Cover1: Extensive Breakdown of Josh's performance

If he ever gets his footwork down he could reach mvp level status in the league. I was extremely impressed with his game but it was the Jets. He had great control of the offense. The one thing I can always say about the kid is he improves non stop. That’s why I don’t stress over the fumble stuff too much because he’s constantly evolving his game and fixing his mistakes. -
Oh Cody Ford is absolutely #1.. Can’t play tackle, he’s a natural fit at guard. Mcdermott is a fool to force him at tackle. Move him to guard . oh wait he sucks at guard.. McDermott’s staff can’t coach linemen. Honorary mention to daboll and his predictable play calls motor fumbles too much and is too slow to be a pro running back Diggs is overrated Morse is grossly overpaid for his talent kroft is still on this team lee smith got a holding penalty while being inactive levi wallace is not playing at the same level as Tre milano is always hurt and doesn’t deserve an extension Allen just isn’t a franchise guy I think I’m getting the hang of this.

Kyler Murray ran the ball 13 times, only got hit once
Rc2catch replied to Penfield45's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He doesn’t have the same athleticism. He can’t make as fast a move to get to that sideline or buy the time to slide like they do. Josh can make moves in the back field to avoid sacks and things like that, but once he hits the open field he doesn’t have the jets like those other guys. Murray can break contain and make one move and have a free untouched ten yard run to the sideline, Josh can’t make it there as fast so he ends up taking a hit trying to. I’m not saying he should be taking any of the hits, but when compared to the top running quarterbacks he’s nowhere near as athletic or fast as them in the open field and that is where he leaves himself open to take hits. We all agree he should develop some techniques to lessen the wear and tear on his body and have a lower percentage of injury risk. -
Mea culpa...I was wrong about Trent Murphy...
Rc2catch replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s funny how we hate on players based mainly on their salary which we want to spend elsewhere. Was Murphy overpaid? Yeah maybe but not as exaggerated as it’s made out to be compared to lots of defensive ends. I consider him as just another player and nothing overly special but his effort always seems to be there. I’m not a fan of how far his rush can be exposing that entire side of the pocket but it seems that may actually be by design. Happy to see some hate go away though on here. Going to need to find new whipping boys this season -

The same feelings as they do now. Nobody wants him on these designed runs turning the corner taking on defensive linemen and linebackers. -

It’s not just about sliding. It’s about avoiding contact and using the sidelines. At least that’s mostly what I see from Lamar and Wilson. They get a nice little scramble and use the sideline to avoid being hit. Josh tends to lower his shoulder and get the extra yard or two in those situations. I haven’t watched much of Murray but like others say Murray and Wilson were bigtime baseball players along with football so they’ve been practicing sliding their whole lives. Brady slides out of pure terror as he cannot handle taking a hit anymore whereas Allen seems to enjoy some contact in his game. As he matures or the coaches get mad he’ll learn to avoid more hits. Another thing to keep in mind is those other quarterbacks are not running many if any designed quarterback runs. Their scrambles are mostly broken plays or a judgment call to run and break the pocket. Josh has designed runs which puts him almost in a Derrick Henry powerback kinda situation coming around the corner -

Josh is never going to be as fast or shifty as those other guys. He’s not built to make people miss down field. He’s a bigger target. There’s tons of reasons why he’s never going to be the same kind of scrambler as Murray or Wilson or Lamar. And those reasons are why he’ll never avoid hits the same as them. Those are not learned talents those are god given my friend. -

To be fair, we’re comparing a motorcycle to an SUV here. Murray is smaller and faster. Let’s be honest, the 6 foot 5 quarterback isn’t exactly supposed to be a scrambler. We can all agree the hits need to be limited but if you’re expecting he’ll turn into a Murray or Wilson or even Lamar that’s just not gonna happen.- 66 replies

Why Your Team Sucks 2020: Buffalo Bills
Rc2catch replied to KingBoots8's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn’t pay for it, but holy crap I love these stories every year. I read the bills and Panthers. Panther fan: How sad is it I know more current players on the bills roster than I do Carolina 😂😂😂 -
I could see if we’re posting every scrub player cut or something but the bigger named players should always have their own thread on page one. Only so much Bills news on a given day and this is potentially big news

Other than the circus catches he was never actually that good. He put up some numbers but somebody had to and Eli targeted him non stop every game giving him countless chances to make those crazy catches. Either way he is not as good as people thought he was. Landry has put up stats and clutch catches this whole time cleveland has been a mess yet Beckham can’t seem to catch anything

Do we overvalue to pressure of fans on kickers? No fans and kickers had a really rough weekend. Maybe that noise and pressure actually helps. No preseason, maybe they needed the extra kicks in real game format. It was ugly across the league.

MNF After Dark: Titans at Broncos 10:10pm
Rc2catch replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think given the terrible kicking across the league week 1 we might wanna cut Bass a little slack. I have not verified but my buddy texted me and said there has been like 16 misses across the league on field goal attempts. Crazy stuff. -

I was just hoping to see Henry come out and dominate. I am disappointed -
Bills not coming out for National Anthem
Rc2catch replied to DE Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn’t really watch the anthem part before all this and I don’t watch it now. I don’t care who stands, who kneels, who does jumping jacks. Give me kickoff and I’ll watch -
He was one of my favorites. {secret} the last few years in madden I always traded for him and brought him back to Buffalo. This year I have not. I do think he’s better than Beasley and he’s right on par with brown. Absolutely loved the guy here with his run blocking. I’m happy he found real success with the Rams

First Positional Matchup to watch against MIA
Rc2catch replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The wonderful part of the Diggs trade is he’s not coverable. Our philosophy shouldn’t change that much given Miami’s defensive backfield. We should be trying to establish the run but that should be a goal every week. I would like to see them build on the screen game they introduced vs the jets and pepper Diggs and Knox with targets. -
Fart noises are always welcomed

We learned a Screen Game over the offseason

HUGE... I almost trickled a little urine in my pants when they completed a screen for positive yardage!!!!!!! Thank goodness -
Awwww... Were name calling now. A wise man once said the lowest form of conversation and intelligence is resorting to name calling.
