Kittle deserves wide receiver money. Tight end has morphed into the most important position on offense besides quarterback. They are the mismatch and the good ones cannot be covered. He should break the trend and cash in. I do think Kelce is a better receiver but he’s also in a pass first offense. Either way both guys cannot be covered by any defense

Griffin was on my radar before the offseason even started, he’d be a huge get. After what we’ve done though I can’t see them investing anymore into the D line

Which Bills player is mostl likely to progress in 2020?
Rc2catch replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would pick Knox too. With our top 3 receivers I can’t see how anyone will ever be able to cover him. He’s a mismatch machine this season and should be wide open basically every pass play -
Stuff like this happens with young guys. Especially when they’re bored and the routine is messed up. It was a dumb move but I think some of y’all are being a little harsh. Easy to think you’re untouchable and on top of the world when you’re that young with that much money. We see guys doing dumb stuff all the time, at least he’s not in a Dunbar kinda situation

Josh Allen Tops NFL.com's dark horse MVP List
Rc2catch replied to foreboding's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The talent and tools are there, rather he can put them together on the field is another story. Sure would be nice to see him leap into the Lamar, Mahomes and Wilson conversation though -
Seahawks-Browns discussed Wilson for 2018 #1
Rc2catch replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Either way JA is here and anyone we would consider moving him for would not be available anytime soon. That said, if forced to base an opinion I would only trade him for Mahomes or Wilson. But my opinion could certainly change by the end of the season. Most important season for a quarterback in buffalo in a really really long time. -
With so many Primetime games, is Sunday Ticket worth it?
Rc2catch replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn’t get it. Yet -
I’d prefer the team to lay low similar to last year. I’m of course hoping for Allen to continue his growth but nothing would break my heart than a similar season to Baltimore last year. Dominating the season and having an mvp quarterback and choking away the playoff game. I’d rather a 10-6 no media hype team that can work their butts off to get into the Super Bowl

Brady and the Bucs get 5 Primetime games
Rc2catch replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rather we like it or not 90% of the talk going into the season is Tampa and the Pats. They will both get non stop coverage. Most don’t think New England will be relevant or very competitive this season but they will still dominate headlines. BB will be talked about every game and may god held us if they start out hot and win a few, the media will go NUTS talking them up. -
Allen doesn’t catch anymore crap than previous quarterbacks. They all get beat up on here. As mentioned earlier Baltimore fans wanted Lamar ran out of town after playoff game 1 or switched to another position and boom the guy is mvp. Josh gets his fair share of fair and unfair criticism on here but it’s not worse than former quarterbacks since josh has a lot more support from fans so far. On here there’s always gonna be 5-6 trolls who hate him cause it messed up their mock and the wanted mayfield or Rosen or Darnold cause ya know they look so much better. Nationally the media basically goes off a stat page, and josh doesn’t always look good there throwing for 175- 270 yards and it’s not flashy like other quarterbacks

Saints, Panthers and Falcons didn’t play defense last year in a ton of games. If you want to shoot it out that’s the division to do it and put up stats. The bills are not some scary team nobody wants to face. If anything Brady left the AFC over Baltimore and KC. We are not quite there yet. Our defense is tough but definitely not scary

Josh Allen Running Style Versus Cam Newton
Rc2catch replied to TroutDog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh improved his game last season, but he won’t last in the league if he doesn’t continue improving as a passer. In this new age of athleticism at quarterback the running is vital to keep defenses guessing. Just my two cents but he has to smarten up at using check downs and underneath routes, he’s far too prone to the big play looking 15-20 yards down the field to uncork that cannon. We had games last season the offense was just putrid and inconsistent and I get wanting the big play but singletary would be wide open in the flat and we’d throw some 25 yard sideline pass that was extremely difficult to complete. It’s really the only knock on his game I have is not using the short check downs and not being very accurate on those short passes. If he could mimic Russel Wilson a little more he’d be a perennial MVP candidate year in and year out. All that said, I’m excited for his future and to watch him grow -
Healthy Skepticism for This Year's Draft Class...
Rc2catch replied to glazeduck's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here’s the simplicity of this draft. We got Diggs and moss who can contribute immediately and fill the two positions we had to have. This is the first draft in how long that we did not HAVE to depend on the rookie class to produce out of the gate?? Every year we need a rookie starter to come in and play above his experience level because we just don’t have the roster or depth. We don’t need that this year. We don’t need to judge the class quickly because in all honesty we don’t need any of those guys to produce year one (barring injuries) This is the first class in as long as I can remember that we actually don’t need to produce in year one. Moss and Diggs are the only two that should really be involved that much to really make a difference. Espenesa will be in rotation and hopefully have some production. Everyone else is kinda long term progression. Rather any of us like the picks or not it’s going to be hard to see these guys play (barring injuries) We drafted pretty smart on the long term effect of things and now have replacements for some aging vets. If the rookie class works out it will be really easy to move on from the likes of jerry Hughes and John brown and Barkley etc etc in the future. We don’t need most of these kids this year, just need them to digest their playbooks and get used to the life as a professional and be ready when it’s their time to shine. Talk about a no pressure situation. -
I wanted Yeldon to play last year. I would feel comfortable if he needs to play this year. Depending on the new roster rules etc etc I would like to see 3 guys in rotation at running back even if it’s Taiwan jones for 5-6 snaps a game. I’m all for different looks and formations to keep defenses guessing.

Love that they doubled down on WR in this draft
Rc2catch replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s nice to have some young fresh blood on the offense this season. I’m looking forward to more explosiveness given all these new toys. Big year for josh to make this crew click -
In our first mock I had the browns and got Delpit and Elliott.. But clearly not the correct rounds. I’m no draft specialist but they were two of my favorite players that wouldn’t get drafted high

Wonderful times to see people trying so hard to find complainants. We are now down to no star tight end not enough talent at punter backup quarterback 4-5th corner spots 4th safety spot 5-6th linebacker spot Not bad, I can handle the crying over those categories

Beane, please go get Clowney
Rc2catch replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last season Murphy had 5 sacks. Clowney had 3. Wasn’t about being as “good” the post was about we need an elite pass rusher in clowney to replace Murphy. So for fun, let’s do two years. Murphy with 9 sacks, clowney with 12. There is obviously more to clowneys game but he’s not an elite pass rusher or the missing piece to this defensive line. Similar to Murphy his production does not meet his price tag. And that’s why he’s not on a roster. -
Beane, please go get Clowney
Rc2catch replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lol no great pass rusher? Come on. Trent Murphy had as many sacks as clowney last year. Oh, do a quick google search of Mario Addison and see what he’s done that past 6-7 years. He’s a great pass rusher
