  1. Ouch.. Coopers value just went in the trash
  2. I always thought foster mostly benefitted here from the backyard style of football we had to play. Josh not being great reading the field and running for his life almost every play. I’m actually surprised he’s still bouncing around the league. He had a great shot a couple years ago in Green Bay when all their receivers were hurt. They chose to put their running backs at receiver instead of activating foster that game.
  3. Some things never change around here. Same people from months ago still beating their same agendas on basically every thread.
  4. It lines up nicely for them on Herbert’s rookie contract window
  5. I have always been a big fan of shaq and I think he had room to grow before. I was one of the few who wanted his 5th year picked up. I wouldn’t of signed him 3/30 million though lol. He’d obviously be coming back on the cheap after bouncing around and probably not much interest in him.
  6. I’d have a hard time thinking super bowl teams wouldn’t of traded for him and his existing contract. We allowed Beasley to look for a trade? Not the same caliber player but still the same idea. Maybe they did behind the scenes but for a team now in the hunt for a franchise quarterback I’d take all the ammo I can acquire
  7. Why would they release him and not trade him?
  8. He was exactly what he was supposed to be. A backup with starting experience. He’s a really capable player in limited roles. Wish him the best and maybe he returns on a lower salary before the season
  9. I guess it’s fun to speculate but I don’t think Metcalf is actually available. Seattle is not in rebuild mode despite shipping Wilson off. And I cannot believe with all edmunds haters on here that Metcalf got a thread before wagner in fantasy land.
  10. I’m aware. I coulda used better wording after re reading it. I’ll clarify, I don’t think they can acquire an edge via trade, and I don’t think they’d pay the price tag 🏷 on a chandler Jones type contract. So next best thing is to try and get Fletcher Cox in the short term. If you can’t get an elite edge while the current guys develop might as well rush up the gut consistently
  11. I went with other, but I don’t have a name to pair with it really. I think edge is the only splash move needed but those are some seriously costly names above and I don’t believe they’ll spend that much. If I was forced and just made a guess I’d target Fletcher Cox in Philly. They might be one of the few teams with interest in Beasley given how many wiffs they’ve made drafting receivers.
  12. You can’t really count on comp picks for someone like that. He can just as easily flame out and get hurt again which means nobody signs him to any real kind of deal and then no comp pick.
  13. For 7 million and expiring contract. I’m not sending anything. Nobody knows if he’s still a homerun hitter and the injuries are just constant
  14. I expect to see the same concepts on offense. Daboll really is an offensive genius sometimes. His gameday playcalling left a lot to be desired though. Hopefully the new guy can keep a lot of the scheme and make better gameday calls
  15. I can’t knock Indy for trying. They have a Super Bowl roster and have to keep playing musical chairs at quarterback trying to find someone who can just not lose the games for them.
  16. That was the second HUGE Carolina mistake. First was giving up too much compensation to get him. Then picking up his guaranteed fifth year before ever even seeing him in practice.
  17. It will be interesting to see if they tear it completely down like we did. Toney is on a rookie deal, but Beane also cut or traded some guys on rookie deals as well. I found the Jonathan Williams release puzzling I remember. Im not sold they will reset the roster and cap over there. If I had my choice I’d rather have Golloday for like a 4th. He’s often injured but already signed up a couple more years. He’s one of my favorite players but I could understand why a lot of people wouldn’t want him. Leanord Williams next to Oliver sounds fun too but highly unlikely given his monster salary I think he has. Fun topic at least
  18. Levi has been the BEST bargain since the day he came here and started as a rookie as far as salary and production. Look around the league and find a cheaper starter that can play at his level. We know he’s not elite, that he has some limitations to his game. He deserves a really nice pay raise, and it probably won’t be here. He has never been as easily upgradeable as some make it seem.
  19. I picked Teddy. Like to have someone with at least some starting success. Fitz is the romantic pick and I wouldn’t hate it. But we more than likely have Webb and a project kid
  20. I wanted to see Cincy and San Fran once we were eliminated. Revenge game from the Montana Super Bowl with them. Of course there’s not a ton of people old enough to remember that one
  21. For the most part it doesn’t matter imo. The scheme will stay the same on both sides of the ball. It’s not like we’re hiring Vic Fangio and switching to a 3-4. I think Daboll is gonna be a great head coach, I think he’s brilliant at offense, but I have always hated his in game play calls. I think that’s all that changes really if either guy leaves is the in game play calls.
  22. There’s a decent shot he’ll be back. He’s not going to have this robust market with tons of contract offers. He deserves his money but I think he’ll be back with a slight raise in the end.
  23. That was the most heartbreaking loss. Just a terrible way to go out
