Where do you live off of Como Park. We used to live in the Village Christan court but moved about 12 years ago & now we are in south Lancaster all the way down off of Lake. I usually take Clinton downtown & in the morning I am in the office in less than 20 minutes.
Near CPB and Lake.

Is it bold to say that I think a WR will be taken in the top 10?
That flood will happen in the second round, imo.
I prefer Anthony Johnson in what looks to be the 4th round.

Before the season ends...MLBN or ESPN should have a national telecast with ONLY Brennaman and Blass calling the game.No commercials.
Talk about getting entertained.
Steve-"up until the 40's, outfielders shared their mits with the opposing teams"
Marty-"yes,because of the war,we had soup kitchens instead of mit makers"
Steve-"I need to tell you a story about my grandfather...... "

the homeliness and small insider banter of local telecasts warms the cockles of my heart
Ron and Gary mocking Keith's 200th commitment to shedding 10 pounds is always welcome, with a new King Cone dispenser in the press room.
i go back to Harry Caray doing the 7th inning stretch with the White Sox, somehow the AM station came through to Southern Ontario, Harry and Jimmy Piersall were amazing to listen to. During a bad game Harry would let Jim carp on and on about how the whole franchise blows, then ask about Jim's recent dates. I swear JP called a woman a very very bad word one night, leading to him being away for 10 days. Jimmy had issues...
And..I'm sure your small transistor radio picked up Jack Buck on KMOX in the 70's.Ernie Harwell on WJR ? from Detroit. Those small radios really served a purpose for us.

If you like the home town feel to a broadcast...when you have the time this year, listen to Marty Brennaman on the Reds broadcasts...his last year, much like Blass with the Pirates....he can write a book on the air..much like Vin Scully did.

Another one year deal contract...no harm.If he blows up this summer,Alexander might be his back up.

I have absolutely no interest in flashing to the booth every third pitch to show the announcers, they are not very good and I could not care less what they look like
You wouldn't say that if it's a Good Humor ice cream inning on SNY. Nobody can figure out how the cute little dalmatian gets on top of the ice cream truck..Keith gets happy because he gets a free treat ??
On a serious note...I like when the Cubs go to the booth to interview who's singing Take Me Out To The Ballgame....and then,of course...they show the person singing the song during the stretch.

I can't even make it to an expressway entrance in under 15 minutes, and I am not in the boonies. ?♀️I live by Como Park in Lancaster and sometimes I'm lucky to get on the William St. ramp within 15 minutes.

Everyone is eating cheese pizza, I assume.
I’ve read that Buffalo is the largest market for Boston’s haddock fishermen. Not only the restaurants here, but just about every parish and fire hall has a fish fry on Friday nite.
.
That's why we don't have any Long John Silver's here.

I have a friend going to Buffalo for the Frozen Four. He's looking a sports bar to watch the Red Sox on Friday night. Any suggestions? Thanks.
He has to go to Murray's instead of BWW or Tulley's. No kids running around and not a lot noise. Some members have mentioned places that do not have the MLB package.(Mets/Yankees and Indians) are the only teams televised here without the extra charge.

He'll have to show a lot more than he did last year to have any chance. Anybody know what the disciplinary problem was last year? Might well be a practice player candidate if not claimed on waivers.
He was late for a meeting..it's not a big deal now since Beane got his special teams guys in FA.He was drafted to be a gunner, possible return man..he failed at both jobs...and those pre season drops were brutal.
By not having him on the roster next year..is a improvement.

-Anthony Johnson (Buffalo)- I remember hearing about him last summer and I made it a point to try and watch some UB games to see what he was all about. He was injured a bunch and I didn’t get a chance to see him at all. I think a mid to late round guy that could be decent in the league given the right situation.
Your turn. Give me a few WRs that you’d like to see. Give a early, mid, late pic.
Last May CBS Sports had him as high as #11.Leipold held him back,as you know,to be saved for a top bowl game, which never happened.Good news...Beane attended a game in person and gave him a positive report...which means nothing.
Face facts..he can burn,he sheds,is strong but his hammy is the issue.Yolo dropped him to the 4th round.
I would take him in a heartbeat with our first #4.

I’m curious, any idea where Miller came in? I was surprised by his 3 year $16.5 mil contract ($6.5 guaranteed). I did not see that coming.
It’s rare for me to say that I have “fun” watching a guard play, but he was indeed fun to watch at times last year. I like a guy with some nasty in his blood.
Let's not forget..he has great feet.He didn't pull out of the gap much because Bodine/Groy were not capable of covering that left hole .He will only get better by playing next to Morse. I'm rooting for him to keep his current starting job...
He carries his own lunchbox.jmo

And don't expect Teller to not bring his best this summer...his baptism is over.
