  1. More times than not those early round tight ends aren’t that successful. I fully expect they will bring in some competition/depth but chances are it’s still knoxs job to lose next year and I’m ok with that. We have zero patience around here. Look at our cut list this season. Bass gone after game 1-2. Klein gone the entire first half of the season. Levi been gone for two years now. Norman out before the season even started. Edmunds cut or benched We wouldn’t have enough people to field a team if fans had their way. Knox may not be Kelce but he’s also not the worst option either. Drops or not he’s a monster mismatch for opposing defenses and they still have to game plan and try and cover the guy.
  2. It’s almost January, and the board isn’t filled with mock free agency and drafts. Life is good. Enjoy the ride and stop worrying about completely useless other ideas of who did what in past years. Live in the now. Let Baltimore worry about Lamar.
  3. Well I can say this, even though I wouldn’t pay him, I will NOT be upset to see him return on a new contract here. I do enjoy his play. My nephew who is a big Carolina fan is watching closely, milano is his #1 free agent wish for them.
  4. I think they already kinda tried to replace him, I always thought Vosean Joseph was drafted to steal his job with his athleticism. I was wrong there lol. It will be interesting for sure what they do, I’m no gm but I wouldn’t sign him up long term. Take Klein off this team this season and we might be fighting just to get in the playoffs. He dominated for 2-3 weeks while milano was out. It’s a tricky situation. I don’t think anyone can dispute the difference milano makes, kids a player. He’s better than Klein, we shall see what Beane does with him. I stick to my theory though he’ll let him test the market to gauge his value though
  5. Similar to Shaq you should take the 5th year option. It’s not that costly and that extra cost controlled year can be huge. I still think it was a mistake to not take lawsons 5th year. I was fine letting him walk but I would of gladly kept him around one more year at that price.
  6. Edmunds drop into coverage is mostly hinged on pass rush. In 2-4 seconds nobody is throwing near him and if they do it’s in front on him, after 2-4 seconds the quarterback can easily work around him. That’s one of the biggest reasons he catches heat on here is the quarterback is reading Edmunds drop a lot of times and hitting simple crossing routes when they clear him. If the pass rush doesn’t have pressure Edmunds is left as a sitting duck out there.
  7. Klein has been pretty durable through the years. Not that I was overly excited at his salary or think he’s worth 6. We are close to having our main core group of young talent signed up long term, so not everyone can get a new contract. Milano is worth more here than most other teams, but that doesn’t mean you have to pay it. I would not pay him 8 million a year long term. One season, sure. It’s nothing against him, his play, or his durability. But his spot is one of the easiest to replace on a rookie deal and long term team building that money may be needed elsewhere.
  8. Milanos worth to buffalo is much much higher than his worth on the open market. Not sure he will see very big offers in free agency. That said I’m not cool with paying him 8-10 million a year and it only takes one team to splurge. I would expect similar to lawson they’ll let him test the waters hoping they can compete with other offers. I don’t have high hopes of him returning, nor do I have high hopes of Daryl Williams returning (he’s gonna get a monster deal). This is what happens when teams get good, gonna have to let some players walk after their rookie deals.
  9. I think we invest so much in special teams and they are generally fantastic, opposing teams have worse starting field position when they actually HAVE to return it. We are pinning them deep sometimes on kick coverage.
  10. I took Allen LAST YEAR #4 overall, top 3 backs were gone. Won the super bowl still. This year I took Allen #8 overall then Diggs in the third, people laughed at me. Super bowl repeat champ over here
  11. I’m on the DVR later for the game, how’s the weather?
  12. I would rather play the starters. If the offense is hot tonight I see no reason to possibly break their momentum and rhythm. I also would prefer to face the dolphins in the playoffs and not Baltimore if possible. Ravens are my most feared team, only in the fact if their run game is working its unstoppable. It’s been shown it can be stopped but I’d rather not chance it.
  13. Yeah I thought to start the year they would be impressive on offense. Duke Johnson is not as good as I thought for sure. David Johnson has exceeded my expectations. But overall they’re in pretty bad shape for next season. I agree in two years though it’s a really nice blank slate to start with.
  14. If the Texans could effectively run the ball their team would be so much better. Watson is fantastic. The defense is so bad though they just can’t get any stops and some ball control and time of possession would do them wonders.
  15. Yeah works now, looks great!!!
  16. Yeah I didn’t see dark either but it sounds cool
  17. When we signed him most of the stuff I read was about how great he is on sp teams and what a great run blocker he is, but we got to stop with this switching people to tight end stuff. It’s not common and takes such a long time. It’s not an easy position to learn and certainly not easy to switch to
  18. This kid is a fool. Your career is already on the rocks, coaches have questioned your maturity. And you finally get a shot to win your job back and impress future teams on your growth and then you go do this. He’ll be out of the league when his rookie deal ends
  19. For me anyways coach of the year is who did the most with the least. Browns have very little talent on defense and it’s a little shocking to see them win this much, Miami wasn’t expected to compete this year similar to when we backed in with mcd year one, Indy I think has done quite well, lot of teams doing well this year and looking dominant at times.
  20. If fans here didn’t already have their minds made up they’d be dying for Knox after 90 targets in Washington.
  21. They just spent a late pick on Fromm. I’m sure they can sign a free agent on the cheap this offseason if they choose.
  22. I would give nothing for him. I’m not even sure id call him and upgrade from Barkley. There will be plenty of low end backup guys around this offseason I wouldn’t waste a pick on him.
  23. Carr wins this one without a doubt, he has some really funny ones he sneaks in there and changes them all the time
  24. Targets targets targets!!!!! Thomas has 92 targets. 60+ catches. Knox 32 targets for 19 catches. Kroft has 16 targets for 12 catches. Smith is 4 targets and 2 catches. Gilliam is 2 targets and 2 catches. When a team has no weapons someone HAS to put up stats. Congrats to him for breaking out and making plays he’s gonna earn himself a nice contract, but if there’s no targets here we didn’t miss out. Pepper guys with throws and they’ll make some plays like foster did years ago. Washington is using running backs like crazy in the pass game and outside mclaurin they don’t have much else to throw to. There’s no guarantees Thomas would produce like that here. You could easily swap him and Knox and fans would be drooling over Knox making plays there. For his drops and miscues I bet with 90 targets he’d have some really flashy plays in there too.
  25. Ravens are the only team that actually scares me. Mostly because when they run well they’re unbeatable imo. Lamar for all his faults is an insane athlete and that speed is tough to match.
