Not sure how to value him on a contract.. Just my opinion of course but he’s not a good running back. He’s a check down machine but there’s been plenty of guys who just catch check downs all day. When the chargers need a yard they pull him out for Sony Michel or Spiller or another back.

That seems pretty shady from the chargers. they rode this guy non stop and he was the entire offense, now they won’t pay him. They haven’t even extended Herbert yet, you’re telling me they can’t sign Ekeler for a couple years.

I’m obviously not against it. Maybe it’s me just keeping low expectations so I don’t get mad if they don’t sign anyone lol

I don’t expect much activity from buffalo at all. Even after the restructures. Some mid to low tiered guys later on when the dust settles. But ya never know

Spot on. Fangio is the guy you bring in to run the defense so you can focus solely on the offense. He has 100% authority over that defense. McDaniel figured out pretty quickly last season he can’t takeover and fix the defense if things go horrible.

When is the last time you did like the direction of the team? Honest question. Might do some good to know where some people felt the train went off the correct track and things became so negative for fans.

I don’t view this as that big of a deal. Did we expect nobody would add talent? Miami is all in and kudos to them for being aggressive. I’ve seen nothing from McDaniel to say he can maximize the talent he has to work with though. We’d all be silly if we thought Miami was going into this offseason and not going to add some talent to the secondary and running back room and I would expect them to add a top notch backup quarterback

A lot of people don’t like him for some reason and call him trash. The only knock I’ve seen from him was Tampa fans being upset he jump’s occasionally for passes that really didn’t require jumping. Making the catch more difficult and ruining any yac. But he has jets and at worst I could see him playing a gadget role similar to McKenzie. Buffalo is lacking that burner speed and Miller should be a team friendly contract for whoever gets him, he still has a lot to prove.

Well done. Every year on here we see fans wanting the top free agents available so it’s nice to see a more realistic list of potential targets.

Thielen has some great hands and makes ridiculous catches, but he looked like a tight end running last year and he always seems injured

Oh I definitely think there’s some risk. Daboll has to think he can progress further than where he’s at. Even though similar to buffalo they got into the playoffs year one I still expected them to let Jones and Barkley walk and tank the season and really tear it down. Schoen and Daboll just put their jobs on the line signing him.

Were you paying attention? The OP asked if us fans would want him and what would we give for him. I threw out some random scenario with Oliver based on similar salaries. Not sure we need to get into the full technicals of a potential deal or what Tennessee wants in return

So almost an even swap for Oliver who probably would fit great next to Simmons. Win win

He’s basically a one year rental at 16 million if I read correctly. Oliver and a 6th for Henry 🤷

Everyone wants the Super Bowl. Nothing wrong with that it should be the goal. Sometimes you need the perfect storm to get there. Maybe they’ve blown their best or easiest chance, but I don’t think it’s the last chance. You just gotta get hot at the right time. I am content with what they’ve built. Like many fans I question some of the head scratching decisions they’ve made. But they are capable of beating anyone and competing at the highest of levels, I can’t ask for much more than that even if they’ve fallen flat at crucial times.

Yeah great idea, dump him at his lowest value… Also I’m not a big Hollywood fan but he’s put up some decent numbers that gabe struggled mightily to get this year.
