Hopkins released by Arizona (7/16: signed by Titans)
TheyCallMeAndy replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
You’d be crazy to think that Josh and Pat aren’t interchangeable in his mind. Bills have 600k more than KC does, both teams will have to do gymnastics to get it done. Even with same money, I still feel he gets more targets in KC with Kelsey getting up there in age (35, I think?) I hope it’s Buffalo though. -

You all realize Hopkins gets to choose where he goes, right? He will get more targets, money, and better chance of winning a ring if he signs with KC. -

And are we not going to talk about how the guy in the photo is clearly not the guy in the Twitter profile pic? -

I really think it’ll be between Chiefs and Bills unless someone throws stupid money at him. When it comes to most targets, more money, and championship odds it’s hard not to come away thinking Chiefs may be the top landing spot. -

Ross Tucker ranks NFL Coach’s, places McDermott at #22.
TheyCallMeAndy replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lol whatever. He says that and then puts Kyle Shanahan at 6th. -
This is probably a meaningless stat and lacks context. Bills also won 41 games over the last 3 seasons soo…. Anyone who watches him knows he doesn’t have the Ryan Fitzpatrick turnover gene.

74 seconds of JA to help get you through the day
TheyCallMeAndy replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I gotta say friends, enjoy this. I know we want a title and all that, but enjoy this. We have a 27 year old, elite franchise QB. 2011 Andy never thought we’d see that day. The future is bright but wildly unpredictable, if Allen retires at 30 we will look back one this stretch of greatness we are on and wish we soaked it in more. Enjoy this, soak it in. Man. -
He’s a big dude and still a better athlete 99.9% of this MB lol

Football stuff ❤️ Was Diggs at previous years’ OTAs?

If you gotta ask…

Dodson will definitely start, IMO.

Joel Wilson No 40 (Projected to be in the 4.7 range) but had good 3-Cone and 20 Yard Shuttle numbers. Pass catching TE.

Per text. Considering they traded a 5th to bring him back, it’s a good re-signing. Let him compete with Hamlin for that 4th safety spot.

Is it mandatory?

He has areas to improve, no question, but this wasn’t a like a 14th rated Offense. They were #1 in DVOA, Dorsey build a phenomenal foundation. Allen is a massive part, but they still did good things.

I mean, y’all realize the offense was actually really good last year, right?

Didn’t Diggs do the same thing? -
May mean something, may mean nothing, but last year Bills had 7 LBers in TC, only 4 that were not viewed as special teams only in Edmunds, Milano, Dodson, and Bernard. Mata, Andre Smith, and Spector. This year they have 8, but Milano, Bernard, Klein, Williams and Dodson are all high on the LB depth chart. They still have Spector, Mata, and Howard who are all roster worthy players. I still feel we see more 3 LB sets, they have the players for it.

Which Bills players are “Make-It or Break-It” for 2023?
TheyCallMeAndy replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like the thread, I just disagree with the list. It just depends what you mean by “break.” Done with the team? Done in the NFL? I actually think Davis and Oliver are more likely to get a 2nd contract with the Bills if they do not reach that next level. They are both solid, as long as the price is right they will be back. Ford and Rapp will play limited snaps, I think their Monday-Saturday performances will impact the odds of a second contract more than their impact on Sundays. If Espenesa copies 2022 and pastes it in 2023 he’ll get an extension. True ‘make or break’ in my eyes are Phillips, Hynes, Poyer, and Hyde for age/cap reasons. For performance reasons I’ll go with Basham and Brown.
