    Speaking of the AL East...I saw Pillar was dealt.Hands down..one of the best defensive players to ever play in Buffalo.Some of his bizarre grabs are unforgettable and are still talked about.At least the Jays sent him back home.

    Greg Cosell was just on with Murph and Steve for his weekly Friday visit.He said outside of Morse (lock) and Long, he doesn't see a starter in the new group.

    They were a tired group today,at least Noah was lucky enough to hop a early flight out of Sofla. Tough to swing a bat on 4 or 5 hours of sleep...last night's game should have been in the afternoon or today's opener held tomorrow instead of today. The schedule makers got us good..oh well.

    Did his dad or relative own Porky's on Clinton in Kaisertown,as well? They sponsored that big softball tourney at Houghton Park over the Labor Day weekends.Yes..he was a neat guy..down to earth..he took to much abuse about his weight though.

    I love it down there..best minor league park in the country imo.Nothing beats the smell and taste of those Sahlen's dogs. Not sure if you know this but "The Butcher" died last year.

    Okposo must have made a pretty good buck for his time served here? I remember the day they signed him,Hamilton on GR was luke warm about the addition.He was right. Remember that guy..Ville Leino...he once missed a empty netter from 20 feet out.
