  1. I will go a more realistic option and leave the top names off the board. It’s easy to pick the best available and lets be real, we will be incredibly lucky to land 1 of them. Some of you guys are crazy thinking we’re getting 2-3 of the top 20 free agents. I would target Devontae Booker at running back, but would like them to sign 2. So I’ll add Carlos Hyde and a low round draft pick. I would target Tajae Sharpe from Tennessee who has flashed some in the past. Would also like 2 at this position but one free agent and one drafted. Possibly George Fant if Seattle don’t bring him back. I definitely want Aqib Talib on a short deal. Breeland looked decent last night but I don’t have too much of an opinion for him. I like Quinn, Ogbah and of course I want lawson back. And I would like to add Gerald McCoy as well.
  2. I think we’re a little hard on these guys and how they play. In certain ways it was kind of the first real year as a team. Allen wasn’t a rookie anymore and was throwing to mostly all new players. We had to incorporate a ton of new players into the offense. We lacked some depth at key positions. Lot of reasons they didn’t gel and play consistently and put teams away. Mcdermott and Daboll deserve some blame of course but they were better than I expected record wise given the influx of new talent. I expect much better next season. I expect a less conservative approach. We are going to of course be adding in some more talent but our key pieces on both sides of the ball are no longer rookies and inexperienced they are battle tested veterans now. There is zero reason the offense can’t take a big jump for next season barring key injuries. Lot of glass empty guys on here and I get it, but the reality is this team once again outperformed expectations. I do not recall very many members thinking we had a Super Bowl run possibly in this team in preseason. And certainly on the national stage very few were expecting playoffs and contending for this division until December. As fans we are greedy but there is an awful lot to be excited for. We are now a top 5 contender for the AFC for the foreseeable future. We can hang with KC and Baltimore with our offense playing better. For the negative people yeah maybe we won’t take the next step but that’s a whole separate topic that involves blowing up the team some
  3. 17 seems to be a weird number. Shorten preseason to two games, make the schedule 18 games. Work in 2 bye weeks maybe for players, or allow more players active on game days. I’m no schedule pro but adding one game doesn’t seem impressive
  4. I always expect the quarterback to get that award. Jacobs probably deserved it, but in all honesty if Murray was hurt I think Minshew would of got it. Quarterbacks always get the love. Especially the #1 overall pick. I don’t agree with all the awards but the selections don’t surprise me
  5. We might as well sign Witten at least he stays healthy and brings good press behind him.
  6. Spot on. He’s got to be in serious danger.
  7. I sadly can’t find that info either. Would be useful info for sure.
  8. The lack of execution is probably the biggest thing that stuck out to me. I remember a couple attempts where Allen just totally ruined the rhythm of the play and tossed it out so fast. Couple other attempts with the opposing defenses having it sniffed out almost immediately. I also seem to remember them trying 1-2 for Knox where he lined up on the left, motioned right and it was meant to be a screen that ended ugly. I could be wrong but I feel like the only successful one we got was for singletary and was a huge gain in the Houston game but my god was it an ugly setup for it.
  9. I haven’t been to a bills game at new era/Ralph in quite a long time. But I have been to a lot of current stadiums and I know fans love new era however it’s not even as nice as some college stadiums. It is long overdue to build a new one. I see the pros and cons from both sides and it makes sense from both sides but it needs to be done. I hate to see ticket prices increase and food etc etc but it’s long overdue to happen. My opinion doesn’t count as much, I’m no longer living in New York, paying taxes, going to games so I fully sympathize for those it affects long term. I always liked the idea of a retractable roof stadium. And in certain cold weather opening the roof for the hometown “advantage” Long time ago I wanted it moved outside Lewiston. From what I hear that area is now much more populated and doesn’t sound like it could survive the traffic. I can’t blame the league for pressuring for something to happen though. Pegulas can do whatever they want but long term a new stadium is better than doing more renovating.
  10. I feel like this should be a weekly thing. I might actually have more respect for Brady seeing him read these all the time ??
