  1. That’s not what I said. Or what was said. Please go back and read. Someone mentioned the thread was moved when trump and Epstein were being discussed. Which is obviously going to turn focus from the actual Kraft discussion. When the Kraft issue began we had like 50 pages on it. So it’s not like we can’t discuss his case. But it’s always going to get ugly if you bring real life political figures and issues into it. It no longer is a football topic
  2. Yeah Jay Gruden was really churning out some pro bowl quarterbacks in Washington. They had an extremely innovative offense ????
  3. Really? Obviously we know more. Did you see megatron out there today? We need to discuss this further why he’s not been active. I’m sure there’s 1-2 points of view nobody has seen yet. A new thread will definitely cover those 1-2 ideas
  4. I knew you’d be starting another negative thread today. Hey, maybe Daboll will get the Panthers job, then we can hire one of the awesome offensive coordinators who just got fired this year. I heard Jason Garrett has an offensive background. Oh and that kid Kellen Moore probably won’t have a job either. Norv Turners son? Anybody but the terrible guy who tried everything he could do to knock us out of the playoffs.
  5. Oh goodness.. Now Duke is on par with devante Parker? I don’t think anyone actually disagrees he should have been active for game days. But wow you guys are really relentless
  6. Plenty of places to see disrespectful nasty political talk. This isn’t one of them. We can barely discuss football on a decent level here. Politics do not belong because people cannot play nicely
  7. Politics should always be removed out of here.
  8. Hard to say.. They churned out no name late round linemen like a champion there under Rivera. Their biggest problem was horrible contracts. Bouncing gm’s and they were handing ridiculous money to average at best players and also paying big money to veterans past their prime. I don’t think Beane had much to do with that. His role I think was more in the draft than cap management but his time here so far says he learned quite a bit from the Carolina mistakes with the cap. One thing is for sure, like them or not we definitely took their two best up and comer guys and their organization has paid the price. Rivera’s biggest mistake was trying to force them into a 3-4 this year. And kuechly as great as he is was not made for the 3-4. I would love to see Beane take Kuechly off their hands for a 1st and maybe Kroft to replace Greg Olsen if/when he retires this year. Kuechly may not have a ton of playing time left with that concussion history but I sure would like to see him inside with Milano and Edmunds kicked outside of him. Yikes. Sorry my nephew is a monster Carolina fan and we chat trades a lot I know it’s a pretty unlikely scenario
  9. Tough to say. He’s playing the duke Johnson receiver role in Cleveland and they have Chubb so his rush attempts aren’t there this season. He’s like 3 years out from his one good season. Be tough to pay him big bucks and/or give up a pick to bring him here. Risky move.
  10. You can’t predict Dillon is going to have a Derrick Henry kind of impact. You get what you pay for sometimes. At least with Henry you know what he brings to the table and even for being in the league 4 years he doesn’t have the normal wear and tear. Im sure Beane will be exploring a back to pair with motor
  11. I would pay Henry big bucks.. Beane seems to give himself an inexpensive out after two years in most of these contracts. We could easily give him 8-10 million for a year or two and not be hurt at all. There’s been mixed reports if Tennessee is going to pay him or let him walk. Drafting is fine but throwing one dart doesn’t always work out. There is no sure thing that every running back drafted is going to produce. I have never been a Hunt fan, not sure he’ll ever replicate what he did in KC that one season
  12. I hate to see them fire the GM not that I’m a fan of his but he looks to have drafted pretty good over there. Kitchens never had a chance of running that team even without the personalities. They needed a veteran coach with some fire to keep those boys in line.
  13. Hated the marrone hire. Hated his attitude with the media. Hated his gutless coaching style. Hated that he quit because we got stuck with Rex Ryan. I don’t blame him for taking his money. I just never liked anything about him. Pretty sure he’s done coaching at the pro level. That record is UGLY.
  14. It’s a no brainer to acquire him, until you consider how many draft picks you’re giving away. If it was a salary dump situation for one first rounder or mid to late round pick sure. This deal will require multiple 1’s along with other picks or players and that’s just not smart for our future. I like the odds of buffalo being better continuing to add impact players and replacements for aging veterans via the draft. They can still possibly land an impact player via a trade, I don’t think Beane would be scared to burn a first on an elite level player at this point. I feel like the rams know they’re in big trouble with the roster construction and trading Donald kinda restocks the cupboard for rookie contracts and up and coming players and gives them a little cap relief.
  15. Shame they’re going to the playoffs or you could really throw a good temper tantrum ??? I mean if they actually got to the super bowl and won and their quarterback only had 170 yards passing it shouldn’t even count. Asterisk that trophy roger!!!!!! I will hush now. No point debating with anyone who has this extreme of tunnel vision. Enjoy the crusade.
