I’m still not sold on him. However Seattle was the perfect landing spot and a big reason for his early success. Russel Wilson creates some amazing chances for his guys. What that said metcalf is better than what many claimed. He’s not our missing piece though. Just my opinion on it

Possibly my biggest beef of the game was the swing pass to Singletary. They threw it on the first drive and it was a great gain. I have been begging for it all year. Then they faked it multiple times after and Allen ran with it with varied success. But why never throw it again, they could not cover Devin in the flat. The actually executed a couple screens. And there was a lot of mind boggling calls and decisions but the one that killed me most was the bomb to DiMarco when smoke was wide open 20 yards in the middle. I’m ok with the loss, I was hopeful but not confident they had the talent to beat some of the powerhouses, but after what they did all season long that was the worst possible way to lose a game. Which makes it sting much more.

And what exactly would be the point? Games over. This ain’t the New Orleans kind of play that sealed the game and a trip to the super bowl. The refs were bad. And they definitely hosed us on some calls. In the end buffalo lost that game. They deserved the loss. They played like crap. They coached like crap. The NFL is not going to change. I’m not even sure they can fix the officiating at this point unless we review everything.

I am hoping Brees can do it. He deserves another ring. Helluva career. I would not hate Rodgers getting another ring, not his biggest fan but I respect Green Bay fans and how they run their organization. Im not quite ready for the new wave of Mahomes and Lamar to hold the trophy. I don’t want any of the AFC teams winning, if I had to pick one I’ll cheer for Tennessee since it’s technically my “home team”

I absolutely could not read a jets board. Jets fans in my experience have some of the lowest football IQ of any team. They generally just run with whatever the media says

This is gonna be a long offseason lol. He’s not the first coach to do things this way. Coaches progress as well. Just like players. Our core players are young guys. They’ll all grow together. Or they’ll be gone in a couple years. Sorry to burst your bubble but mcdermott ain’t going nowhere for at least two more seasons. Might as well deal with it and accept it, or I don’t know complain for two more years.

I’m all aboard the Henry train. But Tennessee is never letting him leave after what he’s done this season. Normally you’re right. Except this time. Go take a peak at Henry’s carries per season since entering the league. He’s not a normal back he doesn’t have the wear on his body. This is his first season handling the load. And look what he did. He’s got 2-3 years left of elite play

All fan bases have bad ones but seeing stuff like this and a few tidbits from our board tonight is pathetic. Over a game. Those guys are there to do a job, and are paid very nicely for it, but that kind of stuff is over the line.

He made that throw across his body to singletary tonight to pickup that third down was more what I was referencing.

I think basically everyone on the team, minus singletary is to blame. They all had lapses and issues throughout the game. It was an epic meltdown.

Apologies. The original comment I replied to stated they may need to move on to another quarterback or something like that. A lot of the young guys make dumb plays. We seen Watson throw a few telegraphed ugly ones. Mahomes does it all the time. I’m not sold on Allen but I do see progression. So I drink some koolaid as long as I continue to see it. Lot of blame to go around for this debacle I just can’t put much on him.

This will be a fun thread. The jury is still out on him. The good Allen is absolutely a franchise quarterback. He can make throws only Mahomes and maybe Russel Wilson can. The bad Allen is too inconsistent to have success in this league. Given his demeanor and work ethic and what he has already improved on I don’t see any reason he’s done growing.

That 3rd down play that they reviewed to give a first, he looked down to me at 32 seconds. After replay there was 21 left. I thought the clock would be stopped the second he’s down and it went to review. Was weird

He was making throws that he’s missed all year. How many times have we seen the easiest of throws 4 feet above the guys head? Or bounced 2 feet in the dirt? He was hitting those today and kept the chains moving the whole first half. He was in rhythm throwing better than I have seen him. There were a lot of weird and bad plays. But overall I came away very impressed with his first half. He was putting throws in good places. It didn’t last. He got out of rhythm. But even as bad as the terrible series and sacks were I seen nothing that said he needs to be replaced.

That’s about as solid of a statement anyone will see

These are the sad takes. He’s not polished but come on that kid left it all on the field. Good and bad. Of all the terrible things that went wrong in that game Allen is the last one to blame. He played possibly his best half ever in the first. They tucked tail in the second half. Nobody watched that game and said “wow the bills are going to need a quarterback”

There will be a lot of pain on this board the next few weeks . I’m not looking forward to listening to some of these guys beat the same dead horse non stop until free agency

I would like to take a minute and say it was a crazy game. Thanks to the mods on here keeping things in check. We have a lot of work to do in the offseason. Emotions are crazy after such an insane game. After taking my blood pressure medicine and a few deep breaths I look forward to debating all of you on free agency and the draft. Fun season. Frustrating season. No reason to think the arrow isn’t pointing up though.

That was the worst loss I’ve seen since the Atlanta super bowl. Heart breaker for sure
