They have both really played and played well on bargain contracts for the team. I would like to see them back but I can also see each guy wanting that huge deal after playing on outdated contracts. I think it would be much easier to replace or even upgrade Poyer than Hyde.

I still want Derrick Henry but I just can’t see how Tennessee lets him out the door. Guy is special. I don’t have much of a wish list. I’d rather wait and see what cuts are out there and I think Beane won’t be afraid to dangle that first round pick this year and possibly next year to land a true elite impact player rather offense or defense. I would rather trade our 1st for Diggs than throw the brinks truck at Amari Cooper. Just my selfish nature but I would really like Robert Woods back too. Should be an exciting offseason league wide regardless. Lot of teams in really bad cap trouble so there’s going to be a lot of crazy trades and cuts

Early on for free agency the pool doesn’t look amazing. But you could see a lot of guys to be had later. I’d watch for someone like everson griffin in Minnesota. Older but productive. Be a costly 2-3 year deal while Johnson or another rookie work behind.

After the mess he caused in Carolina I could totally see why Rivera would want to avoid him. I do find it puzzling he’d consider Washington. Maybe a posturing move to get another team to come in with a crazy offer Yeah I’m not sold on jones at all. But whatever coach takes the job will have to be sold on him.

It’s an attractive job. But a difficult one. Any coach stepping into a team with a promising rookie quarterback and a second year beast like Barkley it looks promising to add pieces to. Issue is Gettleman at GM and a very poor defense. But quarterback and running back are two solid foundation building pieces if a coach is sold Jones is the real deal.

I don’t have a knock against the guy but I really hope we’re not the team to pay him. I don’t get the fascination. His sacks this year are against bad teams. Stat wise he’s almost invisible against good teams. He doesn’t have a lot of TFL or even QB hits. Shaq Lawson looks better all across the board if we’re going by stats and has trended up every year. We’re going to pay this guy elite pass rusher money? He’s not an elite pass rusher. This goes against what a large majority of fans have cried about for years. Letting our own guys walk to sign someone at a higher price tag with less production.

If buffalo is running to the Super Bowl I want to beat the ravens and chiefs. I don’t want to hear any excuses about a bad patriot team blah blah blah KC and Baltimore are the obvious top 2 so I’d rather beat them both. Tall task.

I liked Rivera, kinda scratching my head on this one. Doesn’t seem like a good job for him to take for lots of reasons.

Definitely looks to be teams playing from behind and a mix of bad run games. Crazy to see Dak and Winston both teams needing to make monster financial decisions to keep them or not on losing teams.

I was quite adamant last season was his peak. Even as a rookie. That’s as good as baker can play. Of course I can be wrong, but I just never seen anything special from him. His best wasn’t THAT good. Just a smaller Tannehill in my opinion. But I could always be wrong, I’m no professional and his career isn’t over. But wow did he take a huge step back this year.

But but but he set the rookie touchdown record. Star in the making. Can make all the throws. Pro ready.

We also had Tyrod, and for all his faults he wasn’t tossing up 50/50 balls all game like duck and he did get us quite a bit of rushing first downs. It’s a bit of a wash. But a similar thing in coaches getting the most from their players

That’s an extremely big ask. A lot of coordinating and some seriously angry fans. I think Philly fans would rather watch them beat up the giants for an easy division title vs giving the cowboys an actual shot at winning the division. It would be a last ditch kinda effort to save ratings if things ever got REALLY BAD

They lost their #1 quarterback, running back, tight end and receiver for stretches. I mean this isn’t even a conversation if their defense wasn’t so good. The D got them the record mostly. But a lot of those guys playing skill positions are barely practice squad worthy.

What Tomlin did this year is very similar to me what Mcdermott did year one here. Taking a group of rag tag backup practice squad level players on offense and a solid defense and getting the very most from them and competing to back into a wildcard spot. I would be shocked to see him fired.

I’ll go out on a limb and pick Lynn in LA. I don’t think it’s cause he’s a bad coach, as an organization they are just in a weird place. Rivers is probably done there. Is it smart to actually sign him back up for them? Obviously Gordon is probably done there. Do they resign Ekeler? Keenan Allen is a little older. Hunter Henry? Worth money or always injured? Lynn made one mistake that I know of playing Gordon so much when Ekeler is just light years ahead of him this season. It’s a team to watch. And a team that is in a very crucial crossroads. I can see wanting to go in a fresh direction if they’re letting some of those players above walk. I can also see wanting to pair a new coach with a new quarterback. Once again I like Lynn. I don’t think he deserves to be fired. But I think he could be based on where the chargers are at.

Oh I remember that. Roman got serious abuse here. It was never Tyrod or the D it was always Roman can’t design passing plays etc etc. He was getting crushed on here. I still think he’s a one trick pony lol, but he was absolutely last on the list of things wrong here at that time.

Buddy that’s EXACTLY what was said. Just like I said in the title Parker just abused Gilmore all day, he was more physical and went up and over him to high point many catches. There is only one player on the Bills that can do that same thing who is hungry and plays like beast mode I never said he should be on the bench. Maybe I missed in the other 20 threads but I’ve never seen anyone say he should be on the bench. At some point you guys have got to stop beating the same drum over and over and over. Those coaches are paid millions of dollars to make these decisions. If they’re wrong too much they get fired. Mcdermott has something to lose. We do not. Have a little faith in the guy. Have to make mistakes in order to fix them. Maybe duke being inactive is a big factor in record or game plans or just situations. But they chose to bench him. They may be wrong. We won’t know.

But if trump and Epstein are brought into it by someone it will turn and won’t stay about Kraft. It will spiral into tons of other things. I highly doubt anyone on here would not want to have fun discussions of Kraft being scum and possible penalties for him and his team for the cheating and felony charges etc etc. I think we can all get behind that kind of conversation and have fun with it especially when new news trickles out about it. It just gets ugly when political figures are brought into these topics. I don’t know the specific thread and I didn’t read it, who knows maybe the mod team was going to bed and killed the thread and moved it to avoid 100 pages of fighting and insults before the next mod is on lol. I have no clue honestly. I could just be a dummy since I was only speculating on what was said in this thread and once certain names were mentioned it made sense why the thread would be moved or closed to me.

You clearly miss the point. Keep mentioning trumps name and watch what happens. I don’t care either way nor do I do politics or even vote. Neither here nor there. I’m no mod. Fact is... people do not discuss these things in a civil matter. It ALWAYS turns ugly and nasty. You point to the mod team wanting things hidden. Yet fail to acknowledge US, the members of this board do not know how to act proper in any discussion involving political figures. We are the ones who ruin the conversations by going off topic.
