  1. When targeted Kroft has produced. We have obviously seen flashes from Knox when targeted mostly last season as he was one of the 3 main weapons used. Allen just doesn’t look that way often this year. I think it’s just where he’s at in his development. He didn’t check down to running backs last year and he’s using them more this year. According to that chart your best tight ends are seeing 5+ targets a game. Knox is at 2.4 and Kroft at 1.78. Cant make much noise with those attempts. Given just Diggs and Beasley out there any tight end running a route should be open. There is no way our guys are that bad they can only win a couple routes a game. Rather it’s Daboll not having them run routes and mostly stay back to block (I don’t know those numbers) or just this stage of Allen’s development where he’s enjoying his new weapons (Diggs and Davis). I’m a firm believer that you could throw a Waller or Henry on this team right now and they still may not be used unless it’s emphasized by coaches.
  2. What’s the rank in targets? We don’t throw to tight ends how high would you expect them to rank?
  3. I think some of you forget it is still a learning process with first time coaches. Everyone crowns Andy Reid as this god like coach and he lost almost all the big games in Philly and was regarded as a coach who chokes in prime time. Makes the playoffs every year but his teams fell apart under the bright lights. He was even a solid but joke hire for Kansas City. There is nothing wrong with Mcdermott. There are areas to improve on but you can say that with almost every coach in the league. But not every coach in the league has accomplished what Mcdermott has turning this franchise around so far.
  4. This is one of the scarier games I think we play. Fans are going to be over confident but I think San Fran matches up really good against us. Physical and run dominant. Deebo is healthy and their running backs are getting healthier. Hopefully we continue putting up points cause we will probably need them. Really hoping they can’t dominate the clock with their run game and keep josh off the field
  5. To be fair to Romo he’s fantastic calling a game, but remember he has bosses like everyone else. The networks always have talking points that must be met during games. It’s why some of these guys are so repetitive and can be annoying.
  6. That is still the one instance I’m totally baffled by this season.
  7. I could be wrong but I thought they were found to be in violation of protocols with those quarterbacks not wearing masks in practice or the building or something. So it’s possible it was meant as a form of punishment.
  8. That’s too funny. I’m an adult I don’t break things or throw temper tantrums. It’s a game it’s meant to be fun right? Entertainment? There are plenty of things to get angry enough at without allowing a game to upset you that much. I’d expect that behavior from a teenager. I could maybe understand for the gamblers who have decent money on the line but as a regular fan it seems childish.
  9. They are two completely different players. They figured out Klein needs to play around the line and be blitzed. But if he drops in coverage we’re in big trouble. Milanos best strength is coverage. Even if they bring milano back we should be expecting another coverage guy added via draft or free agency
  10. Targets people targets. We can be upset with our tight end stats all day but they’re not targeted in the pass game. This is why when Knox makes a mistake it stands out so badly. There’s what maybe 1-2 targets a game to tight ends and of course if Knox makes a mistake it jumps off the screen. Kroft has stepped up when asked but he still sees no targets. It’s not like these guys are so bad they’re never open that’s basically impossible in this offense. It doesn’t totally matter who you bring in if you don’t target them during the games.
  11. He’d probably make the top 25-35 of worst hires in my book. But I’m not sure we were on the cusp of being a solid playoff team
  12. Patricia makes that list. He was handed a decent team with a franchise quarterback on the cusp of being good if he coached the defense up and they’ve become pathetic on both sides of the ball. Lions need a complete tear down from the very top.
  13. Patricia has to be one of the worst coaching hires ever
  14. Definitely works in the ravens favor as beat up as they are. Would of liked to compare inactive lists Thursday or Sunday.
  15. I mean possibly his best players are late rounders. JC Jackson was an UDFA right? It’s not just about pro bowlers but contributing role players. Karras and Thuney and Shaq Mason been starters. James white. There’s a lot of misses and a lot of guys who didn’t get second contracts from New England but went on to play for others. I’m not trying to give the guy a ton of praise his draft record is spotty but he’s got some of his best hits after the 3rd round.
  16. To be fair he’s pretty fantastic at the lower rounds.
  17. Pittsburgh wide receivers are always a hit it seems (sorry Limas Sweed) Baltimore is quite good. Carolina is sneaky good. They’ve been pretty competitive and seem to have a knack for drafting and developing offensive linemen. San Fran seems to do well in recent years. Indy has been decent at their drafts although getting manning and then luck was a blessing. Drafting is just one part to it though, we love the Carolina connection round here but they’re terrible at contract negotiations despite the decent drafting. Remember D’Angelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart making pretty decent money at the same time on extensions?
  18. That was my thought. They might find all kinda damage in there. I was one of the stupid who watched the clip zoomed in and ewwwwwww that looked nasty.
  19. It was a complete fail to bench him. We’re not talking a peterman meltdown where you HAVE to get him out of the game. They basically just created a media frenzy that’ll drive the whole team nuts now this week. On top of the fact guys like Parker have to prefer Fitz who gives them more opportunities to make plays.
  20. Probably the biggest beef I can have with Flores over there. He’s done a great job. But I think it was dumb to bench Fitz while the team was hot and he was playing good. Tua should of came in during a bad Fitz game imo. Fitz was playing lights out for them. All the hype on that team since Tua took over was terrible. I’m 1000 times more scared of Fitz playing the rest of the season than the rookie. Kid was gonna have growing pains. And they bailed on him in a panic move. If you’re gonna bench Fitz you gotta stick with Tua
  21. San Fran actually scares me the most. They’re beaten and bruised for sure but that is possibly the best run team I’ve ever watched. They just pluck any ol running back off the street and rush em for 75+ yards. They pluck all these receivers from nowhere and they run the ball. They even hand off to tight ends on motions and run them. It’s a game we SHOULD win but that run game is really scary to me. We have an offense that can put up points but they have to be on the field to do it.
  22. I think I would let him walk. I don’t think he’s totally over the hill. But I don’t think he’ll be worth his next contract either. Ive liked Hughes during his time here, but he has to be the most hated player by almost all officials in the league. That man gets abused week in and week out and they almost never call anything. After what’s happened this season I’m all in for a youth movement on the line. Fresh blood that’s hungry. And cheaper.
  23. There’s fans of every team across the country. Those are the die hard kinda fans imo. The casual fans only know the “popular” teams that are on ESPN all the time. We don’t get a lot of prime time games. Up until the last couple years we’re not talked about by the national media. I can only speak from my experience. Lived in Niagara Falls 30 years then in Vegas for a cup of tea and Tennessee for 10 years. And my nephew who stationed in Cali and Georgia and now in Alabama. People generally don’t know who the Bills are. Most people don’t even know there’s a whole state in New York it’s automatically “oh is it crazy living in New York” cause they think if you’re from New York you lived in New York City or at least visited there all the time. Most Bills fans are die hard fans, and they’re usually tied to the Super Bowl days in some way. But let’s face it, there’s been an entire generation growing up with buffalo in the basement of the league.
  24. I hear Indy has a few spots open on their bandwagon. Go cheer for frank since you love him so much ❤️❤️❤️
  25. Hahahahaha that’s a big chunk of change to bring them two over. But I don’t think anyone would complain