  11. I thought I read he was open to coming back another season for someone already. I don’t think he’ll be back here, but I do think he still has some effectiveness to his game. As with many players on offense I don’t think we utilized his skill set very well at times and that had fans turning on him extremely fast. He is obviously slowing down but given the right play calls and offense I still believe he can get you those 3-4 yards most every play. He’s just no longer effective at making a play when it’s not there anymore. Obviously that’s what we need the most and why singletary was so effective.
  12. He’s definitely ring chasing if he’s playing one more year. We’re good, but I don’t think we’re free agent Super Bowl good. I don’t blame him for wanting out of Carolina. Between Rivera leaving/fired, keuchly retiring, the uncertainty of what they’re doing with Cam, no reason a vet wants to play their last season there. I’m not saying we’d have no shot, but don’t see the upside in him being here. He’s injured as much as he plays. I can see a reduced role in Kansas City backing up Kelce on the cheap, a decent one year deal in Green Bay after they cut graham. Seattle. Lot of good situations for what he may want.
  13. Don’t forget Delanie Walker hanging out on IR ready for next season too. Titans have some decent players for sure
  14. They have flaws as most staffs do. I am confident they’re aware and Mcdermott strikes me as the kind of guy who is constantly trying to improve in everything he does in life. I expect he watches his film, I expect he’s not surrounded himself with YES men who won’t call him out on stuff. As our offense grows and gains his trust I think we’ll see more aggression
  15. I am no Watkins fan, I never liked him, however this organization was a dumpster fire the few years he was here. I can’t blame him for wanting out and not liking the situation he was put in.
  16. Lol yes, but it was a ridiculous contract just to make sure he didn’t wrestle for a different company. Not like it hurts them to spend but kinda crazy still
  17. I think it’s a topic mostly overblown by us fans. Maybe some of the young “flashy” kinda guys want to party in Florida or Cali or wherever.. But we’re talking grown men in their late 20’s early 30’s most of those guys are done partying and going out all the time and have started their families. And there’s plenty of blue collar working guys who would enjoy the hunting and outdoor stuff in the surrounding areas. The biggest knock is just New York State itself, the taxes and stigma of it being such a terrible state.
  18. @T master Outrageous contracts to players? Shame on you. Football players are destroying their bodies and brains to entertain you and are not even close to fairly compensated. Have you ever seen a baseball contract? Basketball? Shoot even wrestling, the WWE just gave a 46 year old guy a 3 year 9 million dollar contract to wrestle FIVE times a year. Hockey and NFL players are highly underpaid for what happens to their bodies.
  19. If Brees retires I don’t care what any sources or reports say they’ll keep hill and teddy B. Until it happens I can not believe they would put all their eggs in hill as the franchise quarterback.
  20. I think they have already began the transition the last two years. Establishing a better run game with Michel and the short pass game with white and Edelman. I think that’s the offense they’ll go with regardless if it’s Brady or another non mobile quarterback. I have also guessed a few times they may trade for cam newton or sign Mariota and try their own version of the Baltimore wildcat offense and mimic them. The way they have tried to run the ball and play solid defense should keep them in the hunt with or without Brady.
  21. I’m not knocking him, I haven’t watched him closely to see if he’s any good or not. But, can we name one offensive lineman to come out of New England and be successful? I even did a quick look just to kinda reference it but every lineman I find from there is terrible after.
  22. Thuney might be a good guard. But I am NEVER paying a patriot offensive lineman. Has anyone ever left there from the O line and been good? There is monster free agent busts on patriot linemen. Something about New England and that line seems to work there but the guys fall off a cliff when they leave. Is it the refs letting them hold non stop? Just the scheme? I do not know. I would not pay top dollar for any linemen from that team though.
  23. Oh my.. Their fans must be irate. Not sure I’ve seen a more hated coach from a fan base not only keep his job but be promoted. He gets them to the playoffs but ugh he’s very underwhelming to me
