  1. I don’t agree with that. All across the league you see no name guys out of nowhere who can make some plays. No they are not upper level starter caliber players but come on they weren’t used or targeted for multiple games. Yet the eagles can trot practice squad no names out to make plays. Some of those guys flashed in the past like foster the year before and Kroft in his 60 catch season.
  2. Depends.. Not that I support that philosophy much but I’m also not sold on deploying Allen in a Saints/Chiefs kinda pass attack. I do think he needs more weapons, but I also don’t think they tried to use more weapons this past season. It was smoke/Beasley/Knox and that was it. They didn’t even look to use anyone else most of the time. That makes me believe Daboll and Mcdermott hinge the success on the run game and are not overly concerned with lots of pass game options.
  3. Many disagree but I actually think this is a close to likely scenario. This is a ground and pound philosophy with deep play action team rather we like it or not. Trying to emulate the chiefs lethal pass attack is what most want but I’m not sure that’s the direction they are building. Hope I’m wrong and they do add more weapons though
  4. You didn’t even include the announce teams for each game.. slacker... I kid I kid.. I still look forward to watching these games, so they’ve kept my interest longer than the AAF
  5. While I agree we need more firepower I think as fans we might be disappointed when it’s all said and done. Of course I want to grab an elite veteran talent via free agency or trade, but we may end up with just another mid tier guy. I’m also not sold they will spend a first on a receiver if the top 2-3 guys are gone. What we want them to do and what they may do could be entirely different. Which of course will be riot status after the draft on here
  6. That was a no brainer for Chicago I don’t particularly like either player much and don’t see either fitting into buffalos plans. Just my 2 cents
  7. 66 pressures of the quarterback is no joke. Sign him up for a couple years
  8. This was the scenario I’ve been dreaming of for the offseason. Buffalo has to make this move if it’s available. Game changing elite talent. Diggs fits this offense perfect.
  9. Thanks for the education. I prefer my money to stay in my pocket though. I don’t waste cash on silly bets
  10. His name is bigger than his game. But to give credit where it’s due the 3-4 games he actually is 100% healthy for each season are quite impressive. His name is bigger than his game. But to give credit where it’s due the 3-4 games he actually is 100% healthy for each season are quite impressive. As for the post. I’m signing jack Conklin and trading for deandre Hopkins but I can’t draft anyone cause I haven’t scouted as low as we’d be picking if he traded for Hopkins
  11. Few injuries and contract disputes change the whole list. Can’t put too much stock in those lists. Only game that matters is the next game.
  12. I’m sure there’s a lot, off the top of my head I guess.. The old dream team philly Eagles.. The 2018 Steelers. 2019 browns. 3 extremely talented teams. Media jumped on them and they crumbled with the non stop pressure. ‘18 Steelers specifically with bell sitting out. Every practice, every game, every reporter wanted to know how the team feels about bell. Anyone who responded was on ESPN all day the next day. Every game, would they be winning more with Bell etc etc.. Teams don’t want all that extra attention. Players and coaches don’t want the hassle of discussing one player non stop and every little aspect of him. Is he in shape? Is he practicing hard? Does he have a rapport with the quarterback? Look what the media did to the Raiders on top of them being on hard knocks as well. Gruden and Mayock has to discuss browns frost bitten feet everyday for weeks. Then the barrage of releasing him. I get it, brown has game changing elite talent. He’s in an upper category from Tebow and Kaep, but to me it’s the same thing. Teams wouldn’t touch those guys because of the media that follows them. If you’re New England. Or New Orleans or another established program the risk isn’t as bad. But for a team building and trying to establish themselves it’s a very unneeded distraction. For the most part this entire topic is probably completely pointless, he’s still being investigated for the sexual whatever he is accused of, which was considered a probable suspension already. Now he’s facing new criminal charges over the battery or whatever his actual charges are over the moving company. It’s extremely possible the league suspends him longer than a year. And they won’t rule on it until a team signs him i believe. So he’d be looking at being signed, then put on the exempt list or whatever while they finish investigating, then a crazy punishment after. The NFL doesn’t want him back after what he has done the last year. They have plenty of stars they don’t need him or the negative press either.
  13. Oh I fully agree they’re in a terrible spot cap wise. I can’t see them cutting the young guys. I could see Mack cut or restructured. Definitely could see Schaub gone, maybe Cardale can get the backup job? I don’t follow them closely enough to know Hoopers value to them but they could find the money to keep him around if he’s important to them.
  14. The media can absolutely destroy teams. But if you can’t see that already there’s no point in me going on about it. I call everyone buddy. Sorry if you don’t like that. There’s a block button and you’ll never have to see it again. I will drop it and agree to disagree. Enjoy your evening.
  15. He was with New England one game buddy. And they targeted him quite well for the snaps he played. NOBODY wants that media circus. Not just Buffalo. Tim Tebow Kaep Add Antonio Brown to the list. Players who have potential to play but are not worth the media headache that follows them. Seriously it’s not like you have an original idea here or something, guy has been a free agent all this time and nobody is even sniffing around him for a contract. Hmmmm wonder why.
  16. That was my original thought, upon further review they can make quite a few releases/restructures to free a lot of money up though. I think Alex Mack was like 7-8 million to cut, that’s hoopers contract right there. Schaub saves them like 2-4 million to cut. Few decent deals they can save money with
  17. It would be a daily hot topic and a 24/7 media circus. Every bad throw, bad game, shoot even good game.. They would be hounding everyone all the time for quotes. Nothing the team accomplished would even be acknowledged any success would be instant Antonio brown. And bad games would immediately be why can’t they get him the ball more. It would just be a circus, even worse than the browns last offseason, or the dream team eagles of years ago.. Just a headache for all involved
  18. The risk is the insane media hounding everyone all day everyday. I mean first he is probably suspended for quite some time when/if he signs somewhere. Second is the constant pressure from the media. Every practice, every game. So we really need a guy who will throw temper tantrums when we’re winning 24-10 in the 4th quarter cause his stats don’t look good? In the end the TEAM doesn’t need every national reporter bothering every player fishing for a steamy quote to blow up Twitter.
  19. I thought the level of play was much better last week. I expected defense to be far ahead of the offenses but today’s games were a step back for sure.
  20. Yeah that was ugly.. Mcgloin is a baby. And definitely not a very good quarterback. DC looks like the real deal for this league
  21. I didn’t scroll through 20+ pages to see if this was on here.. But super funny. For me anyways. The former NFL tight end white boy schooled Antonio brown on how to make a rap song.. https://nesn.com/2020/02/youtube-star-logan-paul-trolls-antonio-brown-in-nsfw-diss-track/ direct video if you don’t wanna read the story behind it https://youtu.be/KZCc-StOrvU
  22. They would be insane to trade him away, that new coach will want every weapon available to save mayfields career there. If they were willing to ship him away for a mid to low pick then as stated earlier that’s a big red flag something is wrong.
  23. I would not be against him coming to camp , but it would have to be a vet minimum kinda thing. One year deal. He was an elite zone corner in Carolina, the big debate was can he play man, in Washington he could not.
  24. I literally only clicked to say almost exactly that. Just putting out a little “feeler” info hoping teams don’t jump them in the draft
  25. Also let’s not forget Norman’s biggest knock was he was an elite zone corner in Carolina and fell off a cliff when Washington paid him to start playing man all the time. He’s the ultimate buy low veteran
