On the first Bills Possession (NYG 9/15).......

Hmmmm I’ll take 34 yards over the middle to Knox. -
Does MIA mean missing in action?

I think by the time college ends this season and everyone digs at the tape etc etc Tua will fall some. Plenty of time for guys to jump the line for draft time. I can’t take anyone from Alabama serious at quarterback, such a safe, blah playbook. They run simple schemes and take care of the ball and force other teams to make mistakes because the talent level is so different. They run an NFL level defense but a high school offense. Maybe Tua has some success I don’t want to kill his career before it starts, but #1 overall he is not. We’ll see some of the other guys climb into the conversation. -

Lol who would want him? Alabama quarterbacks aren’t exactly NFL successful. He won’t be the #1 pick -
For me the games always seem to simplify down to 3rd down conversions on both sides of the ball. Stats don’t matter in a lot of areas (thank you fantasy football) Got to get those 3rd downs and defense has to stop them. The 300 yard benchmark lets be honest here, is because we’ve had really pathetic offenses, and when we had an offense that put up those kinds of numbers our defense sucked. We see the saints and all these other teams with just lethal passing attacks and as buffalo fans we wonder why we can’t do that and we run non stop. Jealous ones envy really, we have been behind the change in the league. The league transformed into a passing league through talent and penalty changes and buffalo until recently has never adapted or modernized their offense to copycat some of the successful offenses

He’s always been a pretty average thrower of the ball. I think what we’ve been watching is him trying to transform his game some so he doesn’t run as much. The real elephant in the room is their play calling, they never found any kind of rhythm and their coordinator called a bad game

Jets WR Quincy Enunwa out for the season with neck injury
Rc2catch replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He’s a really good receiver but he’s never healthy. I was glad they signed him up in the offseason so buffalo had no shot. Sucks for him, especially now that his career is in jeopardy. Hopefully he can recover and play again next season -
Diabolical Daboll - Is he our evil genius?
Rc2catch replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I actually really enjoy his passing schemes, he really seems to have a knack for scheming receivers open. -
Jordan Poyer - underpaid? What would you offer?
Rc2catch replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
These are some moves that need to be done especially while we can afford it easily. Make a headline, reward a free agent who signed here cheaply to make a name and made a career of it and got rewarded for his efforts. Win win situation. Rather overpay a proven buffalo bill than some of the free agents. -
Mosley injury, Dabol play calling or both?
Rc2catch replied to BuffaloMatt's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will say one thing, well a few things , I do not like the jets, didn’t like their free agency signings or draft, do not like Darnold. But................ They put their money on the field yesterday and that free agent class kicked our a** for 3 quarters. Mosley holy crap was in on everything and looked amazing, crowder caught what 11-12 balls and nobody could cover him short? Bell was bell and looked good. As much as I hate them I do have to throw them some credit for really utilizing and working in their new weapons, with that said I think Mosley going out obviously changed the game, the tempo and flow. Pretty obvious daboll was scared to run with Mosley in and once he was out the run game came alive, we don’t win that game without singletary showing out. Not sure he shows out with Mosley still in -

I really like the way he plays. -
Edmunds, Oliver & Morse are a great foundation

Last years class was kind of a fluke. I’m not sure what the issue is, they signed “fillers” guys to fill a roster spot for a season. They worked on developing younger talent last season and the signings shouldn’t count as missing because they were only expected to help out for a little while. Almost all the moves the first two years that catch so much flack on here were either filler signings or locker room guys, or hoping for potential. Low risk high reward if you will. They’re building a modern nfl offense and “smurfs” as you like to say are the best receivers in the game now. Shifty fast receivers are the new thing and tall red zone guys are not as high of a priority anymore. They have given Allen plenty of weapons now to run a high powered offense. Can’t ask for much better in year 2 for the kid -
I hope Milano and edmunds eat their wheaties cause Barkley and engram are about as tough a matchup as they’ll get this season.

O-line concerns alleviated...

I’m with you, I was concerned they’d be a mess to start the season. I expected the entire offense to be ugly, which it was for the most part. The line held up 100x better than I expected though -
With what they tried to accomplish the first half throwing non stop, I have a feeling this is the tip of the iceberg on what they’re expecting this offense to do. I have zero doubts they’re looking to morph this into a big play offense. Let’s keep in mind too the jets are not a scrub defense and gave us some easy looks specifically trying to keep plays in front of them and not give up chunk plays.

Are we concerned about Beasley’s hands ?
Rc2catch replied to Teddy KGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think maybe just an adjustment to Allen’s rocket? Beasley does seem to have a bit of a bad trend going though with balls popping up around him. Not concerning at the moment though I think he’s just getting used to Allen -
Bills 17, Jets 16!! Game Balls...
Rc2catch replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What a weird weird game. Couldn’t have gone worse in the first half, then 4th quarter it all comes together. They call that working out the kinks. Allen needs to learn how to use all these weapons and they look deadly when activated -
Bills at the Jets 9/8 First Half Thread
Rc2catch replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kind of worst case start lol.. Love how they are looking to throw but can we hand off just as a change of pace? -
Jets uniforms are fugly

Apples and oranges there, Steelers had his rights, had to trade him for the best package available and of course the trading team had to sign him long term and fork over the cash. Lot of working pieces. Now if the raiders cut him, he’s a street free agent who could possibly be had for a league minimum deal on a one year rental. Almost every team in the league would take a flier on possibly the best receiver in the league despite the drama. They can cut him at any point for zero penalties.
