I like Bradford as long as he comes on a cap friendly number with not a lot guaranteed. If he wants big money like these other guys are getting no way-too risky with his injury history. But if its like a 12-15 million bridge type deal that is cap friendly with not a lot of dead money or an out clause I support it.

Why would Foles or Foles agent want to stay there. His client just won a SB and he is only being paid 7 mill? Foles value is as high as it will ever get.... If I were his agent I would demand that he be traded and then extended with another team for more money.

You need a qb to be aggressive though. Peterman was aggressive....

If I am Foles I tell my agent to demand a pay increase or demand a trade. Why would you want to stay on with a team as a backup after winning a Superbowl. Your value is high right now

How does calling a good game on D make you a good head coach? He has proven he is not a good head coach, but he is a very good DC.

I find it hard to believe that the Colts would trade Luck with McDaniels coming in but maybe Josh wants to start with his own qb, and want more cap space for talent around him. If this is actually a possibility I 100% support trading a 1st a second (or maybe 2 seconds) and/or a player to get this done. I may even think about a 1st this year and 1st next year.

Bradford may be a good bridge qb as he won't be as expensive. Maybe we get lucky and he stays healthy if not at a minimum he is good for grooming the rookie and or Peterman

Bradford is a better qb than smith IMO but has the durability concerns. The question is should we care? If he is not going to be a long term starter/just a bridge and we aren't investing as much of a cap hit does it matter that he has an injury history?

Nick Foles may have boosted his next contact up a bit that's all you can take from that situation

The most likely scenario this off season is the Bills sign a middle of the road bridge when such as bradford, keenum, smith, they draft a QB in the middle rounds and those 2 and NP battle in camp. If NP had the best off season and camp it's possible he does start. I just don't see the bills trading up 15 spots which will likely cost 3 1sts. Maybe if Baker fell.

GMs are stubborn to their don't reach and value priciples. One of the top 4 qbs should slide out of the top 10

I think everyone on the board overreacts to these kinds of threads, everyone wants to tear everyone down for just saying per an inside source. I take any "insider" thread with a grain of salt but I always enjoy reading them. Unfortunately they are always filled with pages of pages of "you are an idiot" "you are a troll" blah blah, I just find it all a waste of time. For your first point, I am not willing to move on from Peterman and just cut him because of his one bad game, but if the Bills are in position to get one of the top guys I am all for it but honestly I don't see it happening. So I think the realistic outcome will be a bridge QB like Bradford or Smith, or we draft a guy in the late 1st/early 2nd and if that is the case then Peterman has a real shot to be the starter this year....like it or not. Bring 3 qbs in the competition next spring, I just don't see the Bills giving away 3 1st rounders + more to get in top 5.

Wow. After reading this thread my biggest takeaway is I am surprised on how many bills fans have completely given up on Peterman after one really bad outing. I don't make a decision on a guy until at least a half dozen games

Its an interesting question. I think doing what the Patriots did in this league is almost impossible. It is a lot easier to win in the NBA than the NFL imo. Jordan is obviously a better athelete but I think what Brady and the pats have accomplished is better than Jordan and the Bulls. As hard as it is for me to say. However, then there is all the cheating.....