  16. Love it.. Happy to see you stick to your guns and have blind faith in that roster. Sorry buddy you’re not actually that talented over there and that was obvious to everyone but Jet fans before the season. That offensive line was never going to survive . Not sure any coach is taking that roster to the playoffs. Good news is you get a decent draft pick AGAIN to take the best defensive linemen you can find so you can keep the revolving door going ??? Seriously though you are the most entertaining troll I’ve seen visit us
  17. Why does it matter? There’s lots of ways to win football games. Everyone is judged off wins and losses and the postseason. Not stats. If he’s a winning quarterback on a winning football team why do the stats matter? We’ve all seen Allen good and bad. Do you doubt he can go out and sling it all over and put up stats? I mean Kyle Allen and Gardner Minshew have done it with worse weapons and worse coaching you don’t think Allen can? Can we agree after last season Allen made tons of mistakes? And this season he has vastly improved on it? Is it wrong to protect him and his confidence while he’s learning the game at the pro level? Adding more and more into his game as he develops? At some point he needs to be able to takeover a game throwing the ball. Is it better to force it on him now while the team is winning? Is that good development? I am quite critical of Allen and I’m still not sold he can take it to the next level, but this offense struggles to execute the easiest of things at times and that falls on everyone. If they can’t execute basic plays why on earth would you force even more pressure on him to open things up? How many times do we have a bad pass? A bad drop? A dumb penalty? An offensive line breakdown? And that’s on some basic passing plays. I just don’t get why you push and push over this and ignore everything that doesn’t fit into your idea of what you want to see. There’s 20 people telling you a million reasons why your philosophy is not good yet you refuse to even agree to disagree. You just want to be right and sorry that’s not a debate or healthy discussion it’s just ignorant.
  18. That was kind of my point. They opened up the playbook and put the game on him in his 4 years and even though he has 300-400 yard games they are not successful. That’s what it sounds like the OP wants. Regardless of development just put the game on Allen sink or swim like Tampa did to Winston regardless of game flow. I wasn’t using them as a successful comparison. He keeps referencing Kansas City and other high powered offenses that are successful airing it out but he conveniently leaves out bad teams and teams who ruined their quarterbacks progress by putting too much on them too soon.
  19. Quinn has been there like 6 years or something. Maybe more. I’m too lazy to google it. He’s changed coordinators almost yearly cause everyone needs a scapegoat Yeah Kyle shanahan left lol.. He was the only success they’ve had
  20. Oh man I would seriously be flipping out if I was an Atlanta fan. They are just wasting that roster away with this guy. They have been hot garbage almost every season under him minus when shanahan was there. How you gonna hire and then continue to retain your defensive coach when the defense is horrible almost every season? Yet the offense is stacked with weapons and they still underachieve every season almost. I think Atlanta fans need to buy a billboard ?? remember those day’s
  21. Once again I’ll use Winston for example. They have clearly opened up the playbook for him and exposed him his first 4 years. Has that made him better or worse? Is the team better or worse? They have Evans Godwin and Howard and sling it all over. Has that helped Winston progress into a better quarterback? They have had 2 separate coaches and Arians obviously isn’t that bad at calling an offense, yet both coaches got about the same results. Is that the approach you want for the young quarterback? We can’t win games unless you are perfect passing the ball because the defense and running game are not going to keep us in it.
  22. Basically it sounds like you want us to be the new Tampa bay buccaneers. Air it out all over the field non stop and ignore the other facets of the game. Cause all your arguments don’t make me think of Kansas City or LA they make me think of the Winston led Bucs. I feel duped you started this topic and basically just wanted to argue we’ve made the wrong hires and Allen can’t succeed with this staff. Tampa has a high powered passing attack and poor defense and Winston has 400 yard games not 300. Would that suit your narrative better?
  23. I’ll bite. If we had a Kansas City trajectory of a top offense and mediocre to poor defense we would be a much more exciting team and definitely we would be higher on the national spotlight. However I am very in the “defense wins championships” category. Come playoff time the best teams play a complete game. You have to be able to run, make key throws and play solid defense. Sometimes we can do all 3. Some teams cannot. Unless you’re in a shootout the offensive juggernauts tend to bog down in the playoffs. When each possession counts a little more and more pressure is put on and you are guaranteed to get defenses A game it’s much harder to execute all these plays. I would like more offense from buffalo. But I wouldn’t want it at the expense of having some rag tag defense that allows most games to be a shootout. I like where we are. The offense has been pretty ugly and inconsistent but in my opinion that’s an advantage come playoff time. They have every chance to pull a bit of a rope a dope in the playoffs. How can teams game plan for an offense that nobody has a clue they can execute? There’s a lot of film on what the bills struggle against but let’s be honest we have beat it to death, couple key throws or plays here and there and we’re winning almost every game this year. Give me the A+ Bills defense we have seen most games this year and an offense that is nowhere near hitting their potential. Daboll is mind boggling at times but he’s also done a lot of good here. I do not know if he’s holding Allen back in his development, I’m not a professional only the guys inside the coaches rooms can say for sure. All I can say is the tape is there for the playoff defenses and for the bills offense to see. I cannot believe they are so dumb they don’t have ideas on how to fix this in the playoffs. And the conspiracy theorist in me would also like to believe they have intentionally slow played things a little bit specifically for this playoff run. We have complained for weeks how the playcalling and offense is being ran. This is not the offense we seen the first half of the season. Since Dallas when the playoffs were basically a lock the offense has backed off on a lot of what was successful and they’ve still hung in every game. I do believe there’s another gear tucked away to this thing based on some of what we seen in the preseason.
  24. I mentioned something similar the other day. With the Bills heading into the playoffs and being on tv a bunch we may have made some new fans who may come here to visit and see what we’re like. And any new fan on here would be thinking holy cow they’re a playoff team and it’s this negative, wonder how bad it was on all the losing seasons ? Any loss brings out the haters on here who tend to hide when we win or certain players look good on game day. But a loss, now it’s time to shine for some lol they put their GM cap on and tell us why they knew better than to draft guys, coach hats to tell us what we’re doing wrong. It does bring some entertainment and good debates though especially on the slow days
  25. Fun prediction thread to bump.. Youse guys traded your best player ???
