuff. I hate the drama stuff
-
I can’t speak for any mods but it’s us that usually ruin the threads by going off topic and name calling etc etc. The covid no no thread is pinned for all to see but dang it we just can’t stop getting in our own way.

Omg I moved to TN like 10 years ago and seriously miss my trips to Pittsburgh for Met/Pirate games and Primantis. Food sucks down south lol

It’s the same people that get these things locked up. Can’t debate respectfully or stay on topic.

Social media is basically dividing everyone including sports. I wish they’d just disable commenting on everything. Post a story or your thoughts and be the end of it. I try very hard to avoid reading all of it. Comment sections are probably the most toxic thing I’ve ever seen. On topic though I agree with yolo that mcd squashes this when they’re in for TC. I think Buffalo is ahead of the curve on this drama, I expect other teams to start having some issues similarly. Hopkins deleted his thing I guess but others seem to be starting to speak out some

Who will the Bills miss most this season?

I voted Marlow, I think it’ll be a monster loss for us if Poyer or Hyde get dinged up -
New NFL-NFLPA Covid protocols

I’m not sure how to respond to that honestly. I only took issue with players losing game checks in the event of a forfeit. -
Yay this should be fun to read later

New NFL-NFLPA Covid protocols
Rc2catch replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I get the forfeit idea after some of the messes last year, what I can’t get is players losing game checks for the forfeit. That’s incredibly dirty for the team not at fault to lose their pay when they did things the right way. I seen up top about possible financial losses having to be covered by an offending team but that didn’t say game checks for players, sounded to me like it’s worded more for the owners to recoup the ticket sales loss -
Is it time to trade off Singletary?
Rc2catch replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That would be highway robbery if anyone gave a 3rd or better and only add to Beanes wizardry. I think 90% of running backs in the league are so easily replaced by off the street free agents. I feel like San Fran can literally sign Frank Gore right now and have him run for 1k in their scheme. I like motor, I think next to Barkley he has the sickest juke in all of the league right now, but I also think you can get the same production from a practice squad running back in most cases. -
We should see Warner’s value this season with Saleh gone. Is he a product of a pretty fantastic defensive line? Scheme? Despite all the injuries they had the D line was still quite good. I think Edmunds might look quite good in their defense as well. I find it hard to compare Edmunds to others because our defense is unlike most in the league. We are rarely in an attack mode and play conservative. I think we’d still be pretty disappointed if we had a Devin white or Wagner in the middle here and no pass rush. This defense is trash unless you can get pressure with 4, if you can’t only the elite coverage guys can survive. I have high hopes our vets and rookies can dominate the D line like Schwartz D line did years back. If we see that I think we see Edmunds game go to a whole new level.

Is it time to trade off Singletary?

Some of y’all have too much free time on your hands. Offseason is boring but I don’t see why every random thought needs a thread. There are plenty of free agent options who are more proven than motor and what’s his worth? Sell him at his lowest possible value? Why would the Rams rush to trade when there will be tons of cuts coming during preseason? -
I don’t think he’s a fit here anymore. We’re good on aging vets about to hit retirement.

I think it was a nice option for some guys last year, that’s all I have to say.

Hard Knocks 2021: Dallas Cowboys
Rc2catch replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know a lot of people have never wanted to see the Bills on hard knocks and in years past I agreed based on our situations. This year I would have really liked to see it though. Not just cause of them winning more now but I would like to see the behind the scenes of cuts and we have some fun characters on the team now too. -
We seem to have some posters on here with a real agenda against him. Edmunds has not been Kuechly or Urlacher but he’s far from bad. I think the expectations were so high at such a young age people think he’s peaked already. Maybe he has. But I can’t find more than 5-6 guys in the league I would prefer over Edmunds. Haters wanna hate.

Which Bill are you rooting for this year?
Rc2catch replied to wagne591's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So many guys to mention, some of the guys I’d like to see hit a new level and succeed would be Edmunds, Knox, Obada. I’d be happy with any of those 3 breaking out and making a real impact -
I’m cool with him taking a stand. I don’t have a side I’m not for or against the vaccine. But I do think it’s cool when people are willing to do what they think is right and are willing to accept consequences to make their stand. Within reason. If he doesn’t agree and can make that choice to not go to work or get removed from the team I can’t fully hate on him. Business will keep it moving with or without him.

Falcons trading Julio Jones to Titans
Rc2catch replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Titans are still the exact same team. Not totally a bad thing they’re a good team. But it’s still the same. Stop Henry, Tannehill cannot carry a game without henry dominating. I’m not sure how many of us watch Tennessee games or just see highlights, cause Tannehill is still a mediocre quarterback. However when Henry has it going EVERYTHING is wide open. Read options where Tannehill gets wonderful runs untouched as the entire defense sells out to stop Henry. Of course we know the play action success. At the end of the day though they are just like Baltimore, stop the run, get a lead and they cannot play from behind. They are a scrappy team and I don’t hate them as much as some, I like what they’ve built minus Tannehill, I have never been impressed with his game.
